It is just a grade from someone. I always love when people get upset about things like this. You take it as a data point, not gospel. Yours eyes should tell you that the RT for Florida has struggled, PFF backs it up. People just like to bitch about anything.

I mean, respect is earned. Blow 'em out and you earn it. The offense struggles again and...well it'll just keep going.

I hope our defense gets the first crack at the field on Saturday,

Maybe Sark wins the toss and chooses defense so gata starts each half with the ball.

This is a game we win running away with Ewers

I think you mean "going away" and Quinn wasn't very good on the road last season outside of Michigan.

Texas will lose this game and it won’t be because of the defensive effort/performance. I predict more INTs than completions.

The offensive struggles were mostly due to Arch. Something fucked with his head to have the kind of WTF performances he had in the first 3 games. I thought after a shaky start he settled down in the last game and played like we know he was capable of. Hope he continues his growth in the coming weeks. Curious to see how he handles the pressure on the road.

I think the OTF crew were the first people to bring it up this morning but i just saw it mentioned again.

The forecast is calling for wind gusts up to 30 MPH on Saturday. That might be more impactful than any rain.

Ok but...Arch is still your QB and the last game was against a winless SHSU team. Every QB that has faced SHSU has lit them up so far. No one is going to give you any points for that, at least on the offensive side. It's absurd to expect otherwise. From what I've seen, everyone recognizes the defense is legit. That respect was earned in game 1. Ohio State's offense isn't the best, but it's still Ohio State and it was in the Shoe. Until you put up a good offensive showing against a P4 team, no one in sports media is going to give the offense or Arch any respect, that's just how it works.

And like homie said, just win. The respect will come. Even if you only score 17-21 points in the Swamp, as long as Arch doesn't look like shit and commit a bunch of turnovers, people will notice. Florida is a disaster on offense but they do have a legit defense and a steady performance will do wonders.

Doesn't matter how we win, let's just win .

Gonna need the run game to win this game.  Florida will also be forced to run the game more, which may actually help them turn down the stupidity of Sun Belt Billy and DJ Jagway

Mosley was supposedly practicing last week and looked great (9.95).

And more supposedly, Wisner could have played in any of the last three games if we actually needed him to, but he's questionable for this one?

If I am remembering last season correctly, the people that Sark put in questionable on Wednesday always seemed to be playing on Saturday

He upgraded guys to probable as the week went on several times last year.

FCB said earlier today he was hearing Wisner would play but may not start. Sounds like he could be on a pitch count.

I'll be very surprised if Wisner doesn't play. We need him this week.

If we’re just going to revert back to being a zone running team, why not kick Cole back out to LG? Robertson is serviceable with decent size. You’re not going to maul people, but it may be better group. Cruz even looked solid against SHSU.

I hope he's locating his curve well on Saturday. It's nasty when it's working.

Arch prepared for this exact scenario in the first three games by throwing the ball such that a 30 mph wind gust will blow the ball into the receiver’s hands.

I was hoping Baxter would be "questionable" rather than "doubtful".

Doesn't bode well for his availability for Red River

Hamstrings are rarely 2-3 week type injuries with no lingering impact. Hell, Wisner has had 4+ weeks at this point and still doesn’t sound 100%.

Hopefully Baxter can work his way back at some point. You can’t control what happened to his knee in a practice setting last year, but he hasn’t exactly been the definition of durable going back to his freshman season. He needs some positive momentum.

Maybe Florida isn't a sleeping giant that is just waiting for us to give them a little bit of hope to unlock the 5-star, Top 15 talent that they have all over the field but couldn't unlock themselves without the generous help of By Gawd UT.

Maybe we play a bit conservative, Arch throws for one and runs for one, has a solid, if unspectacular game, and the defense strangles their ass and makes them execute play after play as they try to slog their way to 3 points each drive. I trust Taaffe in center field if they want to go deep. I trust Pete K will be just fine taking away the deep ball and insisting they try to nickel and dime their way down the field. It's kinda what our Defense excels at.

20-13 Texas. Leave Florida with a win and prepare for a better matchup with a healthier WR and RB room ready to unleash some wrinkles.

would buy for a dollar
