This reminds me of one of my favorite internet listicles of all time. It was titled, "The Eleven Worst Songs of 2004" and as you read, you realized it was all eleven songs off U2's album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.

Well that explains why he sucked so bad as a player.  He's soft as baby shit.

I mean he did throw for like 400 yards almost vs Oklahoma that one year for us….  That was definitely his college career peak.

We can talk missed penalties, if Venables is up for it.

This is a clear late hit out of  bounds with the official staring right at it, TE screen play to Endries.. There are at least two others of these, as the Sooners clearly pushed the envelope of hitting well after the play was over the entire game.

I mean, seriously. The 'missed call' rabbit hole is one that any OU coach in their right mind would try to stay as far away from as possible.

My least favorite U2 album for sure, but no one can call “City of Blinding Lights” a bad song.

Were they numbered uno, dos, tres, catorce?

I do not understand the criticism of Niblett.  After Saturday's game, he's averaging 21.6 yards per punt return.  Even if you take away the 75-yarder, he's averaging more than 14 per return.  And most importantly, he's been pretty surehanded -- no fumbles.  I don't think he's going to make anyone forget about the likes of Jordan Shipley or Aaron Ross, and I'd be the first one to agree that prior to the OU game most of his production had come against inferior competition, but he hasn't been nearly as bad as people on this board make it out to be.

It has been mentioned, but there should be a stat of average negative yards the Longhorns give up when nobler doesn’t just fair catch the ball.

As happy as I am for Tre Wisner, I’m sad for Cedric Baxter. If you remember him from three seasons ago, he was a force and completely fast, elusive and strong as hell. Plus, he’s a really nice person. I am afraid we may never see him reach his former self. I hope he has used his NIL money wisely. He told em that he wanted to start an apparel brand and had even created the logo, which was nice.

More power to him for a full return to his former talent and I wish him health, wealth and success!

Ummm…

Cedric Baxter was a high school senior 3 years ago and I think that he was injured for a large part of that season.

Baxter was injured almost his entire freshman season, but played and was largely ineffective.

Baxter was injured all last season.

Baxter has been largely ineffective since trying to return from injury this season.

There may be a theme here.

While this season is not complete, this is the third season he is on campus. He played for Texas three seasons ago when he started against Bama as a true freshman. He played in the playoff game vs Washington and had 64 yards rushing on 9 carries and 1 TD. More importantly, he's a cool dude and I want him to win. I can't imagine how hard this is for him. He could help the team if he was healthy.
