This rang a bell:

Bring it on you degenerate freak.

While we're at it, c'mon out of hiding TTom, you crazy motherfucker. Where's my reckoning? You've been promising it for damned near a goddamned decade.

I'm gonna see if I can drink more scotch tonight than I did on election night 2016.

SO MANY GREATS WORE 34.

Let's all remember - that picture was before Jerry Gray caught him from behind and separated his shoulder, knocking him from that game.

I’ve killed a fifth of rye and helped the wife kill 2 bottles of champagne. Had some Waygu steaks for dinner. It’s fucking celebrating time. Drink up my friend. Have 3 for me.

You are the circle jerk expert. Can I get some gummies instead of meth though?

Kind of a mixed bag for the jurors; you walk into a bar and you half a chance of being killed and an equal chance of never buying another round for the rest of your life.

Either way you're set.

Appeals work in criminal cases all the time. However, as you note there are no constitutional issues for SCOTUS or any other federal court. And other than the jury instructions or possibly evidentiary rulings, there just isn't much to appeal here. The law seems settled on this in NY and Merchan played it very straight at every turn. Pretty impressive judge really. I don't recall Trumpco really raising any controversial issues in regard to jury instructions or evidence.

Yeah.  Merchan did well.  To quote @Brisketexan, he started protecting the record early on.  The appeal likely will go nowhere.

Hah, I just noticed that was against Texas. Still a solid contribution to the #34 list.

The strongest

Straight out of central casting. It is a seriously strong list though. As much as I love Ricky he is no better than #5 on that list, Earl, Nolan, Hakeem, and Walter all have to be ahead. Herschel is in last place on that list for being a dipshit but that still isn't a bad last place.

Everyone does realize he won’t see a day of jail, right? Pundits have already confirmed that a first time, lowest level felony, will not lead to jail time. There really is no damage for him, other than the title of felon. Which is nice.

It would be hilarious for him to have a PO and have to ask permission to travel.

Great, no jail time for the first one. 33 more to go.

Now this is not the end.  It's not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Actually they did confirm he will have one, and he has to meet with them next.

I do not think my X account will survive the night.  My infinite number of monkeys pets have hacked it and are posting truly terrible things on it about Trump and his fans.

Just as a lawyer—and a pretty fucking drunk one just now—I cannot tell you how vindicated I feel for our entire system, particularly when we have the likes of Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas at the top of it.

Proverbs 21:15: “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.“

the problem has never been getting a majority of people to agree that Trump is a criminal unfit for office. The problem has been that a minority of people have rigged the system to give themselves enough power to keep Trump around. It's legitimately terrific that Trump is a felon, but it won't mean shit until he's gone from this mortal realm for good.

you know there are more trials coming, right? He's got a couple of much more serious trials coming, and if he's found guilty of those, he doesn't get "first time offender" status anymore. The next time he's found guilty, he's *FUCKED* because of today.

So you’ve been a Christian fascist and theocrat since college. My great uncle (and thousands of American GIs) kicked the ass of tough guy fascists like you up the coast of Italy to Rome. Your great uncle or granddad might have, too.

Your band of idiot world tough guys might well win in November. Enjoy licking the CR tears. I fear for women, people of color, LGBTQIA, educators, doctors, scientists, and many others in your Christian fascist hellscape.

But just remember Trump/Buchanan are no different and no better than Mussolini …. and you are no different and no better than any of Mussolini’s bootlicking fascists … and … sooner or later … your gang will eventually meet the same fate as those in Italy.

History is quite fond of repeating itself.

Isn’t that Icono? Tailored jerseys and fantasies about shooting people at the border. Thats who you’re arguing with lol

I posted this up thread, but Conway who was on record saying Trump going to be convicted disagrees.

You better go talk to Brat first.   He was saying the exact same things for years, but now he can’t even find his Whig registration card.
