I don't think polls matter for shit, but I do believe that dotard being more and more in the spotlight as we approach the election is a good thing.  Somehow, a ton of people who don't pay attention haven't realized he's going to be the nominee again and once they catch wind of it, they tend to say, nah, not again please and thank you.

Also, how fucking nuts is it that we are about to have a presidential debate and the R nominee hasn't been formally nominated yet?  Has that ever happened?

Once Biden is re-elected, Democrats should move Heaven and earth to get the requisite number of states to sign on to the National,Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and then move to expand the SC. Thirteen justices for thirteen circuits. Do it!

It’s not even clever, or witty. I guess you can pretty much say anything when you have an audience like Fox’s.

“Amtrak Joe”. Took the train to work every day for 30 years. You know, to get filthy rich.

It's crazy watching that clip and realizing that both Trump and Biden were already middle aged when I was in 7th grade.

Burgum's net worth is $100 million, which means he brings to the table for Trump way more than anyone else would.

Aka, he's going to make Burgum sink that entire net worth into a campaign so he can continue to use donations for legal bills.

I hadn't considered Trump essentially selling off the VP spot.

It just seemed so obvious.

He doesn't want anyone to expand his coalition, soften the GOP's stances against minorities/women.  It's about $$$$$$$$$$$$$

The billionaire needs the millionaire for his money and to help with his campaign donations and legal bills.

Exhibit eleventy billion that this is a stupid fucking simulation.

my favorite justification for voting trump (ca. 2016 you heard this more) is "he's rich.  he can't be bought."  because rich people famously stop wanting more money.

I am a Democrat but will vote for Trump, because he is not bought and paid for by anyone. We the American people are tired of politicians owing favors to rich businessmen, bankers, oil companies and stock markets. It should be against the law to have lobbyists involved with government.

it's amazing though that he's in such a financial pinch that this would be the final factor for vp.  this dude brings zero votes.  pence had a purpose.  tim scott would have a purpose. jd vance would have a purpose. jim jordan could have a purpose.  noem pre-cricket had a purpose.  every one of those would arguably make trump's appeal a little bigger.  this dude gets you only back to zero.

That's a good point. Biden throws his name all over the place, trying to make a quick buck. Biden steaks, Biden University, etc.

Doug Burgum looks like he’s got a profusion of thick, wiry, grey and black ear and nose hair. They probably clean him up for public appearances and media, but a few days later it’s out of control again.

Seriously. I just want them to continue a functioning government and avoid the collapse of the republic. Do I expect them to do anything of substance that would shake things up like expanding the court or the popular vote compact?  Of course not, because they are pussies.

also trunp team and radical republicans now shifting their talking point and are now saying Biden will do great in the debates

Yeah, but the Trump numbers at this point are all Republicans combined.

It’s like their claim that if you tax rich people more they’ll just stop working. Beyond fucking stupid.

I was just looking at the electoral map this morning. If you take the safe blue states plus Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, which are all statistically tied in polling average, we are spared a Trump second term. I'm up here in northern Virginia so will plan some Penn canvasing and make a lot of phone calls to those states. Biden can pull this off.

It really is that simple. Win the blue wall, win the election. But also, run up the score - NV, AZ, GA, NC, NE-02. Fuck it, Texas and Alaska both shifted quite a bit left from 16 to 20 too

I do think Trump's path to victory hasn't been discussed enough.

He can flip Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada and still lose.  If Biden wins Arizona, then Trump HAS to have Pennsylvania or Michigan.  I know the 2020 election was closer than the electoral college would indicate, but Trump really has to thread the needle this year with a coalition of very different voting bases.

Dotard is out there promising all sorts of free shit to those that loathe free-loaders.  They are going to eat it up.  They won't get shit in the end, but that will be Soros and Hillary's fault.
