I'd bet my next commission that she's gonna have an iphone too.  And she won't have to hide it in in her snatch...the guards will be told to look the other way and she'll use it openly.

Yes, not disputing the news that she was moved. Just noting that the move was certainly for a purpose and if the current BOP record is correct she has already springboarded to a private hideaway in a secret location. edit - in response to @Gil Bang

Her cell isn't ready yet.  The crew is still installing the mini-split AC.

I believe Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos infamy is also housed at the Bryan minimum security camp.

Lately I've been watching the Tiktoks of a woman who spent 5 years in federal custody for a fraud conviction. She mentioned that when she transferred to a CA minimum security camp from a MN high(er) security, the feds drove her to MN airport and gave her a plane ticket and a $100 and told her she had X hours to report to the CA prison. She basically was on her own for the day in the middle of her sentence. I wouldn't have guessed that was an option.

"The reason for the move is listed as a “lesser security transfer” (code 308) according to a transfer document I reviewed, which is completely inappropriate of for inmates who are in the early stages of serving their sentences, according to another source. “This is such obvious corruption. I have never seen this before,” said another person at BOP familiar with the situation.

The unit that approves waivers for sex offenders to be moved to minimum security camps is the Designation and Sentence Computation Center near Dallas. Currently, the senior deputy assistant director is Rick Stover, a career BOP employee who speaks frequently with White House officials."

That is her story. She refused, she says, but was coerced by her “recruiter” to do the gloved covered deed.

And that recruiter's name?

Lookie -- nuclear war!

You know, a lot of people are saying it's the biggest news story of the 21st Century.  I don't know, but that's what they're saying.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and not to any other matters, thank you, covfefe, good night.

Yep. These furloughs happen. Saves a shit ton of money, and worse case scenario is you put out a warrant on a non violent offender. Generally worth the risk, I think. It's the same type of inmate who may get a furlough to attend a funeral or medical treatment.

If she had a dick, she might be in the White House.

I'm sure convicted child traffickers are often sent to minimum security prisons.

Camp is below minimum.  And I think sex offenders, which Maxwell is one, are usually precluded from camps.  Not for any real reason other than it would be a publicity shitshow if an inmate escaped.  They can usually walk away from camps if they're so inclined.

She will probably walk away and disappear, but not before signing an affidavit which says Dotard didn't fuck any kids or anything like that.

Yeah, disappear like Big Pussy in the Sopranos.

If this Cheetoh-faced dipshit was smarter about protecting a legacy, he would've kept Maxwell right where she was and grant no pardon.

Instead, he's going to pardon her sex crimes and let her go free, in exchange for some "sworn" statement from her that he definitely, really, truly did not have sex with any minors.

Sure, some contingent of MAGA nation will buy that 100%.

But the rest of MAGA, and what I still believe is a significant number of halfway intelligent Americans, will see that as nothing more than an obvious cover up for Trump's involvement in a grotesque sex traffic and abuse racket, because the only reason a deal like this is even entertained is if that's the mother fucking truth.

This Epstein shit keeps drawing unforced errors from Trump.

There's a federal minimum security camp here that's attached to a medium security one. Back in 80s, when it was all just a minimum security facility, we'd hear about prisoners "jumping the curb" out at Club Fed, because there wasn't even a fence.

I believe these camps, at least the ones in Texas, are the ones you can leave during the day to go to a worksite, and then return in the evening.

Yeah, I think that's rare.  And there is usually a fence, I believe, but the gate is and stays open and it's unguarded.

Sounds like fair lodging for the world’s most notorious living child sex trafficker.

Waving sex offender status to own the libs…

This should end the discussion about Epstein

Some jackass had the gall to posit in this very thread that the Epstein scandal may only exit the headlines if the US were to bomb Russia. Weak.

“YOU MUST BE THIS TALL TO RIDE TRUMP’S MUSHROOM DICK”

Because I still like to respond to Magats on X

What else is there?

The FBI had 1000 people tag files for Trump’s name for an extended period of time.

Let’s break this down: say you’re pretty fast, and you can search a file for Trump’s name - if no Trump, it’s a quick click and on to the next file. Some will take a longer review. Let’s estimate about 1 document per 45 seconds or 4 documents every 3 minutes. One reviewer could get through 80 docs in an hour and 640 docs in an 8 hour shift. If 1000 people were working 8 hr shifts, they could review 640,000 documents per day.  Reports were that they worked 24/7… even if my numbers are off by a factor of 3 - 1000 people could conceivably review 200,000 documents per day.

How many documents are in the files and how closely did each reviewer have to look to be certain Trump wasn’t mentioned? What info was given to them in training about documents where you would find his name?

The only conclusion is he’s guilty and orchestrated a massive cover up

This is true. I toured the one in Beaumont maybe during the early 2000’s after they opened the complex, and at least at that time there was no fence. The “dorms” were big rooms with bunk beds and the inmates were free to roam as they pleased. Not that I want to spend time there but I do remember thinking that if you were there with some cool people it wouldn’t be that bad shooting the shit with them all day.
People sitting around reading, playing cards, board games and doing puzzles. Remember some guys throwing frisbees outside.  A lot of the people there were taking naps.  Hardly any guards around.
As I recall, there were rec rooms and a big tv room with cable. I specifically recall them referring to them as residents instead of inmates. They all seemed pretty stocked with snacks, boom boxes with cd’s and books.
I kind of remember the person doing the tour saying that they had had some residents leave the premises and walk to a convenience store.  Apparently, that was against the rules but they didn’t seem to upset about it

I also toured the minimum and medium security facilities. They were more like what most envision as prisons.  Ate lunch at the minimum and it was terrible.  Visited with an inmate who was a former client of one of the guys I was with. He said something along the lines that he was tired of eating corn tortillas and beans all the time because a large portion of the inmates were Hispanic and the menu was designed to the tastes of the majority of those there. I wanted no part of those places but like I said, I could definitely do time at the camp if I had to.
