Officer pulls another off a suspect... gets choked and shoved against car

Wow. First cop (complete with "Don't Tread on Me" tattoo) seems to be going after an arrested suspect in back of a car with pepper spray. Second cop (female) pulls him back and ends up getting choked and pushed against a car. Cops 3-5 seem to do... nothing?

Do you think they're Oakleys? Or knockoff Oakleys?

We're missing a huge business opportunity by not making some kinda Oakley-looking sunglass brand here in the United States to sell to stupid people.  They can be even cheaper and and crappier than regular Oakleys.  Because it's all in the marketing.  Once "true Patriots!" find out that Oakley is just another brand owned by an overseas corporation that gives zero fucks about America...they'll come over to our side.  And what did Oakley used to do brilliantly that they no longer do since being acquired by Luxxotica?  Rear windshield stickers.  Remember those?  The flexing cartoon guy?  The Thermonuclear Protection sticker ?

All you need to do is still have the same hate-filled dipshits filming themselves in their trucks with their Oakley knockoffs on.  But we also feature a brand sticker on their window which is in the field of view the whole time they're filming.  It'd be like the viral equivalent of YETI but with more racism and lies.

Lol. The cop that put his hand on the neck of his fellow officer before shoving her is a SUPERVISOR.

He looked completely comfortable putting his hand on the neck of another officer and shoving them.

True, most officers aren't that bad, they're more like the three who stood and watched and did nothing about Pullease's actions either toward the arrested individual or his fellow officer. So heroes.

That I can agree with. At least the lady cop had some balls.

Odds are that this guy won't last much longer on that city's police force and he will soon be hired by another Florida city or county.

It would be interesting to know if this was a trend with this guy, or did he just snap. I'm sure that adrenaline can rise if you're physically having to subdue a suspect. It doesn't excuse anything and he most likely should be demoted if not fired. But I'm willing to hear more.

Our cops are not robocops that can keep emotion and adrenaline out of the equation

This.

Cop 1 MIGHT face consequences....he'll be hired immediately by another PD.

Cop 2 (who acted to stop him) is done as a cop.  She committed the one unforgivable sin -- she acted against a fellow cop.  No matter how badly the fellow cop is acting, you do NOT act against him.  That violates the gang's code.  She will be drummed out.

Cops 3-5 are the typical cops.  They are heroes to protect us....unless the bad actor is a fellow cop, in which case they choose  to follow the code instead of protect the public.  They are a necessary element in cops like cop 1 being a problem.

This will play out like all such bad cop situations: the only one who will really suffer long-term is cop 2.

Caveat -- it might take a year.

But she will not be a welcome member of that PD, long-term.  She broke the code.  It is the one unforgivable offense, and even you know it.

OK Chris Dorner, 1 year it is.  Yes, humans have an inclination to protect their peers.  She didn't exact uncover a drug smuggling ring here.

You send free pairs to every SEALs team and become “The Preferred Tactical Eyewear of the Navy SEALs” and the money will flow from patriots like your ass after a 2am Taco Bell party pack.

I like where this business model is headed.

(fade into close-up of sunglass wearing spokesperson in back-the-blue shirt in F350 with patriotic window stickers abound).........

"Fellow Patriots!  I'm coming to you with a fantastic offer.  Do you know what our fellow liberty fighters wore into the Capitol to preserve democracy?  Different folks wore different masks, vests, and shoes...but they all had one thing in common!  As glass shards flew, tear gas spread, punches thrown, flash bangs tossed, and mace deployed...one brand of eyewear kept our brothers and sisters safe in their fight against tyranny and oppression (takes sunglasses off and points to them on-screen).  Get yourself a pair or two of these bad-boys!  Be your own free individual like God intended...and order now...better than Oakley...it's COAXLEY sunglasses.  When you're sick of being told what to think, what to say, what to do, and what to wear...don't be OAK'd, GET COAX'd!  Order now, $99.95 per pair, $149.95 for 2.  COAXLEY sunglasses, 100% American owned, 0% irony...whatever the fuck that queer word means.  Get 'em for the battles they've won...and for the ones we've yet to fight!  Law enforcement discounts do apply, and orders placed within the next hour will receive a free sticker for your truck window or tact vest...call now!"

who's the "good" cop in this scenario? she did the right thing by society but did the unspeakable by turning against her own, or at least that's how the gang will see it.

Did she help that cop get safely home to his family?  He's now on desk duty, so clearly she didn't help him.

Seriously, you spend a lifetime studying at good schools and applying yourself honestly in business to come up with better offerings to the public and/or investors.

And then, for fun, you bullshit around with other sarcastic assholes about dumb shit you can sell stupid people as a goof.

And then you realize other stupid people are already doing it at twice the price of your dumb joke.

Our prize failure, a lack of imagination.  It's not just enough to be stupid anymore, you gotta accessorize that shit yo'!

"Most stupid people don't coordinate!  See, you got to coordinate!  When you saw me, you just saw the Pit Viper sunglasses?"

Marcus, "Yes that's what you did.  Saw the sunglasses."

"Nah, you got to keep going (shows belt)."

Marcus, "Billy Ray, did you know your father had on a Pit Viper belt?"

"But you can't stop there (opens jacket)."

Marcus, "Billy Ray, did you know on the inside of your dad's jacket was special Pit Vipers!?!?"

From the original news article in the OP....

Quote

In an interview with local TV station, [Police Chief] Rosa was asked why Pullease hasn't already been charged in the three months since the incident, with a reporter pointing out that any civilian who put their hands on an officer's throat would face charges.

'So there's some details of the investigation that I've not disclosed, that I'm unable to disclose right now, and if any of the information that comes up during the investigation rises to a level of criminal behavior or criminal conduct, then we'll address it appropriately,' Rosa responded.

This right here is the biggest pile of horseshit in the entire story...

any civilian accused of this,  even one that claimed it was a "misunderstanding" and didnt realize it was a cop he was choking, would have been facing felony aggravated assault of a police officer.  And they sure as fuck wouldn't be sitting at home after that arrest.  They would be sitting in fucking jail, with either a massive unpayable bail amount or no bail at all.

yet this asshat of a Chief claims they are still investigating the clear as day video.   Like what in the holy fuck needs investigating to not even charge his ass by now?   are you gonna claim that the female officer was trying to fuck him before or after the camera turned off?

It’s disturbing how true this is, is not hyperbole at all, and may even be exaggerated somewhat as Cop 1 is unlikely to face much of any consequences at all.

Yep.
Wilco Sheriff Chody hired a couple of shady deputies (One from Bastrop) that should’ve had their LEO credentials revoked long ago.

Told y'all.

I stand by my prediction.  But I'll tell ya, I didn't see that analog to the abusive husband/boyfriend play.  As in "I know it's not good that I beat you senseless and gave you two black eyes.....it's just this war and that lying sonofabitch Johnson!"  And here, it's "I know it looks bad that he choked a fellow officer....it's just those damned criminal negroes and George Floyd!"

Chef's kiss.  This really is the perfect police department.
