The cow was the best-looking female on campus. And still would be.

She's not exactly gorgeous but man that's still pretty mean.

His post-game interviews for the Cowboys were fantastic. Would lose it almost every time.

If you haven't seen it, there is a 10 minute or so video of him being interviewed by Dale Hanson in the mid-90's Dallas training camp.  It was very entertaining, filled with innuendo, passive aggressive back and forth and ends with Barry slugging Dale in the arm as they go to break.  Dale is an instigator and huge Cornhusker fan so you can imagine the tension between the two.  Its worth a watch. im sure its on Youtube

Bucknuts asked ChatGPT to predict the Ohio State season. I've spoilered it below. I found it entertaining, even if it has OSU only losing one game all season, their opener.

AI predicts Ohio State's 2025 season

We asked ChatGPT to break down the upcoming Buckeye season.

Patrick MurphyPatrick Murphy15 hrs25

Ohio State's 2025 season is just days away. The last time the Buckeyes took the field, they defeated Notre Dame to be crowned the 2024 national championship in Atlanta.

While the Scarlet and Gray celebrated the program's ninth national title, attention quickly shifted to the new year. Ohio State saw most of its top players depart, with 14 of them being chosen in the 2025 NFL Draft.

That has made for a busy offseason for the Buckeyes. The Scarlet and Gray had to replace six starters on offense and eight on defense, along with other players who made an impact last season.

Despite all the changes this offseason, the expectations remain unchanged. Ohio State's goals are to beat Michigan in late November, win the Big Ten (two things the team hasn't achieved since at least 2020) and secure back-to-back national championships, something that hasn't occurred in the 135 seasons of playing football.

Ohio State won the national championship game in 2024, but the 2025 season is upon us! The first game week is here as the Buckeyes look for their first repeat national championship. The basketball season will be here before we know it. It's nearly time for Ohio State sports to resume. Stay on top of the latest Buckeye news by BECOMING A BUCKNUTS SUBSCRIBER today!

The Bucknuts staff shared their thoughts on this season in last week's Roundtable. However, we asked AI to make predictions for the Buckeyes' 2025 season.

Here is what ChatGPT predicts the Scarlet and Gray will achieve this fall.

WEEK 1 - OHIO STATE VS. TEXAS

Result: Texas 27, Ohio State 24

Arch Manning's first road start comes in a top-five showdown. In Julian Sayin's debut, the second-year quarterback flashes his talent, but Texas' front seven, including Anthony Hill Jr., Colin Simmons and others, squeezes just enough in passing downs, and the Horns steal it late with a long field goal. It feels like a College Football Playoff preview more than a verdict.

WEEK 2 - OHIO STATE VS. GRAMBLING

Result: Ohio State 52, Gambling 6

A get-right game for the Buckeyes. Expect a heavy dose of quick rhythm throws to build Julian Sayin's confidence and multiple running backs rotating in the game as the offensive line leans on an overmatched front. The Buckeye defense is dominant in a multi-sack, multi-turnover performance.

WEEK 3 - OHIO STATE VS. OHIO UNIVERSITY

Result: Ohio State 45, Ohio 10

The Buckeyes' defensive speed erases the run and forces third-and-longs all night under the lights at Ohio Stadium. Another efficient outing for Julian Sayi with explosive shots mixed in. Jeremiah Smith starts his Heisman Trophy campaign with multiple touchdown catches.

WEEK 4 - OHIO STATE AT WASHINGTON

Result: Ohio State 31, Washington 17

Despite a long trip and a loud venue, Ohio State's secondary, led by safety Caleb Downs, travels to the Pacific Northwest. The pass rush disrupts enough to keep Washington behind the chains; a patient ground game closes it as the Buckeyes lean on the James Peoples and CJ Donaldson.

WEEK 5 - OHIO STATE VS. MINNESOTA

Result: Ohio State 38, Minnesota 13

The Gophers try to shorten the game, but Ohio State's defensive front limits early-down efficiency and turnovers flip field position. The Buckeye offense plays a comfortable, though not explosive, game to get the win.

