I went in to Kerrville. Day after. A few can attest. I saw a lot of ICE, FBI, etc. But ya know, the Mexican team was one of the first to respond and the last to come for lunch.

FEMA and the RS Teams? Nope.

One thing all this shit underscores, that I think a lot of people really didn't realize, is that a lot of, nay most, unlawful immigrants are living really normal lives, working, paying taxes, going to school, doing most stuff native-born Americans do, and generally working a lot harder than most at jobs native-borns are afraid to do.

The GOP had created this notion that they were all standing around on street corners, slingin drugs and looking for white wimmen to rape and other crimes to do.  Complete and utter bullshit.

This.  Just...this.

Not only are the vast majority - as in, almost all - of illegal immigrants NOT out there hurting anyone, they're actually just folks, working hard as hell, doing their jobs well, contributing to our overall economy and society, raising their families, and trying to create a better future for their family.

You know what I call people like that?  Great Americans.  A guy who gets up before the sun, busts his ass doing top-quality work, greeting his co-workers and client/boss with a smile, who goes home and kisses his wife, laughs with his kids, cheers them on at their soccer games, provides a good and safe home for them so that they can live and go to school and maybe end up with a job that DOESN'T require getting up at 4:00 and working outside, and enjoys watching a game with his buddies on the weekend?  We should want a country full of people like that.  That's the best of America.

What REALLY pisses off these loser white supremacists who can't fucking compete is that we HAVE a "best of America" -- and it's brown, speaks Spanish, and listens to music they don't understand.  Tough shit.  Get over it, you fucking entitled, loser fucks.

Parts of my racist shit fuck family see black people like this and really want to go after them but since they are citizens going after the illegals is the next best thing. These people really are pieces of shit and I don’t see any way to change their mind. They really enjoy being racist

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-08-29/public-defender-moves-to-disqualify-bill-essayli

Quote

The federal public defender’s office in Los Angeles filed a motion Friday to disqualify acting U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli, arguing that the Trump administration’s pick to serve as the top federal prosecutor in Southern California is unlawfully occupying his post.

Essayli, a former Riverside County assemblyman, was appointed by U.S. Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi in April, and his term was set to expire in late July unless he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate or a panel of federal judges. But the White House never moved to nominate him to a permanent role, instead opting to use an unprecedented legal maneuver to shift his title to “acting,” extending his term another nine months without any confirmation process.

The federal public defender’s office filed a motion seeking to dismiss an indictment against their client and to disqualify Essayli and attorneys working under him “from participating in criminal prosecutions in this district.”

The defendant, Jaime Ramirez, was indicted on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

In a 63-page motion filed in Ramirez’s case, James Anglin Flynn and Ayah A. Sarsour, deputy federal public defenders, argued that the Trump administration circumvented limitations that Congress has imposed on temporary service in key offices, including U.S. attorneys.

Essayli’s term was supposed to expire on July 29. At that point the White House had not formally nominated him before the U.S. Senate, and local federal judges had taken no action to confirm Essayli, or anyone else, to the position. At the eleventh hour, the White House named Essayli as acting U.S. attorney, allowing him to hold the post for 210 more days without confirmation hearings

Essayli “was not lawfully acting as the United States Attorney in any capacity” on Aug. 13, when the government obtained the indictment against Ramirez, the deputy federal public defenders wrote in their motion. “And he has no such lawful authority today.”

The U.S. attorney’s office in L.A. did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The Department of Justice declined to comment.

In their motion, Flynn and Sarsour pointed out that the Trump administration has used similar strategies to keep political allies in power in U.S. attorney’s offices in New Jersey, Nevada, New Mexico and the Northern District of New York. But legal challenges are mounting. Last week, a federal judge ruled that Alina Habba has been illegally occupying her seat in New Jersey since early July, although that order was put on hold pending appeal.

This phrase triggers rage due to the frequency with which one reads it.

It is, historically, fairly normal.  And the courts of appeal are mostly affirming the lower courts.  It's the Supreme Court emergency or shadow docket you have to worry about.

Huh, CBP was being trained to use mortars by US special forces?

That's straight from DoD, and seems extremely unusual, even for a tactical police team. It does make sense from a funding perspective though, since they get more cash than the Marines now.

Federal judge out of San Francisco finds that using the NG to assist ICE in LA violates the Posse Comitatus Act. About time, but of course the order is stayed.

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard in California to fight crime.

San Francisco-based U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer issued the order for the U.S. District Court California Northern District, according to a court filing.

“I keep seeing these memes where Indians are bragging about taking our tech jobs,” said Ely, 36. “So I said, ‘Oh yeah? Well I’m going to work with these guys that are going to arrest you, slam your face on the pavement and send you home.’”

And then, Ely will have that coveted tech job for which he is assuredly qualified to perform.

ICE to Gain Access to Paragon Spyware After Biden Order Dropped

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-02/ice-to-gain-access-to-paragon-spyware-after-biden-order-dropped

Takeaways by Bloomberg AI

  • US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is on track to gain access to spyware designed to hack phones and read private messages after the Trump administration reactivated an ICE contract for spyware from Paragon.
  • The Paragon software has allegedly been used to target activists and journalists in Europe, and is designed to hack into mobile phones and secretly record messages sent using encrypted apps such as Signal and WhatsApp.
  • The contract renewal gives ICE a powerful new spying tool in its crackdown on undocumented immigrants, as it attempts to deliver on President Donald Trump’s promise to carry out the largest mass deportation in US history.

The sooner that America realizes that ICE is not an immigration agency, it is instead "Trump's all-purpose secret police" with its entire mission being inwardly focused (targeting "enemies of the regime"), the better a chance we'll have.

Stasi, the Gestapo, the FSB, what have you....they're here.  They are called ICE.  All of us who grew up reading books and watching movies where we recoiled in horror when we saw states with "secret police" who targeted the state's own residents for being disloyal to the regime and whatnot?  We're here.  It's our turn now.  Wake the fuck up.  ICE is not getting this tool so they can spy on some illegals hanging sheetrock.  They are getting the tool so they can spy on Americans who the regime does not like.

Remember how some people freaked out about FISA courts and warrants?  This dispenses with even that level of formality and legal review.  They are just going to use it.  Then, in the endgame, the people they target with it are going to be disappeared.  That's how secret police work.

100%. It's absolutely mind-blowing that we so easily accepted these dudes "masking up."

So dipshit ordered the NG to deploy in early June and in early September a judge said he can't do that.  That oughta do it, thanks very much Ray.

Hey man, if you're doing nothing wrong then you shouldn't worry about your constitutional rights.

Seriously it looks like Chicago will be the next battleground. Trump will let loose the talking heads to explain how out of control Chicago is with crime. This will give him cover for the NG, most likely also with ICE. Gotta bump up those deportation numbers.
