The DC circuit has ruled that even though Congress has the power of the purse, there’s only one person in the entire United States who has standing to actually seek relief over illegal impoundment (the head of the GAO). So if he or she doesn’t, everyone else can just get fucked.

Oh, and the head of the GAO is appointed by the president and the current one will see his term expire this year.

America sure was a decent idea.

It was a 2-1 panel with Katsas and Rao giving the win to the Trump. They are political hacks and were only appointed bc they are political hacks. Both pining for Sotomayor’s seat. I can’t stress enough how they are mental midgets

Hispanic men began leaving in 2016, and now you saw it in 2024 with black men.

This brings up an interesting point. The shittier you treat a group, the more they vote for you. 2028 gonna be buck wild when Newsom proposes to bring back slavery, forbid women from working, driving or voting, and exterminate the Mexicans. I wish it didn’t have to be this way but them’s the new rules.

She's trying,  but was denied. He retired early for medical because he had sarcoidosis, and then fought leukemia twice.  She's only 60 and took early retirement to take care of him.

They cut her benefits to around 50% as soon as she filed for survivor benefits when he passed.

I think the problem for your MIL is that he took benefits before FRA and from the little I've read on the subject part of the criteria for survivor's benefits is that he had to have reached FRA before drawing SS.

Isn't Markwayne Mullin the guy who challenged somebody to a fight in the middle of Congress?

Now he's scared to sit in a locked car through a 60-second red light?

This makes it seem like he may not actually be a tough guy.  Like, I dunno, man, maybe the first thing was performance art or something?

Well, he's about 5-8 or so, which explains everything.  That and "markwayne."

You think hiring someone to lie about made up economic and labor statistics is good executive leadership? Of course you do, you dipshits gobble up comforting lies like MTG gobbles CrossFit cock.

LOL yes, it was the president of the Teamsters. Apparently they're friends now, in a true enemies-to-lovers story.

Bankrupting six companies is definitely the sign of a great executive.

What's better than bankrupting six companies? Bankrupting an entire country!

Funny enough @kibbles private messaged me asking me to throw hands in downtown Austin.  @kibbles I’m about 5k miles from downtown Austin but I’ll pass.  Some of us have families and a life to lose.    You have to have thicker skin to post here.  You will get negged if you post things that people disagree with
