Well, they have to win a road game against a ranked team at some point, right?

Right??

Graham is on it, coach!!

He really starts mathing lower in the article. Basically, it doesn't really matter what your W-L record is from what I understand but how many teams that beat you remain ranked?

Ranked opponents doesn't include road losses to Miss State, Ole Miss, S. Carolina, et al.. They haven't done well against insanely beatable opponents either. That Covid victory for Texas againt OSU back in 2020 would not have been a lay-up for the Aggies. They weren't the wronged juggernaut that they claim they were.

The record vs ranked opponents only comes up when they play ranked opponents. This appears to the writer above to be a dispensation from facing the full dismal picture.

Also, does he factor in the low percentage of games A&M plays away from home?

Never change, aggy

I swear to god aggy is like a 5 yr old kid.

Absolutely has 0 patience to let a few things go before opening their mouth.

Treat them same way you treat the 5yr old.
Smile and say okay.

My favorite part is that their losses are to TCU and SMU. Teams aggy deems beneath them.

Fake news.  That QB is far more accurate than Reed will be Saturday.  I never once completed a pass, or ever saw a pass completed, with that game, but I'm confident about my observation.

God help us if they find some way to pull off a win this Saturday.

It'll be exactly what they claimed Texas was doing with the whole "We're Back" shit.

BUTTT, it'll make their inevitable march to 4 losses that much more hilarious.

Is that Case on the left side running backwards?

4th most watched of what is captured.  Nielsen data doesn't cover games on SECN, ACCN, ESPN News, CBSSN  and any ESPN+ or Peacock games.

You would think it would still be #4 if those games/channels were included.

I was in an airport yesterday coming home and watching some aggie dude in the boarding area wear a zip up hoodie with "Texas Aggies" as uncomfortably large as possible on the front. Then it hit me. In yet another classic aggie maneuver, they have chosen to boil the ocean of trying to unbrand the largest brand name in college sports and then rebrand it for themselves. When people say "Texas", there are zero people in the world who think about the Aggies. Their brand is "A&M". Not Texas A&M...just "A&M". When people say that, they immediately know who is being referred to. It is not a bad brand at all, but it is not what they are pouring money into. They missed their window to call themselves Texas State, which would have been a very smart rebranding for them. But now, they are continuing to waste money and look stupid by fucking the chicken of "Texas Aggies". A big rule of technology sales is to never reply to your competitor by name, because they have spent billions building up their brand to mean something. By not using their name, you strip them of all of that marketing power. But true to form, our competitor has just emblazoned our brand across their chests. Never change aggy.

My favorite part is that their own university website states that "A&M" no longer stands for anything. It's just symbolic. To your point, they should've re-branded as Texas State back in the 60's after they went co-ed.

Fuck aggy

I guarantee that within 10 years their apparel will drop the “Aggies” and they’ll try to claim ownership of Texas.

Believe it or not, there was a time when it was fairly common for people outside of the state to ask "Texas Aggies?" when they met a UT grad.  It seemed to gain the most traction during and shortly after the Jackie Sherrill years.

And, the football teams in "Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" (1978) are the "Texas Aggies" and the "Longhorns".