WEEK 6 - OHIO STATE AT ILLINOIS

Result: Ohio State 34, Illinois 16

Bret Bielema's offensive and defensive lines make this a muddy game for a half, then Ohio State's depth wins out. Explosive plays from Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate break the game open in the third quarter

WEEK 7 - OHIO STATE AT WISCONSIN

Result: Ohio State 24, Wisconsin 13

It's a classic Camp Randall grinder in mid-October. The Buckeyes' run defense forces the Badgers to chase the game. A couple of play-action chunk gains by Ohio State are the difference.

WEEK 8 - OHIO STATE VS. PENN STATE

Result: Ohio State 27, Penn State 20

A physical, borderline College Football Playoff-tier game again between the Big Ten foes. Quarterback Drew Allar is experienced, but Ohio State's back seven trims explosives and a late red-zone stop preserves the win for the Buckeyes to take control of the Big Ten race to Indianapolis.

WEEK 9 - OHIO STATE AT PURDUE

Result: Ohio State 41, Purdue 17

There's no West Lafayette weirdness this time when the Buckeyes come to town. Ohio State's tempo and balanced offense keep the Boilermakers on their heels. OSU's defensive line overwhelms Purdue's pass protection.

WEEK 10 - OHIO STATE VS. UCLA

Result: Ohio State 37, UCLA 13

UCLA's rebuilding roster struggles with Ohio State's speed and depth. Nico Iamaleava has another rough game at the Shoe. The Buckeyes jump ahead early and rotate players out.

WEEK 11 - OHIO STATE VS. RUTGERS

Result: Ohio State 48, Rutgers 9

It's a mismatch throughout. The early script produces two quick touchdowns for Ohio State and the defense feasts on obvious passing downs against the Scarlet Knights.

WEEK 12 - OHIO STATE AT MICHIGAN

Result: Ohio State 23, Michigan 20

Another fourth-quarter classic. Ohio State's defense forces a key takeaway, and a late, methodical drive sets up the winning kick by Jayden Fielding. The Buckeyes win The Game in Ann Arbor to close the regular season, getting revenge for the last four losses.

REGULAR SEASON RECAP

Record: The only blemish is the Week 1 thriller vs Texas. Otherwise, Ohio State has a steady ascent as Julian Sayi settles in at quarterback and the defense carries a championship profile.

BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - OHIO STATE VS. OREGON (INDIANAPOLIS)

Result: Ohio State 26, Oregon 21

Oregon's speed challenges the edges, but Ohio State wins situational downs (third down and red zone) and steals a possession with a special-teams play. The Buckeyes win their first Big Ten championship since 2020, securing a top-four seed and first-round bye in the 12-team College Football Playoff.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF QUARTERFINAL VS. MISSOURI

Result: Ohio State 34, Missouri 20

Missouri's wide receivers cause the Buckeye defense a problem, but Ohio State's corners plus Caleb Downs contain them enough. Julian Sayin hits explosive shots off play action, and the running backs control the tempo. The Buckeye defense forces two turnovers, and Ohio State pulls away in the fourth quarter.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF SEMIFINAL - OHIO STATE VS. GEORGIA

Result: Ohio State 27, Georgia 24

This is the war everyone expects with two elite defenses on the same field. Georgia's quarterback play steadies in spurts, but Ohio State wins on hidden yardage — punt returns and field position. Julian Sayin shows poise on a late two-minute drive, setting up a game-winning field goal and getting revenge for the 2023 College Football Playoff semifinal.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - OHIO STATE VS. TEXAS

Result: Ohio Stat 30, Texas 27

A rematch of the Week 1 thriller. Arch Manning gets his shots downfield, but Ohio State's adjustments in blitz looks force him into checkdowns. Julian Sayin's comfort and the wide receiver separation show how much the Buckeye offense has grown since August. A balanced attack plus red zone efficiency swings the rematch, and Ohio State takes home a second consecutive national championship for the first time.

