Asking the real questions! Hopefully this post somehow makes someone turn it into a jersey response or a comment about how a modern day man should dress.

Reading their board, there is a rising consensus that they blow out the next 2 games and will not only go to the conference game but will be in the CFP.

😂 the rollercoaster has already hit the point where they actually think they are the best team in the sec I’m pretty sure.  All because they beat a Missouri team that will finish with four losses probably.

“Both of these teams suck…we beat either easily”

umm sure Jan.

Guess that’s better than being stuck in the middle of the SEC and never haven’t a change to win it.

I wish the sec would figure out a schedule where everyone has to play everyone on a regular schedule, I don’t know once every four years at least…. But that might never actually happen because conference is pick and choose bs scheduling long before they add two more teams to schedule.  OU would whip them most years and it might be a toss up this year with OU’s defense vs their offense.

I skimmed their thread on our game and saw numerous posts where they were asserting they are easily the better team. Can't wait to skullfuck those slapdicks in their shithole kroger stadium. Its gonna be glorious. And then come next spring....

Posts about Roller coaster on Life as a Caterpillar

the cycle begins anew.

Yeah I knew the first quarter performance and Quinn’s struggles would give them some life.

Didnt realize they’d run so far with them.

Does the #1 team in the nation dominating a ranked opponent deserve to crack Graham Harmon’s SEC power ranking top 5 this week?

The way he shat on OU so hard before this game (it’s almost like they’re worse than Bowling Green) makes me think this isn’t our week.

No. We’re probably going to drop.

We may move ahead of Miss St. to #15 in the SEC but that would be generous after such a pathetic showing today.

Surely UGA deserves to drop below the almighty TAMU, given UGA’s struggle against MissSU, only winning by 10, while TAMU destroyed bye. Nobody dominates a bye week like TAMU.

Those fucking cocksuckers are dining out on the reputation of a bunch of overrated hilly billy, sister fucking morons.
We show up and are the only undefeated team right now. We beat Bama at Bama by 10 last year which none of them have done in like 20 years. Pretty sure we will be the first non Bama team to beat Georgia this week in line this century.

Texas gonna roll in, dickslap the entire conference and those mongoloids will come up with some story where whatever we did is so much less than their incessant mediocrity for the entire history of their second rate university.

Or, as I call it “Tuesday”.

“I told y’all before this week how bad OU was. And this just proved me right.  A lackluster Texas team beat them by 30.  They still don’t run well and their QB still hasn’t beat anyone this year or been challenged.  We’ll see how well they fair against an, admittedly, ‘down’ Georgia team before they face REAL SEC teams like Vandy, Kentucky, and of course mighty Florida who, you’ll remember, Aggie destroyed on the road by double digits!”

I just watched a tik tok video of BEVO and they showed the bucket he shits in…it’s an aggy bucket. That’s fucking hilarious. I’m sure everybody knows that but it’s still damn funny.

There is a tremendous opportunity in front of this Texas A&M football team. The Aggies managed a 5-1 stretch over these first four games despite the fact that they were missing one of their best players in Conner Weigman, passing a road test at Florida and a neutral-site trial against Arkansas before getting him back for a big game against Missouri.

Now that Weigman is back, though, this Aggie team looks like a squad to be feared. The defense keeps improving every single week, and the offense is in a different world entirely with Weigman than with Reed.

So with that in mind, just how high can this Aggie team fly? They're already getting some buzz as a potential College Football Playoff contender, especially given the rest of their schedule. And it's true, the slate sets up quite nicely for a big run down the stretch.

Of course, it's one thing to say that—it's another thing to come out and take advantage of it. These Ags have to prove that they're made of sterner stuff than previous teams—the Sumlin and Jimbo eras both saw some massive flameouts in their time.

ADVERTISING

But it seems like Elko has this team moving in the right direction. I've been impressed with the way the Ags have responded time and time again to adversity, and I believe they will manage success with the same professionalism.

So let's get into it. How exactly will the stretch run go for the Aggies? Let's make some predictions.

Quote

Texas A&M football @ Mississippi State, 10/19
The Aggies come out of their bye in Starkville next week. This has been a pretty cursed spot for A&M over the years, but much like in 2020 and 2012, there's something different about this Aggie team than others.

ADVERTISING

And just like in those years, I think we see the Ags get a pretty decided victory against the Bulldogs. Mississippi State is, at the time of writing, emptying the clip against Georgia, but is still nowhere near the Dawgs on the scoreboard. If we've learned one thing from college football, it's that these kinds of games can really be taxing on a team moving forward.

Mississippi State will return home after a hard-fought game only to greet an even more dominant offensive and defensive line than what they saw against Georgia. That may sound crazy, but so far this season, it's been the case.

Even though they get the Ags at home, there's no changing the fact that this has statistically been one of the worst defenses in the Power 4 conferences. A&M should be able to control the game with their balanced offensive attack and be done with the Bulldogs before halftime.

ADVERTISING

Please, no Starkville voodoo this season.

