Русский корабль - иди нахуй

Bakhmut - hell? So. There is almost nothing left of the earthly here. The landings, or rather what remained of them, are generously strewn with Russian corpses. Fields dug up by shells. 93 paid a lot for this land, unfortunately, for many residents of Holodoyariv, this plot turned out to be the last.

There are more and more numbers in the phone that will never pick up the phone again. Such are the realities, such is the price of a free city.

Separately, I want to thank the various types of touring artists who come to Bakhmut to tell that the city is heroically defending itself!
Guys, we wouldn't have survived without you, thank you!

To be fair it wasn't the Macedonians' first tour in Afghanistan.

Not forgotten. It was one reason they could move around a bit more freely. We used a Macedonian moat in Helmand as a range.

Check out the Afghan Campaign if you want a good read about the Mac's. Damn fine troops. Always there when called.

But the northern macadonians have nothing to do with Alexander the Great

That picture took me back down memory lane to working at a convenience store in Selma Alabama on Jeff Davis Avenue* next to the Food Stamp Office, and selling TBird to kindly gentlemen who would pay with handfuls of pennies. I soon learned not to bother counting the pennies; the amount was always exact. Thunderbird was only one of our fine wines. I remember Night Train Express, and Bull's Head Scuppernong Wine. There are associated stories untold.

*since renamed.

The doors to the mission open at seven
And the soup will be ready about nine
Right now it's six-thirty, they're ragged and dirty
They're standin' and sittin' and layin' in line

First they'll do a little singin', then hear a little preachin'
And get saved for the 3rd time this week
A bowl of soup later and a pat on the shoulder
And by midnight, they're back on the street

They walk to the corner of 4th street and Broadway
Then take the first alley on the right
One of them asks a stranger, "How 'bout a hand"?
And he gives 'em one finger at a time

Then they spot an old buddy with a bottle of heaven
Then pass around what means everything
One bottle for four, thank God, someone scored
And now the midnight choir starts to sing

Will they have Mogen David in Heaven?
Dear Lord, we'd all like to know
Will they have Mogen David in Heaven, sweet Jesus?
If they don't, who the hell wants to go?

Yeah we have no trouble with American law enforcement stealing money and property by Civil Forfeiture before actual American citizens are even charged with a crime.

Seize anything and everything of value that is Russian and Venmo that shit to Ukraine.

If you’re going Polish, get your hands on some bootleg Zubrowka (bison grass) wódka, sadly not legal here because of the alleged narcotic properties of the bison grass. Mix with apple juice for a szarlotka (apple pie) shot that will make you forget your worries as well as “responsibilities” and “physics” as you realize the shit DOES taste like apple pie that’s not at all 80 proof.

United States variant

Before 2010 Żubrówka was illegal in the United States because the grass it is made from contains coumarin which the FDA classifies as a "substances generally prohibited from direct addition or use as human food."[9][10] Since 2011 the manufacturers have made a version of Żubrówka from rye grain which aims to have a flavor similar to the original.[9][11]

Great Gatsby Movie GIF by Sony

I have made such a shot many times in various first-person shooters, and nothing quite beats that feeling of stepping out of hiding and taking out another person's tank or vehicle.

Well, maybe running over people in a jeep in Battlefield 1942.  And hell, Russia is probably running some 1940s-era jeeps in Ukraine, so that might could happen.

Yeah but it wouldve been cooler to cover a jeep in C4 and ghost ride that whip into a tank. GAWSH it's like you've never played BF