Here's a Bucknuts Friday insider post of true fucktardery. They quote @Fud's buddy, Dane Brugler, who is running around spewing his idiotic take that Styles is a better LB prospect than Hill for the NFL. They quote a "random" NFL source to support that take, with "random" being a former OSU person that the Bucknuts staff knows. "Yeah, man, I like the guy with worse stats and less experience to project better at the next level." Okay, then.

Another insider sprints in with the take that Ohio State might even be better! this season and that they have a deeper and better roster than Texas. It's like reading OU boards but with shittier accents.

Spoiler

** The Eyes of Texas … We asked a source close to the Texas program for some of his thoughts going into Saturday’s titanic struggle at Ohio State. Here were some of the replies …

“The left tackle, Trevor Goosby, is a promising sophomore for Texas. He injured his hand during the preseason, but the word is he will tape it up and go play in this game. He is their best offensive lineman. We will see how he can handle the pass rush with that hand bothering him.

“With Arch Manning at quarterback … I talked to David Cutcliffe at the SEC media days. He coached both Peyton and Eli Manning in college. He said, ‘There has never been a quarterback in my lifetime with more pressure and attention on him than Arch Manning.’ You couple that with making his first road start in front of 105,000 people up there, it’s going to be interesting to see how he deals with all of that. They need to get him some easy throws, possibly, early in the game to ease him into it.

“Texas knows about (West Virginia transfer) CJ Donaldson at running back from following him in the Big 12. He is a good football player and he is tough as nails. He is a former tight end who doesn’t shy away from contact. They expect him to see the field a lot, playing in that tandem with James Peoples.

“The receiver Ryan Wingo had a good freshman year. He and Arch were on the second team together last year and have built a good chemistry together. The third receiver, Emmett Mosley, came over after a big first year at Cal. He does not look like he will play due to an ankle injury.

“Texas loves what (former OSU program assistant) LaAllan Clark has brought to coaching the edge rushers. He was Larry Johnson’s assistant there, but he’s done a good job as a full-time assistant at Texas. He’s got the preseason All-American Colin Simmons on one side and Ethan Burke, a guy with an 83-inch wingspan, on the other. We’ll see if those guys can get in there and make life difficult for Julian Sayin.”

Oh, yeah, this one has a ton of intrigue, for sure. Thanks to our good friend in Austin for the 411 on the Longhorns.

** Styles make fights … Did you catch this from NFL Draft Expert Dane Brugler on last Thursday’s BM5? While chatting about Ohio State's top draft-eligible prospects, we assumed Sonny Styles would be the second-highest rated linebacker in Saturday’s game against Texas behind Longhorns standout Anthony Hill, Jr.

Brugler called a quick timeout to inform us he had Styles rated ahead of Hill.

How about that?

We bounced that evaluation off an NFL source and whaddya know, this Brugler guy is on to something.

“Yeah, we do,” the NFL source said when asked if his team’s ‘big board’ had Styles ranked higher than Hill, Jr.

Said NFL source echoed a lot of the sentiment Brugler shared.

“Both guys are big-time,” our source said. “[Styles] has traits that are so off the chart.

“Nothing etched in stone, obviously. [All NFL teams] will have someone [at the Shoe on Saturday]. Check back in with me next week.”

Will do.

** ‘More talented, deeper roster’ … A longtime BH source checked in with – what else – thoughts on tomorrow’s marquee matchup between our Buckeyes and the visitors from Texas.

“I can hardly contain my excitement for Saturday. Not sleeping much this week,” the source said. “A strong argument can be made that despite the departures from last year’s natty team, we still have a more talented, deeper roster than Texas does. It means nothing on Saturday if our play in all phases does not rise to the challenge.

“Which reserve DTs will come of age? How will our new RB tandem, Sonic and Knuckles, uphold the standard Trey and Quinshon maintained a year ago? Can the O-Line dominate and impose their will in Game 1?   Has IGGY put his handsy issues in his rear view? I can’t wait to find out.

