Also, that Milley article that's been quoted for Luis Avila is a pretty good read.  https://www.textise.net/showText.aspx?strURL=https%3A//www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2023/11/general-mark-milley-trump-coup/675375/#main-content

I think this is my favorite quote showing what an epic, ignorant, unfit dumbshit Trump is:

Quote

Kelly escorted Milley to the Oval Office. Milley saluted Trump and sat across from the president, who was seated at the Resolute Desk.

“You’re here because I’m interviewing you for the job of chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,” Trump said. “What do you think of that?”

Milley responded: “I’ll do whatever you ask me to do.” At which point, Trump turned to Kelly and said, “What’s that other job Mattis wants him to do? Something in Europe?”

Kelly answered, “That’s SACEUR, the supreme allied commander in Europe.”

Trump asked, “What does that guy do?”

“That’s the person who commands U.S. forces in Europe,” Kelly said.

“Which is the better job?” Trump asked.

Kelly answered that the chairmanship is the better job. Trump offered Milley the role. The business of the meeting done, the conversation then veered in many different directions. But at one point Trump returned to the job offer, saying to Milley, “Mattis says you’re soft on transgenders. Are you soft on transgenders?”

That's what this is all about.

Excuse me Kelly, what’s the SAUCE DE JOUR?

“It’s the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe, Mr. President.”

Mmmm, that sounds good.  Let’s do that.

While calling Dems and Libruhls Commies.  Because reality isn't where they live and vote.

It's good to know he can take his mind off of his legal issues and campaigning every now and then; to post things of importance:

The last sentence of his rant about Stern is such an "on the nose" self description it's uncanny. Has dotard become self aware?

It's just a nice thing to say, you know? He's always full of positive affirmations. Makes the world a better place to live.

Lol what happened with Howard Stern to get dipshit all riled up?

Is he only being prosecuted in the federal system?

In one post you discussed the disaster of a “failure to convict”, but also, where applicable (state cases) you discuss mot bargaining for anything less than prison. Prosecutors often have to weigh those two things. For DOTARD, and this question isn’t loaded at all, would you support the prosecution agreeing to a really light sentence, possibly without real confinement, if it meant a conviction of the offenses?

Personally, I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I think I might be ok with it, simply because the scenario of a long drawn out trial resulting in an acquittal makes blood lose from my ears.

I don't know.  I understand the point above that the motivation should be to keep him from retaking office, but that's not really something the legal system should be concerned with.  They should be trying to convict guilty parties and doing as much as possible to ensure a reasonable sentence.  My layman's opinion is that Trump has done plenty to warrant prison time, but I'm not an attorney or a legal historian.

I started counting how many pro-Trumpers I know that would watch that video and their first thought would be, "I bet that colored man has marijuana in his system when he disrespected authority like that" but I got tired and passed out.

old video but I don't remember seeing it

Ugh, as a Palmetto State Armory customer, I'm aware of their politics and don't really mind them but hosting somebody under felony indictment really seems gross.

Also check out Jamin McCallum's super terrible gun safety and handling on display in this video. @Brisketexan what would your father done if he had seen you do this? I know what mine would have done.

What's the name of the Armory in South Carolina?

So nothing matters, right?

America first. Glock is a good American company , right?

and no I don’t care if some Gump in South Carolina modded 80% of it and then marked it up crazy high.  It’s still Austrian.

Is there a 5th Avenue in SC?   Maybe he will finally shoot a man in the face (himself) on 5th Avenue.

Dear lord:

Sounds like his campaign was pretty adamant later to say dipshit didn't buy anything after all. Guess somebody in his team realized what was about to happen.

Sigh.  You mean the pointing of the gun at.....everyone on the left side of that room?  Sure, my dad would be livid.

But, when you realize that none of that matters, because "guns" are no longer "dangerous firearms, to be treated with appropriate caution, safety, and respect for their lethality," and are instead now talismans of a psychotic cult that waves them around as a symbol of the wielder's power and willingness to hurt people, that conduct makes perfect sense.

Guns are not tools that are treated with the proper respect.  They are symbols flaunted by a cult.

My head reflexively twitched watching this, because my pops would have smacked me on my ear hole if I handled a pistol like this.

Did the campaign or someone working for him buy it for him? Did they leave with the gun? Seems like it’d be pretty easy to find out

He never spends his own money on anything, so there’s no way in hell he actually bought this gun

Have they dipped that gun in gold and auctioned it off for millions of dollars to support trump?   They don't even have to give it to anyone...just declare it 'the people's gun' and raise $20 a pop until you hit God knows how much...

No, they haven't?  That's only because they're too stupid to think of that idea.

They had better not, because he is under indictment and there is a specific question about that on the 4473.

In all seriousness, isn't it a hard and fast rule that former Presidents can never drive a car or handle a handgun ever again as per Secret Service guidelines?  Like, they can go hunting with certain long rifles/shotguns but even then under close supervision.  But they can't just dick around with pistols for fun.  I swear that's a rule somewhere told to me literally by Secret Service.

Should subtract 30% instead of adding it because of the name attached to it.
