The stands are full of people with the same last name and each of them brought Uncle Dad to the game.

I remember when the DOJ was going to prosecute to the fullest extent possible anyone who vandalized a Tesla or Tesla location.  Even invoking domestic terrorism.

Now, I'm pretty sure that Trump himself will encourage MAGA to go firebomb the buildings, with full pardons if needed.

The swelled ranks of Proud Boys will set fire to them and roll them into the police barricades to seize the Capitol. Fine people.

Do you all think these LEF memes and shit are real people?  I mean, I know a decent number of Trump voters of varying income/education/intelligence levels, and none of them are regretting their vote.

How many of them have been personally affected? That's all that reaches most of them. Something that directly causes them pain. Losing their job/insurance/ something bad happening to their kid(s).

Here's the thing about "it's funny to piss off the liberals, sweet liberal tears" reasoning that so many of these fuckers employed.

WHY does this shitbaggery "piss off liberals?"

It's NOT because liberals are pissed about losing things for THEMSELVES.  It is LITERALLY because "liberals" are concerned about how these policies affect everyone, INCLUDING "MAGA Lady Suzanne."  I don't fucking depend on Medicaid, I almost certainly never will.  Medicaid evaporating doesn't directly affect me personally, not in the slightest.  But....it would hurt millions of my neighbors and countrymen, and I don't want that to happen to them.

So, the idiocy of MAGA choosing a path of "I like to piss off group X, which cares about other people, by voting for policies that will hurt 'other people'" is so perfectly stupid, and the absolute bullseye capture of our times.

Exactly.  I see no epiphanies happening among Trump voters like these memes present.  Medicaid cuts haven't happened yet, so no one is feeling the pain.  The Trump voters I know are happy with how he's running things, are fully convinced we're in the start of his promised Golden age and remain relieved that Kamala didn't win.  So I question whether anything in this thread that is presented as regret is real or indicative of any real movement in the minds of his voters.

I don’t see this at all. We must be in different industries.

I hear comments about how it’s impossible to plan with tariffs looming/shifting. I’ve heard this directly from our CEO and from a guy several offices over that was walking around and promoting tucker carlson and joe rogan.

The backlash about selling public lands was heard by congress and pulled out of BBB. This doesn’t happen if everyone is pleased with everything.

Yeah my clients that are all involved in manufacturing to a greater or lesser extent, and therefor on imported goods, much from China, have been tearing their hair out.

I know of one that is a for-sure Trump voter and I gather he thinks he's fighting some kind of righteous war.  Weirdly, he asked me if I could do an exclusive distribution agreement for a Chinese product.  I suppose if it's exclusive then a 20-140% add-on is immaterial, but he's probably competing with something/someone.

It’s more that I live in rural America and the people around me that I’m talking about, none of them are involved in a work context like you describe.  They are rural, blue collar types, and they are as happy as a maggot in a warm pile of bullshit.

Before 2026 is over I guarantee many of them will be negatively affected. However most of them won't change their votes because they are fucking idiots.

That post may be fake but there’s likely 10,000+ people that are living that reality right now.

T1D here with retinopathy. I have nightmares about losing my vision. It’s going to happen. It’s a question of when.

A T1D girl I went to high school with lost her vision in her twenties and died at 30.

This right here.  The leopards will eat their face, and they'll be happy, because leopards are eating everyone's faces.

This.  Between 1) being happy because other people are suffering, and that's the most important thing to them -- hurting other people, and 2) finding a way to blame Biden and Obama for whatever ill befalls them, they'll lose not .00000000001% of their enthusiasm for Trump and Trumpism.

I believe that. Trump's core - working class and rural whites - see gas prices lower, immigration slowing to a trickle, and all of the dangerous brown people being rounded up and sent away. They devour the propaganda being spilled by Fox News and think everything's just peachy.

They don’t see that. Fox News tells them that. None of it is actually occurring. Maybe that’s what you meant.

Well I guess brown people are being sent away

I’m certain that Foxnews is pushing the narrative that LA is full scale riots and cities are overwhelmed by liberal protests.

That would give the rurals a randy marsh every evening after dinner.

Once upon a time there was a streamer who made mad cash streaming…

He didn’t understand federal taxes. At all. Not even a little bit.

Lacy the streamer likes money. Lacy the streamer makes money. Good for him.

Lacy the streamer does not like the government taking his money. Donnie2Dolls gets his support because money.

It’s actually impossible to explain to Lacy the streamer that it’s D2D’s tax code. Trying to explain it to your dog would achieve the same level of success.

Lacy orders a new exhaust system. Streaming happens.

Some of these people were likely visiting their doctors who explained to them what the bill means for future care. They're not reading newspapers or watching anything other than FOX NEWS, they will learn the truth from alternative sources. The realization will be only a trickle.

Trump will blame Hillary or Obama. The idiots will bite.
