There must be a yet undiscovered gene that about 43% of the country has that makes them easily swayed by con-men and cults.

I sure as fuck don't get why people would die for Trump of all people.

https://theoatmeal.com/comics/believe

Read that link. It’s not about Trump. It’s the backfire effect related to someone attacking our core beliefs that are built over time.

For example, as a child one might be taught that patriots love America. That’s a good thing. Then when you get older, you might be taught that Republicans are the party of the patriots that support our troops. They wave flags and love guns. You see it at all the rallies. They support capitalism. They buy American. They work hard and don’t take handouts and pull themselves up by hard work. So that’s a core belief. Republicans are patriots. The opposite of Republicans are Democrats. The opposite of patriots are socialists. So when you see a piece of information presented that goes your beliefs, you dig in and oppose it even harder to protect your core beliefs. Your core beliefs make you feel good. They’ve been with you forever.

Somebody should lose their license for this

Whether it is hearsay or not, or contains or relates hearsay is actually immaterial.  The affidavit doesn't prove anything at all.  https://cdn.donaldjtrump.com/public-files/press_assets/4.-exhibit-2-trump-affidavit-of-jessica-connarn.pdf

It doesn't even raise a suspicion.

The day after the election, a poll worker was instructed to mark the received date of a batch of mail in ballots as the day before the election.  There's not a damn thing that indicates that the marked mail in ballots were not received the day before the election.

It's both sad and utterly amazing that people who fairly recently were considered stable, respectable and professional have completely lost all sense of  reality.  I just don't get it.

These people changed for Trump, of all people.  Trump.

That dude in Austria with the dungeon was considered stable. And I guess, technically, he was, in an evil dungeon-keeping sort of way.

As for sense of reality, once we get a vaccine, go back to a crowded bar. Half the people in there will believe in ghosts, and another half will think they are somehow royalty because something something Ancestry.com. Just ask them.

falsifying evidence seems like it should be illegal.  Is it?

The allegation concerning both of those is not very "strenuous."  Just notes, incorrectly, that they are undated (the certificate and test report).

Just more evidence of incredible sloppiness.

So one has to strenuously falsify evidence for it to be an issue?  Is this like strenuously objecting?

That’s generous. Candor to the tribunal is a universal rule of ethical conduct and it’s hard not to see bad faith here.

Dude, she put in a doctored exhibit. That isn't mere sloppiness. Maybe there is a somewhat innocent explanation, e.g., unknowingly pulling a truncated version of the document from another source. But, assuming this comes to the judge's attention, I would think there would need to be a damn good explanation to avoid sanctions of some sort.

Probably is.  I tend to apply Hanlon's razor and I see as much evidence of incompetence as malice.

I'm no lawyer, but this is knowingly submitting false evidence. Spelling and grammatical errors are one thing, this is completely different and well beyond just being sloppy.

It could be knowing, it could be stupid.  I might guess one of the stupid bitches (Haller or Powell) screen shotted the certificate instead of just downloading it, thereby cutting off the bottom.  The test report is dated on the front page, about 3 inches below the cited signature, so that one's gonna require some splainin.  I can't see the actual exhibits, but the reference is one paragraph (12) of the Original Complaint.

Found the exhibits.  https://edgarcountywatchdogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/01-7.pdf  See exhibits 5 and 6

Something is superfucky about the way those were downloaded or screenshot.  In a way that makes me think incompetence rather than intentionality.  Every page of both exhibits is truncated at the bottom.

Nevertheless, it is now incumbent upon Powell to correct the record.  Someone should probably email her about it so we can make sure she eats some doodoo in front of the court.  Or is truly, deeply unethical.

I think it is more likely that she failed to research the veracity of the document.  Some supporter probably emailed it to her and she just ran with it.  Knowingly trying to deceive the court is a serious problem and would probably result in the SBOT asking you to take a "time out."

I would agree with you if it was just the single allegation. A doctored exhibit is much harder to square with mere incompetence.

Yeah, however they got the documents, it appears they got bad copies and then some dipshit noticed they weren't dated.  Should have also noticed that pretty substantial swaths of both documents were also lopped off.

They aren't really "doctored" in the sense of say whiting out information.  It's like they printed landscape without shrink to fit.  Or screenshotted every page and just hit "visible" instead of entire page.  Resolution to me indicates not screenshotted though.

Trump, you and Sidney are pushing a little too hard, this may cost you next month.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/01/politics/geoff-duncan-election-misinformation-cnntv/index.html

Quote

Georgia's Republican lieutenant governor on Tuesday joined a growing list of GOP officials in the state who are publicly rejecting President Donald Trump's baseless claims of voter fraud, saying the misinformation spread by the President and his allies is "alarming" and could jeopardize the party in upcoming Senate runoff elections.

Asked by CNN's Alisyn Camerota on "New Day" about a falsehood spread by Trump that election officials in Georgia were "making deals," Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan flatly replied, "certainly not."

Quote

"What is alarming is the amount of misinformation that continues to flow. It's alarming to me," Duncan continued. "It's certainly disheartening to watch folks willing to kind of put their character and their morals out there just so they can spread a half truth or a lie in the efforts to maybe to flip an election. ... That's not what democracy is all about."

So the Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, and others, are telling Trump, Powell and Co. to fuck off.

Interesting.

Yes, but what you have to understand is, those people are all deepstate libtards in league with the pedophile cabal of child-blood-drinkers.  Duh.  DO THE RESEARCH!  Here are links to 47 rambling Youtube videos that prove all of that, 100%.  OPEN YOUR EYES, SHEEPLE!

Holy God.  Look at this affidavit from a "cybersecurity expert," name redacted.  Exhibit 7.

https://edgarcountywatchdogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/01-9.pdf

That's some Qanon shit under oath, right there.

Particularly amusing is that Dominion granted HSBC Bank Canada a security interest in its patents.  Totally normal thing that happens with any decent-sized corporate loan.

Of course, HSBC, while a British HQ bank, traces its origins to HONG KONG!!!!!!

Dominion sold its patents to Jyna.

There'a a bunch of equally ludicrous shit inferred from port scans and domain name registrations.

Sweet.  Baby.  Jesus.

Twice will defend every lawyer’s action to the very end. I like the dude, but he is all in on the stick up for your own line of thinking     .  He would make a great cop.

Not really,  I just resist the mob mentality that tends to take over here.  Particularly when a weak understanding of the way legal things work drives the groupthink.

More than anything, I am a contrarian.

I don’t know how GOP can win GA when the president keeps telling republicans that their votes don’t count.

True that.

These people are definitely willing to make any ludicrous inference, right up to bald-faced lying, to try to support their cause.  They may well have put on blinders as to things they should know are not true.
