Because Iran's "imminent" ability to obtain nuclear arms was something that we all cared very much about two weeks ago.

biden let a lot of iranian super cells in but ICE is spending all its time on landscapers and kitchen staff?  weird.

And US citizens. But that hasn't bothered anyone from the "arrest all illegals!" crowd.

Wonder why?

And Palestinians still get shot up waiting in lines for humanitarian aid distribution.

Here is a great explainer article about Iran’s nuclear program, and how it was structured to show compliance while still progressing to nukes. It was written before Saturday’s strike. Don’t waste your time reading it if you are pre-set to believe and argue a position on either side.

The fact of the matter is, any nation operating a nuclear reactor can pretty easily breed plutonium out of U238 and then chemically separate it, rather than dealing with the comparatively extremely difficult isotope separation. That's how we ended up with Little Man - it's far easier to breed plutonium from depleted uranium via neutron bombardment than to separate and enrich U235.

Genocide is genocide, no matter the ethnicity of its victims.

By posting that reply, he proves he's the type of guy who -- had he been raised in early 20th-century Germany -- would've totally been on board with gassing Jews.

Total sociopath, bereft of morals, and deserving of damnation. Also, dumber than a bag of hammers.

Sorry, forgot to add this one which is today's fresh pile of corpses:

Israel kills 40 in further Gaza bloodshed after reaching truce with Iran | Reuters

It's not enough to slowly starve them all to death, we also have to mow them down while they desperately try to get food from these killbox aid sites.

Don’t you see, those kids are all terrorists!  They must be shot.  Hamas is using those toddlers as shields.  Those Israeli soldiers have to first put a sniper bullet in the 3 years head, then their heart, and only then can they kill the Hamas terrorist using them as a shield.  Hamas was hiding in every building in Gaza so Israel had no choice but to blow up every single building.  Then when the people that lived in those homes went to dig up their dead ones, they have make sure to drop more bombs on them to make sure they don’t help the dead Hamas in the rubble.  Oh don’t forget the refugee camps of the displaced innocent civilians living in tents!  You see, Israel’s technology is so great, they can see through buildings and send precise missiles into Iran to kill their leaders.  But those tents are made of a special cloth where they can’t see all the Hamas hiding in them.  So their only choice is to bomb the entire refugee camps.   As for the food, who the hell do you think those 80 lb starving kids are getting flour for?!  For Hamas man,  they must be shot while running to get food.  Can you imagine all the bombs Hamas could put inside baked cakes from all that flour?!  And hospitals?! Bomb those too because Hamas has bases under them… only a sick person would put a military base under a hospital!! Oh wait, Israel’s military base is under a hospital too?  But that doesn’t count… they just don’t have enough stolen land to build their bases, that’s why they keep theirs under a hospital.  And fuck all the medical devices in the Gaza hospitals.  The soldiers have no choice but to break all the imaging equipment and medical devices.  Imagine if the humanitarians treated Hamas for cancer?!

Btw, the stuff you posted is nothing.  There’s plenty of videos of kids with blown off limbs crying for their dead parents.  Or you could post the interviews of all the doctors that have spent time down there that have had to do amputations and tracheotomies with no local anesthetic on kids.  Sorry for the rant, but I will hop on this thread daily and remind everyone about the genocide and war crimes being committed with our tax dollars by funding Netanyahu and his extremist party with weapons and missiles.

This crazy fuck is gonna bomb Israel isn't he?

In all fairness, I think that’s his negotiating tool. I haven’t read The Art of The Deal. But unpredictability when we have the world’s greatest military can be both scary and also a flex. No one knows what he might do. We did learn when he says two weeks he means less than 24 hours so we got a cheat sheet code. I don’t negotiate with people so I have no idea if it’s an asset to be unpredictable or not…they just better hope they can swim if I’m involved  😉

Trump is transactional and he feels Israel especially Bibi is being ungrateful after we did it the favor of striking the three sites. However our uniparty foreign policy gang is going to steer him away from actually retaliating against Israel outside of angry Truths and snarky call-in media hits on Fox News.

Fantana is right. Nothing has fundamentally changed on the ground for Iran since Israel started this war. Trump wanted to feel like a badass and for a weekend he got many pats on the back from republicans and liberals alike with no media attention whatsoever on how incredibly fucking illegal it was, not to mention hypocritical compared to the media's coverage of Russia threatening a Ukrainian nuclear facility. Very smart people have known for decades that those are sensitive targets with huge ecological repercussions for the region. We don't want another Chernobyl or Fukushima.

The media has really disappointed me, and the bar was already incredibly low.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/early-us-intel-assessment-suggests-strikes-iran-did-not-destroy-nuclear-sites-2025-06-24/

WASHINGTON, June 24 (Reuters) - An early U.S. intelligence assessment indicated that the U.S. military strikes on three of Iran's nuclear facilities last week did not destroy the core components of Tehran's nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing three people briefed on it.
"This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong," CNN quoted White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt as saying.

it really is fucking ridiculous how consistently you can take it to the bank that the opposite has happened whenever our Commander in Chief, President Trump proclaims something is "pretty well destroyed!"

I think @956 Worldwide's post yesterday is right. Iran's ability to both project force and to defend itself have been seriously impacted, their proxies they thought would help have shown themselves unreliable partners, as have Russia and China. The status quo isn't the same.

However, it seems that all we've accomplished is a small delay in their nuclear program. In exchange for that delay, we've made them much likelier to pursue a bomb ASAP, have essentially destroyed international nonproliferation, gave Russia and China some new info on the B-2's capabilities and shown them that our bunker busters may not get the job done.  Oh, and we've made it much likelier that Iran will be ruled by even more hardliners going forward.

You can see how Israel sees all of this as a victory for them. But it's hard to see how it's a victory for us.

Yeah I think I agree with all of this. Another point is that I suspect we will start hearing more rumblings about discontent within the IRGC, which would indicate a coup could be coming. There's just about no chance that regime change in that form would be favorable to us, though.
