I kind of feel bad for Napier. He seems like hes completely in over his head.

He would be in over his head in a game of checkers against a wall.

For anyone going to the game. don't miss the Surly Horns/Burnt Ends tailgate in the heart of the campus located just just five minutes from the stadium. Should be fun, with breakfast and lunch fare, local craft beers all before the Horns triumph over the forces of darkness. Scan the QR code to reserve your tickets.

Not expecting this to be an easy game at all here. I expect FL to play desperate coming out of a bye week and there is a lot of talent on that squad.

He's their Turtle Tom.   I guess I forgot about his resume and it looks like Florida did the same damn thing when we hired Tom- hire the media driven name because of a great season or two at a non Power four(or five when they hired him).

Yea seems spot on. Dont know much about Napier and now that I think about it I think Im feeling bad for him because I was told one time that hes a good dude. For all I actually know hes not. With Herman he went off the reservation before he even started with us. Just an epic dipshit.

Napier did not offer updates on sophomore defensive tackle Michai Boireau and redshirt senior edge rusher George Gumbs Jr., who each missed Week 4 with various injuries, nor did he comment on redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Brendan Bett, who left the contest against Miami with an apparent knee injury.

Florida will release its first of four Southeastern Conference-mandated availability reports on Wednesday ahead of its Saturday matchup with Texas.

No mention of defensive tackle Caleb Banks, probably their best player. I'm assuming he's out

If you watch the Miami game, Lagway didn't look right physically or mentally. He looked injured and slow running, and he looked completely lost trying to read the defense

Their one good drive was almost exclusively running the ball, but if they fall behind the chains in a series they're probably fucked

45-24 Texas.  Texas offense uncorks, defense plays fine, Jeff Banks gives up a special teams buttfart, and the Gators score in garbage time to make it closer than it was.

until we win a league game we haven't won a league game
we drank our own kool aid and now it's time to go to work

Outside of Arkansas and Kentucky, I expect every league game to be extremely anxiety producing for me at least. Some ugly wins hopefully because I like wins.

I would have thought putting Bevo on an airboat/fanboat/swampboat in this graphic might have been even better.  Lulz.

24? Really?

34-17. We dominate time of possession and they score a trash time td in 4th Q. Arch has an ok game, running game shows improvement. Defense looks dominant.

Defense is suffocating with 2 INTs and a FF recovery.

Arch has finally gotten over his fear of throwing to a non-white receiver. 20/26 330 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT

RBs come mean and makes Flo-Ridas D quit by 13:30 of the 3rd quarter.

Napier is shot on the sidelines at the final whistle. Tim Tebow is hired as the HC and immediately institutes prayer circles and anyone with a tattoo is kicked off the team.

Book it

Having been to the Michigan tailgates and Lee  Harvey's multiple times I highly recommend this, but this time we're not getting into Gainesville until like 1. If you offer a cash bar or if I can blow in pre-kick and give you $50 for a couple of beers (and your trouble) I will swing by. For no extra charge I will decide which poster who is there is my least favorite, and tell him to go fuck themselves.

Im thinking it’s more of a 27-13 game.

our defense against their scoring proficiency on paper says we cover

last year:

@ vandy 27-24 and we had to burn clock on the ground to kill it off - can we do that this year?

@ pig 20-10 and while never in doubt was never comfortable

praying these feels are wrong........

my thoth tarot deck says 21-13 and extremely uncomfortable with 2 failed 4th and goals that supercharge their crowd instead of the silence of the lambs when you take the points

I am no SEC jock sniffer, but the days of walking into someone's trap and winning 41-7 are largely over. And let's be real, that was rarely realistic in the Big 12 either. Road games are always tricky.

To me, it's all about starting strong and getting these fucks thinking about their coach getting fired and where they will transfer to next year.

Pretty sure he's not playing.  Had surgery a week or two ago.

Probably a 17-6 type win.

Man I hope not...that would be fine, but they'll need to do more on offense than that. But Florida can do things on defense.

wow if they did that it would be a statement considering florida even in losses, hasn't been that bad defensively.

and texas giving up 24 would not be good...garbage time or not.

Same...24-10, along those lines.

That would be really good if 7 of their points came off a fumble or Special Teams TD.

I would be very gruntled if we hung 40 on Florida in any scenario, I think it will be lower scoring than that. 27 - 10 or something like that.

I think nearly any team can get 7-10 points from a variety of ways.  Nearly impossible these days to keep teams much lower.  It won’t because of our defense if a team scores more than 14.

I had a dream last night it was midway thru the 3rd and Florida was winning 13-0 and had the ball at about the 50.  Oddly specific for a dream, hope I'm not a psychic.

Yep.  40+ on that defense in the Swamp would be shocking based on what we've seen this year.  I'm currently thinking something like horns 23-16.

Sun Belt Billy gets Dallas Wilson back from injury this week, so UF is pumped about that. They also expect 2 other WRs to play in Sturdivant and Mizell.

As I’ve mentioned Florida is my 2nd favorite school so I know more about them than most on here. This game will get ugly fast. They have no more fight left in them and are going to be without their entire starting defensive line. They are a decent running team but Napier is quite literally too stupid to lean into that dynamic, and Lagway is both injured and mentally broken, and overrated. They really need a new coach and a roster overhaul to be a competitive program again, if you look at their schedule it’s hard to see anything other than a 2-10 or 3-9 finish. Arch and the offense are finally clicking and I expect a close 1st quarter to give way to the blowout in the 2nd. 35-3 Texas.
