Reading one page here was all I heard all day about this racist’s funeral.  Not sure how some of you do it.

I was watching football all day, and wouldn't even have known except I stopped in at a gas station and this crap was playing on one of the TVs

I actively avoided it and have only gotten snippets from surly too, but holy shit it seems like every platform was pushing it. YoutubeTV was recommeding multi-boxes of NFL games and the CK memorial, which is just ridiculous.

What part of being a dad makes you think he was an incel.

Was at the Central Market on Lovers right after the Cowboys and some old white dude wearing scrubs was listening to Trump’s speech from
Kirk’s rally loudly on speaker phone. Just shook my head and walked away.

Attended a celebration of life at a bible church on Saturday. The pastor obviously did not get the Kirk memo. His sermon focused on how the dead who were favored by God spent their time in Heaven glorifying God, and, he assured us, did not bother checking in with us still on Earth. Now, I wonder how his sermon will change to include Kirk’s beyond the grave exhortations.

Any waiter who has worked a Sunday afternoon is all too familiar with "Christian's" behavior when they think it's someone else's job to clean up.

Sorry, but the ones who want assault rifles to be available at sporting goods stores don't get to accuse anyone else of being pro-violence.
You're just upset that it finally happened to someone you cared about.
He didn't really care about him THAT much until the liberals started criticizing his racism... errrr "celebrating his death".

When is the memorial for the three kids who were shot the same day?

You no doubt heard that the shooter who predictably killed himself, had be radicalized online. No media outlet provided detailed who radicalized him. It should as surprised as to the reason why. The shooter had fallen under the spell of racist, virulently right wing, extremists.

Same here. Don't care. He's gone and in the dustbin of history.

I can’t believe I found this.

But something about this tattoo rubs me the wrong way.

I keep trying to come back to it…. But I still can’t quite put my finger on why.

Maybe I’m being too sensitive, IDK.

Look I’m fucking with you but you seemed to say he was just bringing up race to get conversation started. However after seeing everything he posted about DEI, white persons slot and white replacement and how w blacks were better off in the 40’s can you admit he is obviously racist?

I think he hurt peoples feelings and wasn’t always politically correct. Not my place to say he was a racist when half the country thinks otherwise. What a world we live in.

he repeatedly said that desegregation and allowing black prole to vote was a mistake. he was an unapologetic racist.

When a person tells you they’re a racist, believe them. Kirk was an open, outspoken racist.

It you’re saying you couldn’t see it then you’re either being dishonest or you’re a fucking moron. Just because people agreed with him doesn’t mean he wasn’t a racist. It just means they’re racists too.

Surely you can’t be that dumb.

IDK exactly why but this got me to thinking about Always Be closing line in Glengarry Glen Ross. And this MAGA group is really just ABC in Alway Be Conning…..

Then I pictured Trump as the ALEC Baldwin character right before the memorial. With some help fromOur AI overlords I think I got it pretty close to what Trump is probably like with his cadre of MAGA sycophants.

I present:

MAGA-ry Grift-Kirk’s-Loss:

Quote

[Trump walks into a room of praying staffers in’s room  backstage of Charlie Kirk’s memorial]

Trump:

Let me have your attention for a moment.

You’re talking about what? About the budget, about policy delays, about some judge who doesn’t like us?

[He snaps upright, voice rising, incredulous.]

About some judge who doesn’t like us?! Forget it. Let’s talk about something important.

[He snatches a photo/prop labeled “Tyler Robinson Text Exchange,” from an aide and studies it briefly, then throws it down in an heap of files labeled top secret evidence.]

Put Charlie’s martyrdom down. Charlie’s for closers — and for patriots who find me donations.

[He paces, slow, deliberate.]

Do you think I’m kidding?

[Sudden shout, mocking, hand slicing through the air.]

You think I’m kidding?! I am not kidding.

I just came from England.

I just came back from the White House.

And I’m here on a mission of money.

Good news? We’ve had two full news cycles without Epstein.

Bad news? You’ve got one week — one week — to keep this operation alive. Starting tonight.

[Slides a sealed envelope across the table toward a nervous aide.]

First prize is a piece of TikTok.

Second prize is a MAGA hat.

Third prize? You’re fired. You get the picture?

[He leans forward on the table, knuckles pressed into the wood. Voice drops low, baiting.]

“The media environment is weak…?”

[Explodes, mocking, incredulous — eyes flashing.]

“The media environment is weak?!”

The media is everything! Podcasts, headlines, lawsuits — hundreds of them.

But they can’t stop me, and they can’t stop us.

You’re weak if you don’t use Charlie’s name to go after our enemies.

[Snaps fingers once, sharp.]

A-B-C: Always. Be. Conning.

[Counts on fingers, sharp stabs.]

And A-I-D-A?

— Attention: go get it.

— Immigrants: blame them. Every problem? It’s theirs now.

