North Forest HS used to be part of North Forest ISD, which was so fucked up the Texas Education Agency decided that Houston ISD needed to take it over, if that tells you anything

Sounds like it was a charming spot

The metal detectors were removed after the HISD takeover. In 2014 students reported that the school restrooms now had soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. They also stated that students did not illicitly leave class and loiter in the hallways like they previously did.[9] In addition they reported that there were no longer fires set in the restrooms.

One sick, ignorant individual, who we were outraged about, identified him, and got him expelled, is apparently being used to convince prospective student athletes that they won't feel welcome in our awesome friendly, inclusive and welcoming culture. Ridiculous.

I like the possibility of more aggy misery, but that sucks if the kids transfer reasons are justified.  Denying eligibility just because you don't want to play against him is pretty shitty, and I am guessing pretty common at the HS level?

If you parents move to be closer to their job you can get a waiver but most people don’t up and leave their high school coaches, teammates and friends to move across town their Senior year.  Anytime that happens and athletics are involved the coaches clamp down on that.

So who was it that started that rumor?  He has my vote as Surly poster of the 2020 recruiting cycle.  I’m buying that dude a beer at the LSU game.

The rumor about a plastic surgeon /rhinoplasty specialist in Houston being requested to be flown to CS in the A&M private jet to see a university employee in the evening twice over the last few weeks?

Their biggest problem (beside having absolutely no self-awareness) is that their mods always immediately predict every player they want to aggy. Brian Perroni does it with his crystal balls every single time. They’re constantly pissed because they believed falsehoods from the start.

This. A hive mentality that starts in fish camp, then is exploited by boosters posing as independent recruiting analyst to cash in on subs by the prepped and brainwashed masses and years of lies and delusion. When reality rears it’s head, they are too far gone for any semblance of self awareness. Rinse, repeat, cash in on the stupid and ignorance, and cha ching! What a self perpetuating cash machine of a business model. They will never do anything of significance regarding CFB accolades. This model guarantees it. They are what they are.

Search for the hashtags #RacismAtTAMUFeelsLike and #BeingAPoCAtTAMU on Twitter and let us know how friendly, inclusive, and welcoming the TAMU culture is.

Most, if not all, states have rules to prevent high school athletic recruiting.  For example, how would it be if HP in Dallas was to be able to scoop up all the DFW talent?

In my state it requires a documented move of at least 50 miles for one of the parents' primary residence.  Otherwise you have to sit out a year. There is no appeal panel I know of.

I’m sure Alford will be happy to hear he’ll have another stud teammate in the fold.

While we’re at it, can we inform him that Collins is coming to the good guys too? He has about the same odds as CTJ does of taking snaps form Alford.

Holy shit. They’re so broken. This is amazing. Kicking their ass in two separate classes at the same time is really just more than their little sheep brains can handle.

Yeah, he was going to Bama if they’d take him. I kind of doubt he’s a depth chart watcher like Bryson

I had breakfast in Knoxville this morning, surrounded by a sea of iridescent orange, and while the folk were friendly enough, my mind was elsewhere. The beauty of eastern Tennessee (there is on spot where I-40 looks like the very path to Valhalla) and the number of things to do there, contrasted with the pile of putrescence that is College Station, makes me wonder how aggy ever manages to win any head-to-head recruiting battles at all.

It is a gorgeous city, no doubt. You wonder why Tennessee doesn't do better in football.

For a long time they confused our post-Mack Brown / Charlie Strong ineptitude and the associated increase in their recruiting success with the SECSECSEC. Now it's clear that when Texas is competing at its historical level it doesn't make a shit what they do. They have been, and always will be, little brother.

Well said. It's also interesting that they think all of our decisions are based on competing with them or keeping them down. I doubt that A&M is much of a feature in Texas' coaches pitch to recruits unless it's to undo a lie told by the A&M staff.

I don't deny that we compete with A&M, but they absolutely do overestimate how much consideration we give to them in decision making.

As usual, they're projecting their own inclinations onto us.

There are more people in the Houston metroplex than the state of Tennessee. They have to recruit well in MS, GA, and AL to be more successful.

I can think of few places where I’d be more uncomfortable

Meemaw’s kitchen table right next to her ovaries, for one.

Sitting on a couch in between Johnny Football and Looch while Looch drools in your lap as he leans over to make a move on JF.

Riding shotgun in the car with Jimbo on the way home from the pool party as Jimbo ices his face and is visibly red with rage.

Standing next to Katfid in a room full of black people as they make him pick which one is Tre Watson.
