the dumb ass has no idea how to drive a car lolol

Trump: I’m not allowed to drive because I haven’t driven a car in a long time. I love to drive cars. But I’m going to have it at The White House and I’m going to let my staff use it. I’m not allowed to use it

Here's a president hauling ass in an electric F-150:

its been time. I mean, the mechanics are going there and I don't see anything stopping it. I want to be wrong. Someone paint me a picture where logic and unity overcome stupidity and division?

Aliens? its gotta be aliens.

Asteroid?!

An Asteroid with aliens on it?

Anyway, enjoy your gaslighting. Can't believe you would even think of violence.

There really is nothing stopping it. Not right now, and everything is only going to continue getting worse from here. We are full steam ahead in so many different ways. Crazy time to be alive.

In 1968 I saw the Fugs play a free gig on campus at Rice.  In a mocking tribute to Ricard Nixon, they performed their great bizarro rock song called “Four Minutes to Twelve and There’s a Madman at the Wheel.”  This would be a good time to release a cover, 2025 style. I’m guessing the original Fugs are all deceased and decomposing.

CORRUPTION

This has to be the message. It’s not ideological, and everyone understands it. Hammer that message repeatedly for everyfuckingthing. It’s not a lie, and it’s not even bending the truth.

Corruption is the key. Tie everything to it incessantly.

Post it in the protest song thread.

Edit: We have musicians. Maybe someone will revise it.

I have strayed from calling them Nazis because this movement comprised of the dumbest people imaginable resembled fascism more to me a few years back more than anything else. The fealty to Hirohito has a stark resemblance to how MAGA acts toward Dotard as well. The difference with our fascism and the one most referenced of Italy in the 20’s-early 40’s is we have a gigantic capacity for industry as to where Italy’s industrial output was meager straight through. That doesn’t even get into all the other host of issues Mussolini had with the king, church etc.

It’s all just so ridiculous that historians and authors decades from now will no doubt just devote entire books to the stupidity of it all.

The MAGA fever dream era will be even more unbelievable to those studying it at a remove many decades in the future. Assuming we prevail and some kind of normalcy returns.

This.

I don't think people are overreacting, I think people are just reacting poorly and don't understand this is just the beginning. There is a difference, and we simply are not in the flood the streets and mass protest phase of this yet. Stuff has to play out some and already is to some degree.

The North Korean Kim's have never been ousted from office, unlike those corrupt South Koreans. It's obvious which one is the true democracy we need to ally ourselves with.

My guy, people were still rabidly backing the reich while our bombers were making their piles of rubble shake on the ground. I doubt we will ever see the mass protest phase because of civil crackdowns on protests of any kind.

And very fine people and business leaders will LAP THAT SHIT UP because it'll be done under the guise of "property rights protection" - legally establishing that an oligarchs property has more rights and legal protections than human beings. We've seen literally all of this shit before. Sub in Elon for Porsche and roll the clock back 90 years.

I’m listening to Operation Paperclip by Annie Jacobsen right now. The Germans were doing crazy shit right up to and sometime after the war was over. Many refused to believe that Hitler was actually dead - you know the fake news and all…

I saw a montage of clips yesterday of Trump saying some variation of "These tariffs are so great, you're going to be so rich you're not going to know what to do with all the money!".

How do you hear that and not immediately recognize that he is a conman. Like, "Wow, I was struggling to pay my bills six months ago (because I was a federal worker laid off by Elon for no reason). But then the Trump tariffs kicked in, and then I saw that there was $16 million in my checking account. Thanks Dotard!"

Because that's how tariffs work.

DOE is gone. we all knew that was coming. So what was the big savings to the tax payer? 1500 employees? Shit, DOGE is going to have way more than that within 6 months.

So we all have GOP Congress to thank to taping our feet to the bicycle and forcing us to endure whatever tariffs fuckery comes next with no legal off ramp. Just fantastic work

The only language fascists understand is violence. It might be time for a national conversation.

It's past time. Sometimes you gotta clean your own house. There's certain people in position to do it that need to be asking themselves if they're up to the responsibility of their oath to protect the Constitution, or if they're another in a long line of historic cowards that let democracy die and fascism arise.

If only South Korea’s leader would write a nice letter expressing how much he loves TFG like the benevolent 18 Time NBA ALL STAR and reigning Olympic Champion in the 100M in charge up north. All would be well.

the House doesn't trust itself.

I can’t wait to try and sell this one on my boss that when I ask for a day off that that means I’ll see you next year because Congress said so. 2025 is just one long day now. I am sure it will go over well getting the year off.
