Doug Burgum looks like he’s got a profusion of thick, wiry, grey and black ear and nose hair. They probably clean him up for public appearances and media, but a few days later it’s out of control again.

Once Biden is re-elected, Democrats should move Heaven and earth to get the requisite number of states to sign on to the National,Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and then move to expand the SC. Thirteen justices for thirteen circuits. Do it!

Welcome to November 2020!

Seriously. I just want them to continue a functioning government and avoid the collapse of the republic. Do I expect them to do anything of substance that would shake things up like expanding the court or the popular vote compact?  Of course not, because they are pussies.

May fundraising numbers:

Biden - $85 million

trunp - $141 million

also trunp team and radical republicans now shifting their talking point and are now saying Biden will do great in the debates

Yeah, but the Trump numbers at this point are all Republicans combined.

my favorite justification for voting trump (ca. 2016 you heard this more) is "he's rich.  he can't be bought."  because rich people famously stop wanting more money.

It’s like their claim that if you tax rich people more they’ll just stop working. Beyond fucking stupid.

I was just looking at the electoral map this morning. If you take the safe blue states plus Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, which are all statistically tied in polling average, we are spared a Trump second term. I'm up here in northern Virginia so will plan some Penn canvasing and make a lot of phone calls to those states. Biden can pull this off.

Yes, the man who plasters his own name in huge, gilded letters on his buildings is quite the humble servant of God. Doesn’t matter, his followers live the same charade. Theater of political tribalism.

It really is that simple. Win the blue wall, win the election. But also, run up the score - NV, AZ, GA, NC, NE-02. Fuck it, Texas and Alaska both shifted quite a bit left from 16 to 20 too

I do think Trump's path to victory hasn't been discussed enough.

He can flip Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada and still lose.  If Biden wins Arizona, then Trump HAS to have Pennsylvania or Michigan.  I know the 2020 election was closer than the electoral college would indicate, but Trump really has to thread the needle this year with a coalition of very different voting bases.

Dotard is out there promising all sorts of free shit to those that loathe free-loaders.  They are going to eat it up.  They won't get shit in the end, but that will be Soros and Hillary's fault.

William Henry Harrison?  36.6% in an 1836 loss to 52.9% in an 1840 win (16.3%)

Trump "raised" $75.3 million in May.  Non-PAC donations were $970k.   Spent $7m.  About 1/3 of that $75m was pledged by one dude.

Biden raised $37 million in May and $17m of that were non-PAC donations.  Spent $30m

Biden also raised $40 million in the last 5 days, mostly via joint fundraisers with Obama and Bill

Vance and Rubio don’t bring enough money for Trump. He needs Burgum’s net worth. He’d probably take Vivek’s but too brown

JD Vance makes an already unserious trump candidate a complete joke of a ticket. I don't think they can pick him. Rubio is out cuz he isn't stepping down and moving before November. Bergum is the only logical choice.

Remember the first year of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, that Rubio played a pivotal back-channel role because he knows his foreign policy shit.  And see how he got almost radio silent in the last-year, and not in a good way?  It was to garner favor with MAGA nation who didn't think we should be remotely involved in supporting Ukraine despite Marco knowing better.  It was an understandable play by Rubio.   But now, Burgum is literally laying out stacks of cash on a table, and that's the only thing that moves Trump's mushroom dick besides Ivanka's laundry.  Vane could be a play given his Rust Belt connectivity where the GOP has bled votes the last few cycles.  But if the writing is on the wall that Donald can't win, he'll gladly take Burgum's cash and run.  But yeah, outta the three-the one who is actually qualified is Rubio but he has no shot at it at all.

When an aggy can say this to you and we all nod in agreement rather that pointing out the irony, man, do you need a new screen name.  This one is fucking cooked.

As may have been already mentioned it seems like that name has been nuked from this site. I am sure he’ll be back only to be banned again and again.

Rubio can kick rocks. He is subservient to the lowest intellectual rungs of our population. What a waste.

If it’s Rubio at least one of them would be able to vote for their own ticket in Florida

The report is just to make it look like he’s going through the process. The rich guy has already bought the position. Trump is broke and pathetic.

Rich people don’t work, at least in the sense of w2 income. High level earners will definitely stop working beyond a certain threshold. Increasing capital gains (at least the way we do it) hurts pensioners as much as fat cats

we should have a graduated tax that works the same regardless of classification of income