— Deportation: that’s the promise, the chant, the show. Round ’em up, send ’em out, keep it rolling.

— Again: because you never finish. You do it again, and again, and again.

[He pulls his phone from his pocket, flips it face-up, and tosses it on the table — it clatters. Onscreen is a screenshot of the newest family crypto coin article.]

See this meme coin? That meme coin is worth more than your department’s budget.

[Mocking laugh, then soft brag.]

Hell — I got two billion from the Emirates last month. Two billion.

[Sudden bark, mocking disbelief.]

How much did you grift?! Fifty grand in a brown bag from an FBI informant?

[Turns sharply to a senior official at the end of the table. Low, contemptuous.]

Tough guy?

[Snaps back, louder, mocking.]

Tough guy?! I don’t care.

Good Christian?

[Sarcastic sneer.]

Good Christian?! Go pray in the parking lot.

[Flat, dangerous.]

You wanna win? You grift.

Think this is harsh?

[Explosion, mocking shout.]

You think this is harsh?! Wait ’til you see how much I lean on the networks — frivolous lawsuits, getting their hosts fired.

[He slams his palm flat on the table with a crack that makes everyone jump. In the same motion he digs into his baggy suit pocket and theatrically pulls out two large prosthetic brass balls, holding them up so the aides can’t miss them.]

[He lets them glint for a beat — a nasty, triumphant grin.]

You know what it takes to fleece America? Brass balls. Arrested politicians. Full media censorship.

[He walks the length of the table, stopping to stare each person down.]

The money’s out there — in chips, in lawsuits, in foreign deals. You pick it up, it’s yours.

[Sudden incredulous laugh, mocking tone.]

You don’t?! You’ll be sitting in some bar saying, “I used to talk to the President. It was a tough racket.”

[Stops at the door, hand on the knob. Turns back.]

These are the new MAGA diehards. The Charlie patriots. And to you, they’re gold.

But you don’t get them by standing around. They’re for closers. For believers. For the ones who rig elections.

[Leans in — low, cold whisper that bites.]

I’d wish you good luck… but luck is for losers.

[Mocking grin.]

And losers? Losers don’t get a piece of the action.

[He opens the door. The muffled roar of the crowd seeps in. He straightens his jacket, nods once, and exits.]

3,2,1.

Religion has produced some pretty cool artistic and architecturally significant shit at least.

Instagram has hotties you can follow with a burner account so that people can’t tell you’re a degenerate… or so I’m told.

But I seriously can’t seem to find anything redeeming about Oklahoma.

Being a racist isn't a matter of popular opinion. Especially when "half the country" are pretty avowed racists themselves.

The racist relativism that’s happened since 2015 is pretty fucking wild.

But I guess I can’t truly know what he felt in his heart of hearts so you could argue he wasn’t a racist by the narrowest definition of racist (noun).

But sure as shit he said a ton of racist (adjective) stuff. Boy howdy he ticked every single one of those definitions

racist

noun

A person who believes a particular race is superior to others.

A person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others.

adjective

Of, relating to, or advocating racism.

Based on racial intolerance.

Discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion

Started the day yesterday in Katy. On the hotel elevator an Asian looking dude offered that he and his wife were going to see, for the first time, dolphins in the Gulf of America. Said something about wondering if they were different from dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. I thought he was joking. In the car on the way home my wife mentioned tell tale signs the guy and his wife were ex-military, which I had missed.

Three times on the way back to Austin, folks just decided to merge into my lane with my car in their way. Weird ass day.

Yeah, they've got polling out on Charlie Kirk since the shooting.  Turns out most young people hated his ass and it was only the 65+ boomer age demo who had a positive view on him.  Surprise fucking surprise.  Only a quarter of the people polled were very familiar with him.  Most hardly knew anything about him and didn't give a shit.

Also, on a side note, Trump is underwater bigly across the board in this poll.

Yougov poll about to find itself embroiled in a $500 million lawsuit from the administration.

I wonder if hat kind of settlement they’ll make…. 50 million to the ‘library’ and free polling for republican candidates for the next two cycles?

Tattoos are sometimes great to forever remind a person  of how big a fool they might have once been, or still are.

For all the squawking about how Kirk and TPUSA revolutionized (or some shit) the youth vote, in the interview with your Governor GCN, they shifted 13% of the white male under 25 vote.

While that is certainly statistically and electorally significant, in the grand scheme, shows that Kirk's popularity and influence in that demo isn't as overwhelming as it has been made to seem.

I think the reason olds like him, in addition to just liking everything MAGA, is that they suspect that they're old, out of touch, and wrong, but ol' Chuck gave em a youth voice that countered their suspicion, just like blacks and latinos for Trump assuage the nagging feeling that they're being racists.

On Trump giving a preview of an autism prevention option, how weird is it for a president to gate keep a supposed “cure” by promising to talk about it tomorrow. Didn’t he want to help mothers who might create an autistic youth on Sunday?
