Some context to the above.

Trumpco is running up investigations against Brennan and others relating to the "Russia Hoax," all of which occurred in the 2016-2017 timeframe, long past any statute of limitations.

They're also doing it out of Florida and angling to try to get it in front of Cannon. Well, none of the defendants reside in Florida or did at the time of any alleged offense, and no element of the offense occurred in Florida, so there is no way a criminal case could be properly venued there.

Grisly detail. https://justthenews.com/sites/default/files/2025-12/BrennanAltongaLetter12-22-25.pdf

"properly"? Bless your little heart bro...properly has left the building.

Putin burns Trump with embarrassing details of phone chat

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/putin-burns-trump-with-embarrassing-details-of-phone-chat/ar-AA1TeZks

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claimed in a phone call with President Donald Trump that Kyiv had attacked one of his official residences—a claim which Ukraine denied almost instantly.

The Russian readout of the call said that Putin, 73, told Trump, 79, that Ukraine “launched a terrorist attack” using drones to target the Russian president’s residence. The Kremlin further said that Trump “was shocked by this news, literally outraged.”

“[Trump] said he couldn’t even imagine such crazy actions. And, as stated, this will undoubtedly impact American approaches to working with Zelensky, whom, as Trump himself said, thank God, the current administration hasn’t given ‘Tomahawks,’” the Kremlin readout said.

Putin and Trump spoke for the second time in the last day, with Trump describing it as “a very good talk,” but adding that they have “a few very thorny issues” remaining.

Following the call, Trump told reporters that he was “very angry” when Putin told him about the alleged attack. Trump said it was one thing to “be offensive” but another “to attack his house.”

When asked if U.S. intelligence services had confirmed that the attack actually happened, Trump said it was “possible” that the attack did not occur as Putin said.

We won't be a woke nation. And that's evidently how we like it.

Woke basically means tolerance. We hate it!

Or, an understanding of history and its subsequent effect on current day.

I always have this loaded up for whenever a stupid (my dad or his buddies) start berating woke. Being from oklahoma, there is an inexplicable soft spot for the plight of native americans amongst the most ardent right wingers.

The set up: The cherokee were one of the five “civilized “ tribes as I learned in oklahoma history. They took the US to the supreme court to prevent their land from being taken. The cherokee won their case in the supreme court. Then andrew jackson sent the us military to force the cherokee to walk from south carolina, traverse the mississippi river, and walk to oklahoma along what is now known as the trail of tears. Many died along the way.

I then pose the question: do you believe that the cherokee were put in a disadvantageous position?

The answer is always a “well.. yeah”

My response: “congratulations! You’re woke!”

With a big motherfucking smile.

They did what they always do. They take a word and change it to mean whatever they want. Woke originally just meant that you were aware enough to not treat people like shit. Now someone's fucking car breaks down or something and they go "Stupid woke car!".

I recall first hearing the term "woke" somewhere in the middle of 2000 during the growing coverage of the Black Lives Matter movement, though I'm sure the term originated earlier than that. I don't remember reading anything that tried to define the term with some level of specificity. But I gathered from context that "woke" was simply at its core a modern term for awareness of and empathy toward demographics of the American population that had been systematically disadvantaged and discriminated against. Someone feel free to clarify or correct me.

And then, yes, MAGA transformed "woke," along with "DEI," into shorthand for any organization, policy, or practice that dared discuss -- and remind white right wingers -- that still in America today there are minorities who are oppressed by our nation's socioeconomic systems.

The term "woke" is more malleable, I guess. But I'm still baffled that the words "diversity," "equity," and "inclusion," either individually or used together, have become four-letter words for millions of Americans.

You can’t be using 5 syllable words when conversing with Oklahomans.

@ChiTownDoc knows a few 5 syllable words. But he had to go to med school for that.

All of those wheelchair ramps that Greg Abbott uses came out of DEI measures.

Woke to me is anything that undermines traditional masculine or American values like toughness, independence, freedom of speech, personal responsibility, and/or is an overreaction to a perceived cultural problem. It’s beyond politics. For example to me honoring black soldiers or teaching about the trail of tears isn’t woke. It’s just our history. Guardian caps in football, pronoun obsession, the extra first base bag in baseball, etc. are examples of woke things.

Agreed. seatbelts, DUI laws, kid's bike helmets, fluoride, bidets, speed limits, ban on tobacco advertising, labor laws, etc. are all woke af.

Freedom of speech is a masculine value?

independence

In a Feb. 22, 2022, radio interview, Trump praised Putin for recognizing two parts of eastern Ukraine as independent: “I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine – of Ukraine – Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful. So, Putin is now saying, ‘It’s independent,’ a large section of Ukraine. I said, ‘How smart is that?’ And he’s going to go in and be a peacekeeper. … Here’s a guy who’s very savvy. I know him very well – very, very well.”

freedom of speech

"If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn't their very valuable Broadcast Licenses be terminated? I say, YES!" Trump wrote on Truth Social early on Wednesday.

personal responsibility

“I don’t take responsibility at all,” Trump said defiantly, pointing to an unspecified “set of circumstances” and “rules, regulations and specifications from a different time.”

I never voted for trump. The right spoke to some very real cultural problems but our low IQ public could not see the hypocrisy behind it. I always could, all the way back to the Kaepernik thing. People were talking about woke on here and I gave my two cents on it.

And what an interesting two cents it was. See, to me woke is the sunshine on the first spring day. It's the sound of my daughter's laugh. It's the smell of fresh laundry. So funny how words can mean any dumb thing we want them to!
