It'll be great when he punches Sark's lights out.

Good times.

Yeah what he does to us probably won't feel very good.

Fuck, I don't like this move at all. The only time PK's defense really struggled was when the offense had multiple consecutive 3 and outs.

i loved PK but this is not true.  the first two drives of the game this year, Georgia carved our defense up.

This is stupid and does nothing to improve our shitty ass OL.

Perhaps Sark wanted a more aggressive DC that blitzed more. But PK was the best coach on his staff.

Wife thinks this is transition prep for Sark to bail and we got interim waiting-in-wings. I can't explain it any other way. AND WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

Like was this a CDC or else move....

Sark is 100% on a pip. Almost no coach survives a pip. This is a when not if type of change.

I’m so conflicted on this. I was apoplectic when Muschamp left the first time. Now I don’t know what’s going on. PK did a great job here once he had his system in place. Fell off a bit at the end of this year in the secondary, but I can’t imagine that earned a firing. Welp, here we go Muschamp!

Seriously. Let's address everything possible other than the single biggest, most obvious fucking problem on this team.

Yeah, slow starts and about 50/50 in the backfield.  Pretty pretty good front seven though.

He was basically Georgia's DC in 2022 and 2023. He allegedly took a step back to spend time with family.

And has since discovered that he doesn't really like his family...

So much for Sark’s preaching about “continuity” on staff.

Continuous change is still continuity.

Man, PK gone ... replaced by Muschamp?

FML. _iaz not available? I get that some of y'all liked Muschamp's tough guy talk bullshit, but PK is miles better. Un fucking real. Fuck you, Sark.

At what point did the programmers of the simulation hit the "bizarro world" button?

Miles better? I like PK, but that's ridiculous. Muschamp has been an elite defensive coordinator.

OK, I'm pissed, so maybe that was an exaggeration, but he literally just let go the best coach on a staff with multiple guys that have underperformed and need to go.

When coaches fire the wrong people on their staff, it is a very bad sign.

Something is very wrong behind the scenes.

Or maybe the other coaches are still waiting to be fired. RB was first. Now PK and Akina. Maybe Flood next week or after the bowl game. Relax.

Are we sure he was fired and it’s wasn’t that PK wanted to go to Oregon or somewhere else in PAC NW?

Both big changes have come with quick announcements of the new coach. Perhaps we are waiting someone out who is in the CFP. People really need to go outside or something

I get it. I'm shocked too. I think Muschamp is good hire. I don't like the look if PK was fired, but if it was mutual because PK wanted to move back west, then it is a great replacement. I'm assuming (hoping?) that we aren't done with staff changes. I also suppose Muschamp might have connections with a very good offensive line coach whose line has mauled us recently...

Y'all are talking shit on _iaz but I will NEVER forgive PK for calling a 2-DL "Nascar" package on 4th and short against Ohio State with a mobile QB.  That's that bullshit Manny was doing here a decade ago. At least I know Muschamp will unleash hell instead of pretty package shit.

We do need some coaches for the bowl game….

That's cool and I hope you're right. It just doesn't inspire a lot of confidence when we fire a coach that doesn't need firing.

Watching Muschamp go nuts on the sidelines is fucking awesome. I can’t wait.

No, it’s not awesome, it’s fucking embarrassing.  It was embarrassing everytime it happened here before.
You think it’s great to see that clown for the LSU WBB team make an ass of herself on the bench?  Goes for any coach that wants to act like a dickhead they need to keep it in the locker room.

This fucking can’t be real.

PK was probably the best coach on the team

ETA: I love BOOM and I wish he had taken over after Mack.

that said, I don’t get firing PK. Again, likely the best coach on the team. Definitely coached the best unit on the team for the past 3 seasons.

I hope you're right and PK just left of his own accord, but when someone at that level leaves on their own, they usually make an announcement and the public doesn't find out from the university that they were just 'not retained'. Who knows ...

Wow. Out of the moves I thought might happen, I didn't see PK getting blown out happening. Maybe Sark is waiting on Flood as I don't know how you let that OL after 4 years of Flood not be anything other than an indictment on Flood.

Crazy.

If it was mutual it wouldn’t be getting reported he was fired. So even though I love the muschamp hire I do not understand why PK would be fired.

It is also being reported it was mutual 🤯