“Safeties and LBs need to maintain great eye discipline to find the ball. Texas uses a lot of misdirection schemes to keep defenses off balance and reactive - not in control to spring explosive plays.

“Let’s not underestimate Arch’s speed and athleticism.  I expect RB Wisner to get a lot of touches on wide zone, flare passes, wheel route, check downs, and throwback screens.

“In their throwing game, what concerns me the most are WRs Ryan Wingo, DeAndre More, and Kaliq Locket on glance and double move routes.  I’d take away the middle of the field and make Arch try to beat us with accurate throws to the outside.

“Let’s make special teams special out of the gate. Texas is breaking in two new kickers. It would be great to block a kick and take one to the house.

“The play concept we opened the Rose Bowl with to Gee Scott is one of Sarks' favorites in his playbook, especially in the red zone.

“Julian Sayin, make the routine play, routine. You don’t always have to be perfect. Just win baby. Let’s go!”

I’m not predicting anything, but I *feel* like we are going to overwhelm them. They have arguably the best overall college player this season in Smith but for the first time in a long time the rest of the team is lacking. He can’t do it alone. I also kind of hope Devin Sanchez gets an (inconsequential) pick at somepoint, I’ve followed his career a while and it would be cool to see him announce himself in such a big game. Hopefully Arch can toss it all over the field besides that though.

That was absolute drivel. They check in with Chip Brown who tells them that our LT can't block, Arch is scared, their Big 12 running back room is actually as good as the two NFL players and we'll be lucky to score a point. The insider who said the OSU roster might be deeper should be checked into a fuckin mental institution. They lost 14 guys to the draft! All the key contributors on this year's team were on that team last year!

Just back from a client meeting where he said "I feel worried about the game experience - I'll be there tomorrow."  I said "oh I think you'll be fine - when do you leave?"  Him: "tomorrow morning."  Me: "....isn't the game at 11? What time is the flight?"  Him: "oh a buddy decided to fly out so I'm just going to hitch a ride. Only a two-hour flight so we should have plenty of time."

Must be nice, bro.

Anyway, can confirm you'll have at least 1 or 2 fans in attendance.

Wouldn’t expect much out of Livingstone or my Sanchez INT pipe dream honestly. Michigan laid the formula down the past few years, to beat Ohio State you run it into their teeth and then run it again and again until they submit. Is Sark smart/confident enough to try that this time? I don’t know that we had the personnel or matchups last year for it but I think we do now.

They’re really not confident by all the dumb shit they’re posting to act like their roster is amazing, Sayin is better than Arch, etc. Acting like it’s Texas State they’re playing tomorrow.

they are gonna get punched in the mouth and it won’t be as close as people think

The ol' Jags vs Spencer Shannon debate.

I've talked a little about what some folks who've been to the practices think we're going to see tomorrow. Sarkisian has the personnel in the RB room to go with 21 a lot. He likes the shit he can do in that scheme, we've seen this before. They also think Shannon can block in-line, which isn't nothing. Can Shannon block effectively? I need to see it to believe it, but playing him for that is no different than playing a guy who has never caught a pass in a game instead of him.

Breaking character on this for a second, but rationally, if Wingo, Moore and Endries are your top 3 targets, and the collection of playable RBs is your 4th target, how important is the 3rd WR going to be for this particular game plan?

I'm not saying McJaggerson won't play or won't be targeted. I'm sure we'll see some of that. I also don't think folks are being very critical in their thinking on this heading into tomorrow because it's a lot more fun to imagine one of Alan Jackson's bastard sons long-striding down the field for a whiteboy party in the end zone.

Ohio State fans may be the second biggest cult but they win things and demand performance. Some guy is getting a predictive 2025 National Championship tattoo on Joe Klatt's show. If this were aggy they would do it but would put 20 on it so that they could fill it in later.
