Now I’m wondering if I should just switch my flight to LGA instead of Newark here in a few weeks. Newark is a shit show but I feel in a few weeks every airport will be a shit show

Fly into Providence and take the train.

I think the enlisted ranks are full of MAGA.  It’s going to be up to the officer corps to contain the madness, and the purge of the ranks of generals has begun.

No. Watch the upper NCO group. They will tell LT/Cpt what to do.

JFC, like none of you have studied Coup 101. Was taught by Professor Dulles.

Why would anyone think Frank Sinatra would be a Trump supporter?

They assume everyone who is white and doesn't have green hair supports Trump.

I find it sorta ironically funny that Trump was railing about American contributions to WW1 when he's meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister today.  I mean, they literally had to invent the Geneva Convention because the Canadians went full barbarian during WW1.  Battles of Vimy Ridge and Passchendaele out front should told ya.

Why haven’t the media reported about this? The MAGAts must have a short memory because it wasn’t that long ago that they were celebrating Judge Kascmaryk’s attempt to enjoin the FDA’s approval of mifepristone:

  • The No Rogue Rulings Act (H.R. 1526):
This bill, authored by Rep. Issa, aims to restrict the scope of federal injunctions, particularly those issued by district court judges.

  • Purpose:
NORRA seeks to prevent a single district court judge from issuing nationwide injunctions that halt executive actions or challenge national policies.

  • Rationale:
Supporters argue that a single district court judge should not have the power to direct national policy. They believe that such power should be reserved for the democratically elected branches of government, Congress and the President.

  • Impact:
The bill would require a three-judge panel to issue a nationwide injunction in cases where two or more states in different judicial districts challenge an executive action.

  • Potential for Stalemate:
The bill is likely to face opposition in the Senate, where a Democratic filibuster could block it

That's not a completey horrible idea.  It's probably better than SCOTUS ruling that a district judge can only bind the district, state, or Circuit in which s/he sits.

At one time, constitutional questions were almost always heard by a three-judge panel at the trial level.

You know the US has become a shit hole of the highest order when a major celebrity, who is a citizen by birth, feels safer in Medellin, Colombia than anywhere in the US

I feel much more safer in Many parts of Mexico than the US and I'm a white straight male.  Oh wait it's also safer in Mexico to be gay or female than the US.

I’m a JFK Truther- with the LIRR from Jamaica going to Grand Central it’s <1 hour gate to midtown no matter the traffic and weather.

My man i totally agree. Newark sucks, it used to suck but it still sucks too.

Jfk all the way. That's is not the same since the Lufthansa Hiest.

La Guardia has been recently renovated and it's "nice". I like small airports like SJC vs SFO if I'm getting a car.  But in New York I'm taking public transportation, it's part of the experience and it's efficient. Long ass Uber ride to Manhattan during rush hour sucked balls and was pricey.

Kinda odd you can go all over the place by train quickly, the beach, Boston, Philly but not a nearby airport. Caught me by surprise.

We never took credit for winning two world wars?  You sure, fat man?

Because I was damn sure taught that we liberated France and won WWII.  The Soviets and Brits were supporting cast in the narrative.  Nevermind the Battle of Britain, and nevermind the 27 million Soviets who died, or the fact that they turned back Operation Barbarossa, reversing the Nazi fortunes and eventually taking Berlin themselves.  Those were barely mentioned, because Murka won WWII, per every high school in this country, as far as I know.

Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying that we didn't play a crucial role.

But this fool is actually saying that we haven't overstated our role enough yet, which might be the most Trumpiest thing ever.

The combination of stupidity and outright lies is fucking staggering.

I just visited Alcatraz for the first time last summer, so this hits close to home.

I also imagine it would be more cost effective to renovate and expand a 175 year old stone prison built on a rock in the middle of a bay in the most expensive city in America than it would be to (for instance) expand some federal prison in Bumfuck, Mississippi.

It’s pure, unchecked oppositional defiance disorder.
“Does it hurt people? Does it hurt America? Then let’s do that!”
It’s not any more complicated than that.

And as a reminder, half this fucking country thinks that’s awesome. We’re shooting our self repeatedly…and they cheer it on.
