Do we want Bama to win?

Georgia is in with a win. Bama might be or might not be in with a win.

I think that the way Bama won last week on the last play will help us when they start looking at our games and a few squeakers and can say Bama has squeakers as well, including at the end of the season.

Okay dumbasses the committee has said time and time again and throughout the entire rankings that Alabama is not passing Texas right now. They mentioned that they don't care about when the wins happened they mentioned that they care where the wins happen and they have ranked UT>Bama all season long come on

I'm a convert... If Alabama wins and Louisville win... I think the order will be:

#1 Michigan

#2 Washington

#3 Alabama (for beating #1 Georgia)

#4 Texas

There is zero reason Georgia should get in over Texas if they lose this game.

We have a conference championship and they don't. We have a #13 SOS and they have the #61 SOS. We have more top 25 wins. We have a win over a common opponent they lost to.

This isn't even fucking close.

Agreed. Our only issue is Bama ahead of us if FSU wins. Georgia is in no matter what if they win though so roll tide.

Yeah but if Georgia wins the SEC definitely gets 1 team in. This scenario gives a much more likely chance of the SEC not getting a team in.

I still can't see the committee putting Bama in over Texas due to H2H.

This is correct.

This is absolutely how it should be in a vacuum. But leaving the SEC out is a tough pillow for the committee to bite.

Right, so FSU gets left out even if they win. It feels like that is the committees excuse to keep FSU out, it’s not Texas who would sit at 3, it’s Bama and the SEC that kept FSU out.
