Holy crap. I realize that he won a national championship and that this is LSU but there's no way he survives this.

Honestly I hope he does. He's a complete fucking idiot ogre.

All this and LSU currently has the #3 recruiting class in the country. What a messed up world
The equipment mananger could be named interim head coach and most of the in-state recruits would still stick with tigah...its just the way things are down there.

So we get LSU at home week 1, although we have a week 0 game against Hawaii first.  Been perusing Tigerdroppings in anticipation.  Damn, that place is very texags-ish.

Swamp aggy probably runs a close 2nd for most annoying fan base in this area

I thought LSU fans were pretty shitty from what I saw at DKR. I wouldn't expect collegiality from them. Allegedly they're much worse in Death Valley.

I think the only "nice" fans we'll encounter in the SEC are the Commodores because they really don't give a shit about football.

The tiggers have a high non-alum season ticket holder percentage. Lots of drunk coon-asses who only care about the game - and giving shit to visiting fans. But if you can take the shit talking and not escalate, you’ll eventually be given food and a beer.

Edit: I usually interject how much I love the baseball facility and ‘have you ever been to Omaha?’ as soon as possible. That gets you to the food sooner.

Not the first time I've been given that advice.

I've also heard you better run like hell to your car if your team beats LSU.

I was talking to my New Orleans buddy the other day, who just so happened to get kicked out of DKR when they played here, and he clued me in that the only place LSU fans don’t go is Bama because “we’re scared of them because they always beat our ass. I don’t want any part of that shit talking.”

I don’t think he really got the irony in that statement.

Out of curiosity what did he do to get kicked out?

I was kicked out a Kansas State game as a student for smuggling Wild Turkey 101 in. We lost. No Ragrets.

He yelled “suck that tigah dick, bitch” to a ~12 year old and the kid’s parents didn’t take kindly to it. See? Irony.

Haha.

Some fat f*** Sooner family sat in the Texas section some years ago at the Cotton Bowl, and that would have been the nicest thing I said to them all day.

Most every OOC visiting team that's come to the Rose Bowl have generally been pretty good to great.  Maybe the best was Bama in I think 2000.  They came en masse.  They actually got Alabama State Troopers to escort a convoy of RV's and cars from Tuscaloosa to Pasadena.  They tailgated with style.  White tablecloths, real silverware, the whole 9 yards.  I think they were ranked #3 in the country, and as a certain Big 12 team can attest, don't matter none to us.  Beat 'em.  But instead of them being bitter, they invited our drunken asses to join them in postgame festivities and they were gracious in defeat.  I think they ended up sucking that year in the end though.

Other good travelling fan bases: Nebby, Tennessee, Texas (I guess), Whiskey, even aggy wasn't bad.  Until we got in the seats.  Then they were awful.

Coach Ogre loses analyst to Urban Meyer

Sources: LSU loses offensive aide to Urban Meyer, Jaguars

LSU is dealing with the departure of an offensive analyst just three months after joining Ed Orgeron's Tigers' staff.  😂😂😂

JOHN BRICE      4 HOURS AGO

The NFL giveth … and the NFL taketh away from LSU's coaching staff.

Sources tell FootballScoop that Kyle Caskey has departed his role as an offensive analyst on Ed Orgeron's Tigers' staff for a position on the staff of first-year Jacksonville Jaguars' coach Urban Meyer.

For Caskey, it's a return to pro football – where he spent the previous 11 seasons of his coaching career.

Caskey had broke into the NFL ranks as a quality control coach on Marvin Lewis' Cincinnati Bengals' staff before becoming their full-time running backs coach.

Then, he landed on Matt Patricia's Detroit Lions' staffs in the same capacity for both the 2019-2020 seasons.

However, Caskey wasn't retained in the Lions' transition to new coach Dan Campbell, and he joined the LSU staff in late May. Caskey was working with the Tigers' running backs group.

Now, LSU once again will shift to filling an analyst spot as quickly as possible with its season opener just nine days away at Chip Kelly's UCLA Bruins.

Though hardly as pressing as an on-field role, the vacant position still is an important one for an LSU staff featuring three new coaches on the offensive side of the ball – including coordinator Jake Peetz and passing game coordinator DJ Mangas – and trying to help the Tigers rebound from an up-and-down 5-5- 2020 campaign.

Cloak Room material.  It has no place here.  Mods, please move.  The right to attend paid sporting events on land grant university premises without proof of vaccination is so clearly laid out in the U.S. Constitution that y'all should be embarrassed for yourselves.

I got popped once leaving a Texas game with my flask in my back pocket. Put it in the boot on the way in nobody batted an eye! We won. No ragerts.

Had to go to a fun alcohol awareness class that would drive anyone to drinking. Was surrounded by freshman who got caught with booze in their dorms ;)

They took me over to Mike Myers and wrote me a warning. And then called my parents. Yes, really. I was 21 at the time. My parents were laughing their asses off on the other end of the phone.

I avoided the Alcohol Awareness class because I was 21.
