My money is on Trump forces him to go college wherever he can grift the most money from them to host his Presidential Library.  The facility never gets built and Barron drops out.

Option B would save money.

Imagine losing your ball in the overgrown grass of your mother's grave and asking your caddie/foursome, "Yeah, if I could just get a drop...that'd be fine.  Also the drip."

Yes, by most accounts of folks I know who know him, he was rather estranged from his father for decades.  Their sense is he was offered some kind of "be re-included" for XYZ.  He was peripherally involved in the Trump Org and gameshow, but would often come in and out only for meetings/tapings and then the hell back outta there.

Tiffany was never offered such a deal, and as such-you never see/hear from her.  Eric yearns for his father's affection, but barely gets noticed.  Ivanka is the only one smart enough to see how to exploit his time in office for personal gain and that of her family.  And it absolutely worked, and now she's distanced herself from him.  Probably because he sexually molested her as a child and she needs legal cover.  I'm sure Barron is a nice enough kid, born into a family of absolute shitbags.  He's apparently still deciding between many fine colleges, that thing you do in June instead of March.  My money is on Trump forces him to go college wherever he can grift the most money from them to host his Presidential Library.  The facility never gets built and Barron drops out.

What in the wide, wide world of sports gives you the impression he's a "nice enough kid."

First I’ve heard that. I just know he’ll be an asshole because his whole family are assholes.

My favorite thing about all this, other than the orange shitstain Trump being a convicted felon, is that all these Trumpies are "boycotting" NYC.

Well who's gonna support the employees at the Times Square Olive Garden, Penelope?  You ever think of that?  They can't all brunch at your fancy Chelsea joints.

What, you think Penelope is NOT all-in on "bottomless salad and breadsticks?"  She's a woman who understands living well, and if Olive Garden bottomless salad and breadsticks ain't livin' well....shit, I don't wanna live in that world.

I am not above Olive Garden.  I just wouldn't visit NYC and choose to eat there over all the other great eateries.  But it strikes me as a MAGA stance, "We're boycotting New York, except Olive Garden, Sbarro's, and the forest-themed one with the exotic animal shit on display."

You'd appreciate this as a lawyer who does some real estate work.  Barshop & Oles is still trying to figure out how to keep that Olive Garden involved in the new Brodie Oaks development.  Every other restaurant there is basically dead, other than some Pok-E-Jo's catering (but they can do that from a trailer on the outskirts of town).  But that Olive Garden continues to be one of the Top 10 stores in gross sales in all of Texas.  I really did used to enjoy their salad.

That cheese you could just pump on all your shit, tough to beat.  I'm why they are out of business, I'd get a burger, fries and 6 lbs of cheese, plus any other accouterments.

Fuck.  Yes.  See, my go-to move was to make a big vat of that jalapeno cheese with pico stirred in, then dip your fries in that bad boy.  Fucking gloriousity of the highest order.

And on your burger, jalapenos, pico, and more pumped jalapeno cheese stuff.

They're still around, there's one left in Austin down on Slaughter.  I haven't been in forever, though.

They are all gone in Georgia, pretty much replaced by 5 Guys (home of the $20 burger).  In hindsight, it might have been myopic to tie your company's future to the mall at a time when malls were in fact in the process of dying.

I've been wondering what their deal will be.  I presume it is something like Highball and Alamo when they redid the Alamo S. Lamar center - have to shut down then reopen in a new and improved facility.  But maybe they'll just be allowed to stay there?  The Park was doing just fine, but when the lease was up they were out.

Pretty sure that whole site is getting scraped. so they're either working to get a new spot there or open another somewhere else. my guess is this is the reason they opened PHB so close to the S Lamar location.

by the way, donald trump is still fucking pathetic

Even covering him in delicious Fuddruckers jalapeno cheese sauce would not improve him.

Yeah, didn't mean to pick on Pinthouse.  It's done very well.  It's just that's literally the first area set for demolition.  Olive Garden may actually endure because it's at the edge of the whole complex and can be worked in still for NNN revenue.  But stuff like Texican Cafe, Poke-E-Jo's, that chinese place (which we order from every year on Christmas Day),  nd a few others...they're on the earliest of the chopping block.

THE ART OF FOLLOWING DONALD TRUMP’S POLICIES

Q: How do we know what to do?

A: Just go with the last thing that he said!

Yeah 5 Guys is a tad high, but you can get handfuls of peanuts and sweep the shells and dust all around you to create a protective cloud that make all those special-ass young families avoid you.

What’s the saying, “every accusation is a confession”?   He never fails to find a new way to use the word ‘Swamp’.   When he has perpetual swamp-ass.  A crack filled with old shit, orange tanning fluid, bits of old diaper, sweat, and half a classified document.

I spent the last two New Year's Eve at that Olive Garden in Times Square.  It is actually a whole lot of fun, and endless salad and breadsticks are not bad.  I should call my friend and one random day for lunch we should do that for lunch...with Rose.  Cause it is summer.

Somebody told him how many olds vote by mail.  I’ll be saving this for the next time somebody bitches about mail in voting, and I can ask them why they hate Donald Trump, because if he says it’s secure, I believe him!

Yeah, I always felt like that didn't get enough national coverage.  It's basically a lake with no current/tide.  There's another photo of a guy jumping off a jet ski with a drowning woman in the foreground.  And the drunk dude is clearly swimming towards the flag that fell of his Sea-Doo instead of trying to help the lady in peril.  Perfect imagery for Trump's approach to females suffering.  But I guess it's local bias.

When we used to have an office in Lakeway, there was a boat dealer out there that at least gave it the old college try.  He had a line of I think it was Boston Whalers or Regals.  And he'd have like 5 of 'em outside.  And like Ford did with Eddie Bauer or King Ranch...they were decked out already with a "trump" package with MAGA flags and shit already pre-painted on the side and the center console was painted gold.  And some other goofy shit.  This was after the Lake Travis debacle but I wonder if he ever moved any of that product.

Remember the movie "Carlito's Way" where Sean Penn and Al Pacino take Penn's big boat out to rescue that felon (IIRC it was Riker's).  There's gotta be a sequel in here somewhere which also ends in the felon drowning.

There used to be a fuddruckers, a pluckers, and a shuck ‘n jive in the same center on north Greenville in big D.

Shuck N Jive was and remains across the street.  Also a Texadelphia, which I think still remains.  Shake Shack in its place.

Friend of mine chowed down on crawfish and a few oysters at Shuck N Jive one night and then proceeded to shart himself at Stan's Blue Note on a very crowded night.
