Donald Trump 2020

Francisco 2.0

I rarely follow my own imaginary scenarios.  And I've completely out of touch with almost all contextual reality.  I used to say, as a point of levity, at business/board/serious meetings that my sarcasm and my daughters' smiles were the only things keeping my tethered to this planet.  It was useful at disarming people.  But in 2020, I am dead fucking serious about it.  I have to project Trump's shit onto a tertiary character from "Goodfellas", otherwise I'll have to voluntarily commit myself to inpatient mental therapy.

This wasn't a rally where he's trying to whip up his base into a frenzy by telling them, "We all know the evidence against Sleepy Joe and Kenyan Obama trying to spy on campaign and rig the 2016 election and probably this one too!"  He said, with all candor and gravity, to 60 Minutes...dead in the eye...despite all FBI and Intelligence Community reports to the contrary, there is serious evidence against Obama/Biden, that we all know it's true, but only he knows where the evidence is.  This wasn't campaign trail hyperbole...look at his eyes and mouth when he says that to Leslie Stahl.  He absolutely believes it's true.  He really does think they spied on him, he really thinks there's some secret cache of evidence out there somewhere, and he believes it will exonerate his insanity and punish Biden.  It is the mark of a paranoid delusional person, perhaps bordering on schizophrenia.  He's a broken man, now backed into a corner.  I've seen this in people before, however those people typically only posed a threat to themselves, and maybe their families.  This scenario could get far, far worse.

I'd be genuinely interested to take this as a matter of mental health evaluation (no politics) to the DT forum.  Our Trumpers on this board are well educated and availed of all manner of critical thinking.  They support Trump for myriad selfish reasons (and that's fine), not because they believe half the shit coming out of his mouth as gospel.  I would bet Trump voters on this board know the Obama campaign spying thing is bullshit by a ratio of 3:1.  They don't like Biden (frankly, I'm not a huge fan either), but it's not because they think he's a treasonous political spy.  Watch the Stahl segment again about the spying.  Tell me that's not the mark of someone mentally breaking down.  When your delusional constructs start crumbling in front of you...you prop them up with some "magic bullet."  "If only CBS would get down to the papers and look at the papers, then the world will know I'm not making this up!  People will see!  They'll find out the truth.  Maybe not until after the Election...but they'll know about the evils perpetrated against me!  There's evidence in the papers!  Everybody knows...we'll all see the light."

A lot of you have been hyperbolic with your mental assessments of Trump.  Narcissist asshole?  Compulsive liar?  Delusional pedophile?  All true.  But a lot of the other shit was just mud-slinging because we hate him.  But he really does believe this shit.  Not as a foundation for his inflated ego and sense of self-greatness.  He really thinks make-believe secret spies working on behalf of his enemies are out to get him, that everybody knows its true, but only he knows where the secret evidence is.  He's actually lost mentally.  Not in an asshole, lying, cheater kinda way.  He's legitimately lost in his own head.  The only saving grace we have as a country is that he knows he's wandering mentally.  He has a few shreds of cognitive awareness.  He sees the walls closing in, the fog settling over his brain, and he's at least still aware enough that he knows that's a bad thing.  He has not yet accepted his mind's fate for himself.  His invitation to permanent madness is still in the mail.

I cant even listen to that stupid motherfucker anymore. I try, but the bullshit never stops. After 5 minutes or so, I just have to bail. The reality that this simple minded buffoon sits in the position that he does breaks my goddamn brain.

Actually, recorded the 60 Minutes show watched the first 3 or so minutes and deleted it.  I simply cannot stand to look at or hear him.

Exactly. He's not the first politician that I disagree with politically, I disagree with most of them in one area or another. Its the never-ending stream of dishonesty and verbal diarreah that tumbles  out of his mouth like a Golden Corral chocolate fountain. Shut the fuck up with this "rounding the corner bullshit" you fat fucking piece of shit.

Not only rounding the corner, but the rally attacks against doctors that "deaths are overcounted because doctors get more money and hospitals get more money." Interesting dynamic there to divide the healthcare profession on the beginning of what looks to be expanding spread nationwide. Of course, Trump thinks it's no big deal since the worst will be after the election, but unless the WH is going to turn out the lights and vacate on November 3rd like a Halloween costume store in a strip mall, he's still going to be there during the worst of it.

More whinning from Dump. Just a spoiled child.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-scolds-60-minutes-for-tough-questions-but-critics-saw-whiny-president/ar-BB1aoHeX?ocid=msedgdhp

He deserves what he gets. Everything about the Steele Dosier was 100% accurate:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steele_dossier

Yet Dump tries to deflect to something Hunter did, which was nothing. There's no law against working for a foreign gas company, and Hunter's not running for president.

Ouch. I am definitely concerned about election shenanigans being the sole reason Trump would pull off a win. But his support; I don't think that core group is growing, they're just traveling from place to place.

