I don't pick up on satire well.  They aren't serious about invading Russia and hitting Crimea from the east, are they?

I don't think it is as accurate as this one was.

Lukashenko plans Moldova invasion as Belarus President ...

Edit:  And it was posted by a cat.

We are seeing just how much they relied on artillery to prop up their ground (infantry) forces.   Knock out ammo depots, reduce the amount of artillery available to provide a protective umbrella of sorts, and shit gets real.  And we know their ground units were already undermanned to begin with.

SIAP. Guessing the Russian had this video and was captured.

There are, apparently, amphibious BMPs. This might have been one, once. Maybe it had too many bullet holes. Maybe it is yet another example of great Russian maintenance practices.

Oh, come on, don't be ridiculous. Her other hand's holding the phone.

Her bean's getting off from the vibrations of the explosions up through her seat.

Couple of random thoughts

1 when planning an operation like this, are there branched plans based on previous losses?  Like we want to do this and that, and if we succeed, we do this with light losses but this with moderate losses?  If so, c&c must feel like they are dreaming and their stretchiest of goals are on the board and becoming more and more likely.

2 does zelensky just go back to making sitcoms when he’s done being president?  What a fucking CV.
actor- man of the house.  Xx episodes.

president- Ukraine.  Utilized cross functional team building and international relations skills to repel and eliminate invading Russian army.

Russian source Rybar claims Ukraine has reached the Oskil River, taking Sen'kove. He also claims Ukraine has captured Hrushivka and is knocking on the door in Kupiansk.

Updated salient map from pro-Russia source Rybar. UA still pushing NE, E and now closing on Izyum driving S + SW. Not shown on this map are the additional Ukrainian forces pushing north from S of Izyum.

This is a pro-Russia source. They're fucked.

I mean, I'm actually kinda impressed. At first, I was like, go ahead an gun it and sink. But then it worked. For an impressively long while. I think I'd take my chances riding on the deck of one of those over a Russian pontoon bridge.

Everybody should watch the Julia Davis video above, their talking heads are both contradicting one another, and clearly worried that shit is going wrong.

It’s like a Dave Chappelle sketch. You coudn’t have scripted it to be more awkward. The interesting thing is that now that things are really serious for them, they are talking less and less about nukes. The nuke threats are getting more and more veiled. Today it’s “why aren’t we bringing everything to the fight?”; when months ago they were showing mushroom clouds and tidal waves over Great Britain (yes and Ireland, but honestly, who cares about the Irish?) Anyway, now that it’s getting down to the nut-cuttin’ time on tactical nukes, it seems like they aren’t reaching for the football.

And the “bringing everything to the fight” these days sounds more like mass mobilization, including in the large cities, rather than nukes.

If those reports arr true of Duma members calling for Putin to be tried for treason because their losing and not because he started it in the first place, that's disconcerting.

Could Putin actually get overthrown and an even worse person get put in charge?

Putin has eliminated the kinds of people who would be a threat to him, which is a big part of the problem with shit getting done in Russia.

The upper people in the government, or who are insiders, including Putin’s propaganda people, want to vacation in the EU.  They want their overseas fortunes back.

I think if he gets overthrown it's gonna take awhile for one person to take over and stay there. Lots of different factions that want to do something once he's gone but are scared to do shit right now.

Always. But worse in this case is leaning towards "less competent."

Putin gets pushed out, I doubt there is a unified Russia if they are still trying to continue the fight in Ukraine.  If Putins gone, the only way to keep everyone in line is to get the cash flow rolling again and that only happens if the sanctions are dropped or reduced and the only way that happens is a RU withdrawal.
