Nice thread bump. I actually went to the OG Tommys the other day with coworkers. God damn huge tomato on my burger, I don’t get it but people here love it. Also not an in n out fan and started a huge argument on the dodger express after the game the other day

Gosh.  Is there any better, more enticing word to describe a sandwich than "wet?"   Yeah, I didn't think so.

I mean, a Chicago Italian Beef - "Wet" is not an unglorious thing.

Chips 6/10. Vinegar with two points deducted for weird pickle aftertaste.

Sandwich? Wet. Have not fully unsheathed it.

All of their chips suck.

It's not quite pizza level (even bad pizza is pretty good), but JJ's chips aren't even bad.  I haven't found a good salt and vinegar chip that wasn't too vinegar heavy, and I love vinegar flavors.

Off to search for malt-vinegar potato chips.

I like the Nathan's famous hot dogs you can get at the Walmart deli

If those are the same ones they have at Sam's Club, they are very good.  They used to have this even at my kids' elementary school called Arts & Carts, which was an arts showcase with hotdog carts.  They had those Sam's dogs, and, damn, I love them!

I tell myself I’ll eat clean then 12 AM hits, and the noodles start calling my name

My drunk weekends living close to little Tokyo have ruined any clean eating. I have no self discipline

Turkey in a pickle dipped in Ranch? That's gotta be the saltiest thing on earth.

Every 6-8 months my drunk brain thinks Jack in the Box is good.  In the morning, I realize it still is not.

When I was in my sophomore year of college my girlfriend was the center midfielder on the soccer team. We both discovered weed and jack in the box tacos and their stuffed jalapeños that same year. She ended up losing her starting position until we broke up.

Wet burrito from the taco truck down the street is pretty fire also

Back when BW3 was still a thing, “Wild & Wet” was the best way to get your wings.

I tried hattie bs last night.

Do not go there. Chicken bland as fuck, spice level was meh and the flavor on the chicken was non existent outside of the spice. They didn't brine anything, the chicken wasn't even crunchy/crispy and they do no work at all to make the pieces of whole chicken more edible like the other big chicken chains.

The pickles that came with it were ass tier.

Mac n cheese was whatever.

The waffles were dense crispy but way too heavy and not airy at all. Just a dense crispy mess of too much batter.

Legitimately 2/10

Their damn hot was appropriately hot though I wonder what the shut the cluck up is like, but will never have it.

We’re big fans of Tumble 22. My wife likes a crispy chicken sandwich, and they make one with fried boneless thigh that’s not too big and is really good. And their Nashville hot is actually really good.

Wonder if that was a location problem. They're not my favorite hot chicken by a long shot, but I've had plenty of good meals at the one in Deep Ellum (moved to Oaklawn). The bird's nest (whatever they call it- fries, chicken, mac, etc) is awesome.

Same. A very solid spot in our lunch rotation. Great fries, too.

I assume you wake up rolling in shit in your sheets. No way you make it all the way to morning without a colon blow.

I get that.  My unconscious order is a sourdough Jack and 2 crispy tacos.  I still do that every 6 months or so just to stay grounded.  And prep for my colonoscopy.

Sourdough Jack

Had one a few months ago (no ketchup) after every bit of a decade +. Tasted perfectly fine, but that may have been the biggest visual gap between the actual product & their promotional materials ever. Should have snapped a pic of my own.
