A few tidbits from Friedrich Trump’s Wiki page:

  • He left Germany to avoid military service
  • He ran a whorehouse
  • He died in a pandemic

Which would be fine if they just wouldn’t fucking vote. Go have your fake moron parties and hate the libs. Just let the adults actually run shit.

He’s going directly to blaming everything on Spanish speaking immigrants. He’s got nothing left so he’s going after people. It was easier to ignore when he was just constantly trying to dunk on political rivals.

That's the problem, ignoring him until it's too late. He's always making horrific childish, dangerous, comments about immigrants and anyone that he thinks stood up to him. And the problem is when people ignore him or think he's funny and just blow him off. Then they forget how awful and chaotic his 4 years in office were and how bad he was for this country and the world.

1) Before the ‘16 election?
2) Is it easier to the ideas fight one man or an entire ethos of a party?

He’s been all over the place on it for 40 years, just like everything else.
Also, what ethos? Political parties don’t Ethos. They are coalitions of interests. That’s it, and that’s all. And you should understand that better than anybody.
I meant it as a compliment- people who support a political candidate because they think it will yield a policy outcome are smart. People who support a candidate because they want to vote for someone who feels and thinks like they are extremely naive.

MAGA's real agenda is White Christian Nationalism. As long as Trump is largely on that train they will ignore any other nonsensical thing that clown does. Better yet they will defend it. That is why they are yelling you will not replace us, and holding up mass deportation signs at rallies.

Trump has crashed the economy. Driven a wedge into families. Ended a wildly popular 50 year old piece of legislation. Fumbled the only crisis he had under his administration. Said there were very fine people on both sides. Insulted all women. Insulted black people. Insulted AND disrespected military MULTIPLE TIMES. Mocked a disabled reporter. Muslim ban. Killed Net Neutrality. Raped someone. Paid a pornstar to cover up his infidelity. Said grab em by the pussy. Said he can go in and look at pageant participants naked, sometimes under age. Put his kids in the West Wing. Tried to withhold aide to Ukraine unless they dug up dirt on Hunter Biden. Got convicted of 34 felonies. Separated families at the border. Showed classified info. Stacked the Supreme court. Praised Putin, and conducted 5 private meetings with him. Wrote love letters to Kim Jong Un. Tried to get rid of the popular ACA. Cut taxes for the wealthy. Started trade wars with China. Pulled the US out of the Iran Deal and Paris Accords. Said he was pulling out of NATO. Said he won't defend anyone that is delinquent financially. Tried to get Georgia to produce votes. Tried to steal an election. TRIED TO OVERTHROW THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.

If that doesn't stop you from pulling the lever for someone. Nothing will. Not spaced on purpose btw.

I think it’s important to acknowledge that most of his supporters don’t care, and quite of few of them actively support those things.

I would characterize voting for president exactly the opposite of this. I frankly consider people who vote for president on domestic policy the dumbest of the dumb.

I do t think I made myself clear- I’m making a distinction between voting on the basis of policy positions (dumb) and voting on the basis of the anticipated outcome (rational).

In other words, if you think Ted Cruz sucks, but didn’t want you AR-15s taken away, you should have voted for Beto. Because there is no chance he could take your AR-15 away if he won, but the outcome would certainly remove Ted Cruz from office.
Likewise I know a lot of pro-lifers who cared more about abortion in 2016 than anything else. They knew Donald Trump was personally all over the place on abortion and a giant piece of shit in general and didn’t care. Because the outcome would be a higher probability of overturning Roe with him in office. They were right.
In other words people (like businesses) should think about politics in terms of what they want to happen, not the mouth noises they find most pleasing.

OK, yeah I understand more now what you mean. Agree that outcome is obviously the goal. My take is usually more that people don't understand the function of the executive.

I think that perception has shifted over the years.  My dad used to say his vote for POTUS was all about foreign policy, and I don't think that was an uncommon viewpoint at the time.  Now a huge swath of voters seem to focus on domestic policy (outcome as per bozo).

Donald Trump is surrendering to his advisors who won't allow him to debate with a live microphone. If his own team doesn't have confidence in him, the American people definitely can’t. We are running for President of the United States. Let’s debate in a transparent way—with the microphones on the whole time.

You know as well as I do that the writer doesn't have control of the headline/ tweet. This is the editorial staff fucking up and then getting called out on it and doubling down again on the same bullshit. They made this shitstorm. They can deal with the stink.

I still can't believe the question was even asked in the first place. Stop legitimizing crazy stupid racist shit he spews.

I just looked it up.

You forgot he was impeached twice.   Twice.   That’s a Gaelic word, not Swedish, Mr drumpf.

Look at that tiny mushroom shaped penis!

I like Biden in a corner with a dunce hat and being stabbed in the back.  It’s lovely how Republicans are still so upset that he’s not in the race.

Usha Vance was a practicing lawyer until July 2024 when she resigned to “care for her family.” How coincidental

I agree with @Bozo_Casanova and @G650 sentiments on it, but curious if the shift had anything to with the skyrocketing rise in EO’s over the last several administrations.  Circumventing Congress for every want drastically changes the arithmetic.

You know, if Harris and the Dems pull this off….on top of Biden’s election, and 100 other things in the past decade or so, someone needs to write the piece on “How black people saved America even though the rest of us sure as hell didn’t deserve their help.”
We just keep getting clubbed over the head with the truth that black America is the best of America. Maybe we’ll collectively acknowledge that one day. But probably not. Because we’re shitty. Yet the black folks still save us.

She kept semi-pausing there because I don’t think she thought she would get that far without being cut off. Did well though and had the advantage of being true.

Hint: gotta be careful when you add that chicken broth. It can be saltier than you think, so hold back on any other salt until later in the process. I’ve ended up with a batch that was way too salty. I’m sure Kamala accounts for that.

Weigh your total.  No more than 1 tsp salt per pound of food & liquid.  Stock will show "sodium" grams per serving, scale for total amount and divide by 0.39 to get equivalent salt (NaCl).

EDIT:  I forgot to add that there are 14.4 grams Morton's coarse ground kosher salt per tablespoon (4.8 grams per teaspoon).  An alternative is about 1.8 grams SODIUM (not salt) per pound of food.  Liquids weigh ~ 8 lb per gallon.  Yes, I am anal retentive about this shit, I was so frustrated by "salt to taste" that I had to work out the math myself.

Last night's rally was 57 miles east of Pittsburgh in a county of 133k inside a small arena. Photos to compare last night versus 8 years ago.