I make no illusions that Joe Biden shares the same level of level that Obama, Hillary, or Bernie have. There's an enthusiasm gap for sure. And that's okay. Most are just motivated to beat Trump. It's okay to have a President that is just a President and not a pop culture icon.

Sometimes Trump forgets he's been the President for the last 3.5 years.

Believe two of those years Republicans controlled all three branches of government.

If America is falling apart its his fault.

Let's look at what he's accomplished in 4 years. what actual legislation got passed in a Republican controlled congress

S. 1094 - Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017

H.R.1957 — Great American Outdoors Act

PL 115–97 - Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) - The corporate tax rate was lowered from 35% to 21%

the rest was him rolling back anything Obama did.

I mean there's a bunch more but these are all just normal shit everyone signs.

https://www.npr.org/2017/12/27/573546883/trump-signed-96-laws-in-2017-here-is-what-they-do-and-how-they-measure-up

Oh in those rollback of Obama laws, he rolled back some shit that makes you remember he's a garbage human

H.J.R. 40: On February 28, Trump signed a bill that repeals an Obama-era rule that prohibited the mentally disabled from being able to purchase firearms. Obama signed the executive action, which mandated that the Social Security Administration submit names of mentally ill individuals to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System following the San Bernardino terrorist attack in 2015.

HJ Res 37: On March 27, Trump signed a resolution repealing an Obama-era rule, known as the "blacklisting rule," which prevented the government from working with contractors who had been in violation of labor laws, had engaged in wage theft, or were responsible for workplace safety violations in the last three years.

HJ Res 44: On March 27, Trump signed a Congressional Review Act resolution abolishing an Obama-era land management rule aimed at streamlining the process for making federal land use decisions. The change will make it more difficult for the government to implement large-scale land use initiatives, including for environmental protection purposes.

HJ Res 57: The president signed an action which abolished Obama-era federal standards that determined school success based on student performance.

HJ Res 69: Trump signed a House resolution that abolished Obama-era hunting restrictions on national wildlife refuges in Alaska. The rule was intended to protect predator species like wolves and bears from being hunted. The rule that Trump repealed also imposed a ban on aerial hunting, live-trapping or baiting predators, and from hunting those predators while they were near their dens or cubs.

HJ Res 83: In early April, Trump signed a House joint resolution which eliminated workplace safety regulations implemented by Obama which were aimed at reducing injuries and deaths in the workplace.

S.J. Res. 34: Trump authorized a Congressional Review Act bill which eliminated Obama-era rules protecting private citizens' internet and browsing data from being used by their internet providers.

Kushner...wow

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-10-26/kushner-says-african-americans-must-want-to-be-successful?sref=6SIErc4i

Quote

“One thing we’ve seen in a lot of the Black community, which is mostly Democrat, is that President Trump’s policies are the policies that can help people break out of the problems that they’re complaining about,” Kushner said Monday on “Fox & Friends.” “But he can’t want them to be successful more than they want to be successful.”

Kushner was dismissive of the Black Lives Matter movement in his Monday interview.

“You saw a lot of people who were just virtue signaling,” he said. ‘They go on Instagram and cry or they would put a slogan on their jersey or write something on a basketball court and quite frankly that was doing more to polarize the country than it was to bring people forward.”

I didn't see if he was wearing a swastika pen during this interview or not.

Of course.  After reelection is when the purges begin.  In Russia, Turkey, and Venezuela.  The crazy thing is that Trump likes to say Biden will make us Venezuela because he only sees things in a dumb socialist/capitalist dichotomy.  The truth is that Venezuela is fascist regardless of its underlying economic system.  And it is hard to say that Trumpist America is capitalist anyway.  Instead, state money is funneled into the corporations that kneel before the king.  Companies like Boeing and Conagra aren't exactly private enterprise.

Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now, do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression: "as greedy as a pig"."

That insipid little prick was born into a billionaire family, went into the family business, took over the family business when his corrupt father was sent to jail, never accomplished anything of merit, had everything handed to him his whole life, and absolutely believes what he's saying about black people is true.

twice they called it "the president's health care plan", but it wasn't.

also when asked if the president was coming back to finish the interview, it sounds like she said "the president is giving you a lot of time", but he never came back.  and now that i rewatch it, her tone makes it sound more like "the president has given you a lot of time" which is to say, he's given you more than enough, and he's done doing that.

what a fucking embarrassment.

Yeah, I don't agree with this. He gets asked difficult questions all the time -- maybe not this one exactly -- but he either doesn't answer, spouts several lies and moves on or tries to ridicule the questioner unless it's an attractive woman from OANN. Fox lobs a bunch of softballs at him, that's true.

Fox doesn't lob softballs at him.  I have heard Hannity ask Trump, point blank, "Mr. President, we all know you are the greatest President ever and you are an absolute genius who is loved by everyone in the world.  So how do you do it?".  That is a hard hitting, tough question.

Fine. Forget Fox. The rest of the respected media -- the ones who abhor him -- ask him all kinds of stuff. Of course he doesn't truthfully answer anything.