Prediction: Texas A&M 44, Mississippi State 17

Quote

Texas A&M football vs. LSU, 10/26
This is maybe one of the most interesting matchups left on the board. LSU has a defense that, while talented, has really struggled this year. Compounding their issues is the loss of star DT Jacobian Guillory and LB Harold Perkins.

ADVERTISING

Given those factors, this is another one that I see the Aggies being able to control with their strong ground game. Keeping the ball away from a dynamic LSU offense will aid the Aggies in their efforts here, and I don't know that the Tigers have the horses up front to handle the physicality of the Ags.

It is that LSU offense that is the point of concern, though. Garrett Nussmeier will make some really head-scratching plays from time to time, especially on the road, but he's playing behind a really stout offensive line that could be tough for the Aggies to crack.

If anyone can do it, though, it's this A&M front. I think we see Bateman, Spencer, Elko, and the rest of the defensive staff scheme up some ways to get some big time pressure on Nussmeier in front of a raucous Aggie crowd, throwing the Tigers off early. This is the second game of a road back-to-back for the Tigers, which—historically speaking—has not been a good thing.

ADVERTISING

Prediction: Texas A&M 38, LSU 24

Quote

Texas A&M football @ South Carolina, 11/2
This is another game that a lot of Aggie fans have circled as a potentially tough spot. Even I saw it as an issue in the preseason as I looked down the A&M schedule.

ADVERTISING

Now, though, even after the Gamecocks came within a made field goal of beating Alabama on the road, I actually don't feel awful about this one. In fact, I think it could be pretty decisive.

The reason is simple: if you can stop the Gamecocks in the run game, you can stop their offense down entirely. The pass game with LaNorris Sellers is inconsistent at the moment, to say the least. It's the rushing attack that has been the moneymaker for the Gamecocks so far this year.

Carolina's defense has been stout, and their pass rush is probably the best the Ags will see all year. At the moment, though, their construction kind of has them as a Notre Dame-lite: a team led by its defense that works the best when their run game can find purchase (though, again, the pass rush for Carolina is better than the Irish).

ADVERTISING

If there's a game where Weigman might struggle, it's this one. But I think we see the Ags get a defensive score here to put this one away late.

Prediction: Texas A&M 31, South Carolina 6

Quote

Texas A&M football vs. New Mexico State, 11/16
There's not too terribly much to say about this one. After a renaissance year under Jerry Kill, with Diego Pavia and Eli Stowers running the offense down in Las Cruces, New Mexico State is back to their old ways.

ADVERTISING

Much like against McNeese, I think we see Texas A&M pack it in early against New Mexico State. It's always possible to come out of a bye week a little lackadaisically, but by this point in the season, A&M should still be pretty sharp—especially if they are, as these predictions so far would have them at this point, a top-10 team.

This one should be over early. New Mexico State would lose to a lot of FCS teams, so they really don't have a chance at Kyle Field.

Prediction: Texas A&M 52, New Mexico State 3

Quote

Texas A&M football @ Auburn, 11/23
Here's another spot of worry for the Aggies on their schedule. After starting their tenure in the SEC undefeated in Jordan-Hare Stadium, the Aggies finally lost at Auburn in 2018. They are 1-1 on the plains since that game, though.

I think they improve their record against the Tigers on the road in this one, but it could still be a pretty dire game. The Auburn defense has some good pieces, so the Aggies can't overlook them.

The issue is the offense; in particular, it's the passing. Though Auburn has some great big-play receivers, they have no one to throw the ball to them. Hugh Freeze has cycled through a couple of options with pretty much no success at this point.

The run game has been decent for the Tigers, but even really successful rushing teams have had a lot of trouble against the Aggies. I'm not sure Auburn will fare much better.

Prediction: Texas A&M 31, Auburn 21

Quote

Texas A&M football vs. Texas, 11/30
Here we go, folks. The big one. The Lone Star Showdown is back.

The Longhorns are below your Fightin' Texas Aggies in the standings right now, having just moved to 2-0 with a win over the hapless Oklahoma Sooners earlier today. The Aggies remain the only 3-0 team in conference play, and if these games play out as predicted, they'll be 7-0 coming into this one.

The Longhorns have to navigate a few tough spots before this, but they don't face any truly scary teams apart from Georgia—but even that one has lost some luster. All that to say, the game in College Station is probably the toughest one left on the Longhorns' slate, especially when you consider that they are at home for several other big contests.

I think we see the Kyle Field crowd make a difference early. If things go like I'm predicting, this will be an atmosphere unmatched by any we've seen at the Home of the 12th Man in living memory, and they're bound to make a huge difference.

I've got A&M jumping all over the Longhorns early and pressing their advantage throughout the game. With the crowd behind them, it could be a long day for the Longhorn offense. Ewers is prone to strange turnovers, and I think A&M becomes the benefactor of one or two while shutting down the ground game entirely.

Prediction: Texas A&M 44, Texas 20

I for one welcome our new aggy overlords, and shame on those of you who are scoffing about Graham's predictions!  He has never been wrong on a prediction before!  Well, other than this:
