The second that the Chief Justice swears in the next president, a squatter in the White House who won’t vacate for the new president becomes a physical threat to that president. The Secret Service forcing him out would be glorious.

it won't get to "the next president."  the Republican Party is a criminal organization actively engaged in voter suppression and the solicitation of foreign interference in elections.   they are not going to allow a legitimate election process whereby Trump can be "voted out of office."  Republicans are not going to play by the rules and hope that they win.

even in the unlikely event that Trump is defeated in the election and those results were allowed to be made public, 100% of Republican leaders would declare the results invalid and back Trump staying in office.   when was the last time any current Republican elected official - at any level - put country over party, and did the right thing?

right.  that's not going to magically start now, or anytime soon.

I was more thinking of the final scene when he's walking away from the school the football field (and it looks like trump was on some sort of athletic fields), And Judd Nelson throws his fist up in the air to the crescendo of "Don't You Forget About Me."

Dear Mister Trump,

We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole four years of your administration for whatever it is your base feels we did to them.  But we think you're crazy to make us listen to you ramble about who you think we are.  You see us as you want to see us.  In the simplest terms even your dumbass can understand, in the most convenient stereotypes; but what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, a success, and a patriot.  And you are the basketcase criminal.  Does that answer your question.

Sincerely Yours,

The Breakfast in America Club

That’s the most likely outlet for violence.

Remember, these people are failures at heart, and utterly gutless cowards. Attacking innocent civilians is as brave as they’ll ever get.

I've gotten into discussions with gun nuts, and challenged them on whether they think semi-auto AR-15 style rifles would be much help against an Abrams tank. The response is generally pointing to places like Iraq, where an insurgency can survive despite massive imbalances in weaponry.  Their hypothetical goal is not to defeat the government; it's to up the pain level to affect the government's actions.  This is also known as terrorism.  I don't think the vast majority of Trumpster gunnuts will do so if he loses. They envision themselves as the heroes in a Red Dawn inspired dystopian fantasy land. But with that basic mindset, it won't take much of a mental health spiral, or further radicalization, to drive some of them to do it.  And when Trump pushes the illegal immigrant voting narrative, it justifies their actions as defending real democracy rather than attacking it. The thing I always found so crazy about the Oklahoma City bombing was that the terrorist thought their actions would spark a revolution, as the people stood up to their government oppressors.  That kind of crazy only works if you think democracy has already been subverted.

Read the story. A loss doesn’t matter. It’s about control of the base. And he’ll keep it, via twitter and rallies. Control the base, control the party. It is 100% the party of Trump now. There’s no room for anything else. He’ll make sure of it.

I think you vastly overestimate both his competence and his health.

My bigger concern is Russian hackers changing results in - FL, PA, OH, WI

All four states are expected to be very close / toss up. Moving around 10k to 15k votes in each state, across several counties is all it would take.

Hackers could actually create more damage if they were ultimately caught or admitted changing votes.  At that point the entire election is suspect and the voters would simultaneously not accept the results or accept a new election.  We would see a new level of chaos.

I just don’t understand why the Democrat PR machine doesn’t list out a complete list of crap like this in a meme that gets posted all over social media. Surely a few of the idiot Trump supporters would start wondering about whether they’ve been hoodwinked by a grifter (narrator - yes they have).

Would a President Kerry/Heinz have had to repay all ketchup purchased (foreign component of emoluments)overseas or by any citizen?  Was Billy beer wrong?  Does the Pelosi winery need to be sold when she is president after the impeachments are done?

I haven't cared to read all about the intricacies of emoluments but it seems like Trump is attempting to pay/donate any foreign government monies/profit he has gained on a quarterly basis, and his government check for that matter.

The whole argument about his secret service costs is specious because all presidents get use of AF1 etc and actually are mandated to do so.(Trump has his own planes and helicopters they won't let him use)

It will be over soon.  Perp walk, wegothim.gif, etc, etc.

I don't see it happening. Old White base will fall off / lose interest. They'll be happy with sitting around and bitching about everything.

Remember that Trump base is growing weaker, not stronger. Look at the mid terms.

Trump could not get enough people to turn out in 2018, even though his base knew he could face impeachment if he lost the House.

Trump’s base could not keep a Kenyan, Muslim, Atheist, Socialist, Indonesian, Communist, Marxist, community organizer from Chicago named Barrack Hussein Obama out of the White House.  Twice.

