Lulzy, lulz, lol, lulz at Banks being in the same sentence as Bowman. Banks doesn't suck, mind you, but aggy has never, in their entire recorded history, either their real history or their fantasy one, had a corner who could do 1% of the things Bowman does. Keep dreaming, Chin Pubes, keep dreaming.

You're better than this. Bowman would be very fortunate to have Aaron Glenn's career (minus the JC detour)...and I think Bowman looks great.

We used to see the ranking bumps when Mack was here because he was on players so soon.  Often, to his credit, these players continued to have strong senior years, leading to a rise on their rankings.

Uh, the 2009 - 2014 recruiting classes would like to have a word with you.

Posting this from the football aggy thread but @Fud says Kenyon Green is playing Guard.

 @golfclap @closetojumping

Looks like both according to practice reports, but not a surprise to anyone outside of the ministry.

See the second part of my post:

Ags can't wrap their little heads around this.  Nor could they articulate this seeming "BOMC" when you'd see an initial bump, but overall drop.  Often our overall class rankings dropped from initial offer to NSD; especially towards the end of Mack's tenure.

2020 is going to be an absolutely tremendous rollercoaster. Them being 10-0 and losing their last two games would be so aggy.

Also gotta love how they’ve penciled in @Miss St and @Auburn as automatic wins. You know, because they beta those teams so consistently.

A loss to Vandy because they were so looking ahead to Bama and LSU would be legendary.

They’ll be at peak historic roller coaster going into their Bama game in 2020. When they go from 10-0 (assuming things break their way against Auburn etc) to 10-2, non NYD-6 bowl, lose the usual 4 games in ‘21, etc, they’ll have another “remember ...” moment. Remember that time we almost beat Bama and almost played for a natty— whoop! Sleeping giant back down for another (continuing perpetually from before) snooze.

Hmmm, I think the best outcome to this rollercoaster season would be for them to go 8-4 and then have Jimbo leave to go coach at LSU, and them always say "we would have won a Natty in 2020 with Jimbo"

If they can't make a run in 2020, they never will.

They better pray Mond doesn’t go pro.  Don’t laugh.  It could happen.  He was an IMG mercenary and the nfl is his goal.  A decent year slightly better than last and good chance he bolts.  Fisher is an asshole.

I feel for the posters here actually. They're in a catch 22. Either you don't talk about bag men, or you do and everyone gets banned. Either way, it's as quiet as the Aggy Hall of Champions.

No no, didn't you read? Fresno State, UNT and Colorado (all at home) are going to be "real tests". He wrote it on the internet and everything.

Fresno State has gone 10-4 and 12-2 under Jeff Tedford the last two seasons. They beat Az St in the Vegas Bowl 31-20 this past season, in case you blinked. Sure, they signed a couple of nobodies at QB over the last few years, but hell, the Carrs were nobodies coming out of HS, too.

Colorado will be replacing their QB, but they'll have five on the roster to choose from, four of whom are pretty athletic. They'll have a 2nd year coach, too, so it's possible they will be much better than expected.

And they should just ask Arkansas how well UNT can play.

No, aggy most definitely should not be counting their chickens this early -- especially given that the easier things are, the more likely an aggy is to choke.

UNT is going to graduate a lot after this season.

I can't remember everything from Fresno State, but on ourlads they will return the entire OL that's projected to start this upcoming season, but lose the QB.

Haven't looked at Colorado.  Shenault would probably torch the aggy secondary, but I bet he declares after the season.

Edit:  Looked at the buffs, projected to only start 1 Sr. on defense.

Does anyone remember what happened the last time aggy played a Jeff Tedford team?

since they finally beat LSU last year, they've begun counting all their games against LSU as W's.  Beating LSU has become that easy.
