Thanks for posting. I’m not a religious person, but his words brought a tear to my eye.

(Paraphrasing) “All of humanity are God’s children” tracks with the Christianity (and I am certain this belief is not limited to Christianity) with which I am familiar, growing up in the Dallas area. I, too, have left organized religion behind, but hearing condemnation about the whole of Christianity, due to justifiable outrage at some who claim to be Christian, has been heartbreaking.

I was in Oregon last week and saw a setup like this with a big sign that said "END MAIL-IN VOTING NOW!"  There were like 3 people there, and they had some stupid meme signs with Kotek on them, like she's some horrible villain. They really are brainwashed to think that mail-in voting is all fraudulent.

Got an email from local organizer of our protest, said about 1200 in attendance and not a speck of trash left behind.

Workers rake trash outside State Farm Stadium, as a memorial service for slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk takes place, in Glendale, Arizona, September 21, 2025.

Thanks so much for sharing this and showing up. I'm happy for any American showing up yesterday wherever, but it's a little bit easier for people in libbed up cities like Austin, SF, Chicago, Seattle, Portland etc to hit the streets in protest than it is for people in little towns in deep red parts of Texas where you really stand out to your townfolk. That takes a lot of give-a-shit-ness and these people deserve every high five possible. Honestly hits me right in the feels.

My wife is from Navasota and was very happy to see these pics too.

I grew up a Cowboys fan, and my father took me to see several game a year. Which explains why I am watching the Cowboys play the Commanders. The local Fox station aired a plug for their news program by stating several No Kings protests “got out of hand.” The plug worked. I’ll be watching to see if they can back up that statement with fact.

If they don’t, I’ll be open to ideas to legally fuck up their shit.

This was also Denver - somewhat lovely video of a magat trying to instigate and then disliking the result.

Dude flew to Denver, drops slurs on video, got his glasses stolen, busted his face open, went viral, then watched his Giants give up 33 4th quarter points to lose 33-32 to the Broncos.  Enjoy that flight home, don't come back.