Trump out of the White House and not on future ballots (Along with a lack of Hillary on the ballot) means a chunk of these people stay home.

Come January of 2021, Trump being an ex-President is useless to Moscow Mitch and the rest of the Republicans in Congress.  In fact, Trump may become a liability, especially if any investigations start hitting too close to home.   Trump will take everybody down with him.

You are correct.  While some nuts may try something, the vast majority of Trumpkins won’t do shit.  They have too much to lose, and I’m not talking about insulin deliveries stopping or not being able to easily charge a Rascal scooter.    They have retirement funds and Social Security they count on, they have their cable or satellite TV where Fox News where Tucker and Hannity can make them feel smart.   They may have government bailouts/handouts that are keeping their farm going.    They need electricity to power everything.

Many Trumpkins have comfortable, or at least stable, lives they do not want disrupted.   Some old fart behind his keyboard sounds tough and like he wants to violently bring down the Democrats when they win next year, but take away his electricity, his heat or his air conditioning, take away a cheap and easily available gasoline or diesel supply, and that old fart is in an absolute world of shit, and he knows it.

Ironically, the Democrats could do far more to help these old farts maintain their lives and provide more of a security net for them, but the Republicans have done an outstanding job of making them think the Dems want to take everything away.

That’s why the GOP is so scared.   When a Democrat takes the White House in January of 2021, not much, if anything, is going to change for your typical Trumpkin, and when they discover that not much has changed, and that things may even improve as relations with other countries are restored, the GOP will lose its power.

The John Kerry example should be something like President Kerry having a national ketchup day, and then raising the prices on Heinz bottles to $100 on that day.

But, here in the real world, we don't need to be making up crazy scenarios, as they're already happening.

You left out the part about DNC and Dem politicians buying pallets of Heinz ketchup at $100 a bottle.

Y'all need to read up more on how insurrection leads to civil war.  It won't be pretty, it won't be coordinated, and it won't be successful, but it will be ugly.

Revolutions are earned paid for with the blood of the young, not a bunch of impotent olds that cower when outed.

This is a bunch of saber rattling at best. Only a few morons on their side and crazies will act out as they already have. Those in power on their side will simply seek to profit by muddying the waters and using propaganda or abusing their positions to suppress votes as they have always done.

This is Trump's base. If it were a movie on Amazon Prime.

Quote

John Wilson wakes up, gets ready for his day and heads to work. He has no idea that he's being watched, tracked and studied. Is he a threat to national security? Is he a terrorist or a criminal? No, he's an ordinary American citizen. Like everyone else, John's rights and freedoms have been systematically destroyed - all in the name of security and convenience. Is it about peace and unity? Or is it about ultimate global power? What if there were hidden forces with no ties to democracy or constitutional rights in power? What if new laws, media propaganda and Secret Societies labeled John a danger to society? And what if all this set the stage for a Biblically prophesied global government run by the Antichrist?

It has been scientifically proven that there is a 100 percent correlation between eating a well done steak with ketchup and mental illness.

First fucking clue to his base---how the fuck can you sell steak when all you do is brag about how well done you like your steak with ketchup, and then you proclaim to sell the best wine even though you've never drank?  I can respect someone who never drinks.  I can even tolerate someone who likes burnt steaks.  But how does someone who has never paired decent steak with decent wine know anything about anything?  He should be doused in ketchup and shot out a cannon.

The account that Trump retweeted over the weekend that named the alleged whistleblower came from @surfermom77.  I searched that name when the news broke and it stayed in my Recent Searches.  Throughout the weekend I periodically visited the account, and both the username and handle changed no less than 5 times over the following few days.  Currently, the account identifies itself as "Gigi" with the handle "@LovelyGigi33."  (Seriously, if you search surfermom77, you'll see a ton of tweets from when the news broke all now linking to this Gigi person instead of surfermom.)  Without knowing that this link exists, however, it would appear to any random twitter user that this Gigi "lady" is a completely new Trump supporter, not the exact same account that was retweeted by Trump only a few days ago.

I know this isn't news to anyone who has been paying attention, but it's just crazy to watch these obviously fake accounts spread disinformation in real time.  Even crazier that the fucking President of our country gives them a platform.
