JD Vance, trying to sound authentic and humble, just told a story about driving in Kentucky with his grandma when he was 4 years old, says his grandmother pulled a 44 Magnum on a motorcyclist for giving them the middle finger. Obviously bullshit story but it's fucking weird that he thinks "grandmother driving a 4 year old around with a loaded magnum" is charming and impressive (or even somehow relevant to an election).

Article at link, video of the relevant portion of the speech (in front of an audience of approx. 10 people) is at the bottom

Counterpoint: what's more relatable to Americans than escalating road rage into potential gun violence?

What if Biden holds the press conference and says that he can state on good authority that the misdemeanoring ways of Harris and Walz are over?

From Ezra Klein's interview with Pelosi:

Quote

And look at Kamala. She ran against the incumbent [Terence Hallinan, the San Francisco district attorney]. I was actually for him, because he was for me. And his family, the Hallinan family, was a major Democratic progressive family. And she ran against him. She won. So she had courage to go forward. And then when she ran for state attorney general, it was a very tough race. But she figured out a way.
So when people talk about her, I say: “You know what? She’s not only a person of deep faith, which I personally admire in her — and her commitment to public service. She knows what she cares about, and she fights for it. And politically she’s astute, but you don’t realize it.” And then she got to be vice president. And as soon as there was an opportunity — we thought there could be an open opportunity if people wanted to run, and they could have — but she locked it down right away.

Tell me about how she did that. She coalesced the party very rapidly.

None of us had any idea Biden would announce his withdrawal that Sunday. Well, I didn’t have any idea. Most people didn’t. So when he did that, the thought was everybody wanted an open process. Let’s see the bench of the Democrats and let them compete and see what they can attract. But when he endorsed her, then it was, are you with Kamala or not? And she moved quickly — again, a sign of her adroitness, in terms of being politically astute.

Our goal is to make sure that Donald Trump never sets foot in the White House. Because he’s beyond weird. I won’t go into all the adjectives. When you make a decision about your goal, you have to make every decision in favor of reaching that goal. But the most important part of the decision is the candidate and the campaign. And it didn’t seem as if there was a campaign in place, and it was discouraging to people.

So when an opportunity presented itself, people grasped it because it was, well, I’d like to see an open thing. But then when it got in, we’re running with the ball. I always say to them, I have the three M’s, but we have the three No’s — no wasted time, no underutilized resources and no regrets the day after the election.

It's pretty clear Pelosi wasn't behind Harris as the replacement candidate and wanted there to be some sort of contested primary.  She can claim credit for the pressure campaign to force Biden out of the race, but it was Biden and Harris that turned what really should've been a fucking disaster into a great move.

Silver is really sucking off that Nevada Trump +5 poll, while ignoring the Harris +6 poll.  I guess he's giving a lot of weight to the Trafalgar Trump +3 poll too - which you should never put stock in a Trafalgar poll. They just spammed the averages with a Trump +3 NV, Trump +4 NC, Trump +2 PA, Trump +1 AZ

JD thinks about a screaming woman giving birth when he cums.

My humble suggestion is that we start a rumor that Vance is against giving women epidurals before childbirth

I mentioned a few pages back that I had to sign back up for xhitter to follow some nonsense involving a client. It’s now force feeding me by push notification donold’s bullshit, specifically the one posted above from the “things he says on truth” account. I haven’t liked or followed anything since creating the new account, only lurked. This should be fucking illegal, but there probably is no recourse, right? Fuck this country sometimes.

just start digging into Project 2025 there's something like that in there (or worse).

BTW I did a quick search on that document and Trump's name is EVERYWHERE. Really hard for him to distance himself from it considering it's all about instituting and/or expanding on his policies.

Nah, it's cool that he's still playing the hits. He's about to experience what he didn't want in 2008 when this show aired, another black president.

Would have been cool if these videos and audio clips came out before he got elected to the fucking Senate.

True, but then his running mate might have been Tulsi Gabbard.

Imagine hearing that and not being clued in that he is a moron conman.

"This stock market is up! It's because of me! No wait it's down. That's because of Biden. Or Harris. Or both. Wait it's back up, because of me!"

I assume Jordan Peterson and other middling intellects who style themselves as great thinkers. It also seems like the kind of verbiage and syntax that impresses Rogan devotees.

Also getting LonghornLaw/Laphroig/other names vibes from Vance's speaking style and thoughts on family shit in general.

The MAGA era is gonna come to an end because some weird dude couldn't stop going on podcasts 5 years ago.  Unreal.

Harris HQ needs to send out social messaging showing photographs of JD Vance talking to the empty chairs, and a screenshot with the giant crowd at the airport Harris rally - the AI one.

nothing gets the toddler angrier than not claiming the most people at a rally

Did anyone here read Trump’s Agenda 47 a month or so ago? It looks like they completely scrapped what they had and have changed to a new platform with 20 points. Gone is the military exams for kids in public school and other insane shit.

I’m not imagining that it’s changed, right?

There was a tweet from a few days ago that said NC was now Trump's #2 ad spend. They've already got internals that say it's close there.

All current polls pointing to a Harris dub and we’re up 5% since that day he’s talking about.

I assume since NYT/Siena did the upper Midwest last week, we will get NC/GA/AZ/NV this weekend

That debate is going to be like Biden vs Palin in 08. Expectations are going to be so low it will be almost impossible for Vance to sink to them.

It won't be a debate. It will be Vance trotting out the same terrible talking points, lying about Walz's positions, and not answering any question asked of him. Watch him any time he's with the press to get a preview.

Don't underestimate the stupidity of the right. There heads are so far up Vance's ass that when it's Trump's birthday he's gonna cum all over their faces.

ummmm  Florida already has this... and has for a long long time.   I happened to be really sick the day of the exam...vitamin D deficiency, so I recovered at the beach with my also sick friends.

Recruiters kept calling me to come in and take the mandatory test, but I just ignored them.
