Trump or a woman that failed to make it to Iowa in 2020. Biden didn’t like her. Democrats didn’t even like her. Pick someone better or STFU.

Can't disagree.

Biden screwed that up. He should have announced in 2021 he was only going to serve one term.

I mean he all but said it all through the 2020 election and I voted for him on that understanding.

All very infuriating. We should have had another full Primary. But nothing I didn't spend all 2023 and 2024 bitching about.

OK, so you have concerns with some of Trump's policy positions.  What exactly was it that allowed you to accept those concerns and vote for him anyway?  What was the issue that you just couldn't get past?

Cool.  I pick... pretty much anyone who doesn't openly say they want to be a dictator and end the rule of law and constitutional checks and balances, because with that shit in place, nothing else matters.

You don't like the fucking color of the carpet, so you burn the whole house down, and blame the OTHER party for not offering the color carpet you wanted.  Fucking complete idiocy.

Like i said. When your party is so out of touch and lost that they couldn’t get together and pick someone better than Kamala. You didn’t even get to choose your Democratic candidate. Trump was so bad and shitty. Should have been easy to find someone to beat him. CRY HARDER.

That’s the second time you’ve brought that up out of nowhere lmao. Reach deeper in your pockets and you may find your dick in there somewhere

Is your argument actually that Donald Trump was the least bad option? That’s a real thing you think?

The Southern border. Kamala being a weak candidate. Not using available energy sources in America. I also think higher of Vance than Trump.

The fact that yall have spent 4 pages and the whole morning arguing about transgender policy is why people have no idea the real bad shit is going on.

This isnt the real issue, it certainly has an impact on a small percentage of the population, but it is mainly to display cruelty, create division and distract the conversation.

Oh, please. People have plenty of idea the real bad shit that is going on.

Don’t fall for this bullshit dude. Thats all just window dressing. Everyone with a brain knows that Kamala, or Hilary for that matter, may not have been perfect but they certainly were better than Donald fucking trump.

There it is. So it wasn’t really about Kamala then.

God I hope not. But I can't know the future. It isn't like a third term hasn't been mentioned.

Well, and I can only speak for myself, a third Donald Trump term is literally the last thing I worry about with regard to the future of American politics.

President Vance, however . . .

Well there is certainly many more immediate concerns to be worried about.

Yeah he was lying. I knew it and many others did. But when I talked about it I was fear mongering apparently.

And look it's all happening. Awesome.

They say it's happening.

They're also losing in court.

Dismantling the federal bureaucracy is going to be much harder than they think. They can put up as many numbers as they want. That doesn't mean they are accurate or that they are achieving the goals they set for themselves. We won't know how much they actually shrink the government for quite some time.

If Kamala Harris was such a bad POTUS candidate then the Democrats wouldn't have nominated her as VP on the same ticket as an aging Joe Biden.  The risks were way above zero that she would have had to take over the Oval Office at some point.

I’m more open to that. I know not everything is absolutes. But to let a pre pubescent child with clearly defined genitals take hormones bc they identify differently? I disagree with.

So don’t do it to your kids. Why do you want the government, that you hate and mistrust, to force us all to live to your belief system?

I don’t think that’s the issue. The issue is the parents should not allow their child to take gender hormones at an early age. When is too young? If you want to embark on that journey by all means have at it. why not wait til 18?

This is not fucking happening. You have heard it repeated so many times that you believe it must be true, otherwise many people would not be saying it.

Post some actual citations to your claims if you want to try to argue that your apparent single biggest issue is even a real problem.

I didn't ask you to get into a shit slinging match. I asked you, specifically, whether YOU carried the opinion during 2020-2024 that the inflation during covid was largely out of the president's control, or did you think Biden fucked up the economy. It's a very simple question you've now failed to answer 3 times.

The issue is you, or the government making choices that should be made by patients, their family, and their medical professionals based on their specific situation.

Well because of puberty. But maybe they shouldn't. Fortunately very few of us will have to make a hard decision like that.

And that sounds like something for the parents and a medical professional to decide.

But I guess if we were to compromise I could see doing puberty blockers until 18 if that the parents and a medical professional decide is best for the child's health. Then the child can consent.

But I don't have a trans kid so I don't know exactly how this works.

I can't get over the fact that Trump seems to be pulling this off given his obviously limited intellect, which is likely compromised further by age.  I guess I always thought dictators were evil geniuses, but in reality it seems far more important for them to be able to garner the blind support of a significant fraction of the people and weaponize their fears.  That doesn't take smarts per se, it takes audacity and "charisma" (for lack of a better word).

Musk is no dummy, but is as much of an opportunist as he is a crafty thinker.  He seems to be Trump's Hermann Göring.  All dictators need a right hand man who will actually do the work.  Here we are.

Trump’s a figurehead for a movement.  He’s just signing executive orders that others have authored and playing golf.

No, you said the PRICE OF EGGS was something the president had little control over. I'm asking if you believed the same, which you have STILL directly failed to answer, about the inflation from 2020-2024, or if you thought Biden caused it?

At some point close to the end of trumps term, if he doesn't die of natural causes, Thiel/Musk/Vance are going to take their shot to 25th amendment trump out of office.  They'll need to come up with some weird coalition to get 2/3rd of Congress to vote Vance in, but they'll find a way through intimidation and money whipping.

But probably he's going to die of mcdonalds before it comes to that so it'll be clean.
