That was precisely what Charlie Kirk/Turning Point set out to do almost a decade ago.  He laid out the blueprint.  I didn't think it had any legs, but he was patient and adamant and now it's coming to fruition.  Fucking fuck.  I need to take Brisket's advice and listen to people when they tell me who they are.  Anyone for waffles?

Rather than, you know, adjust their policies/positions to make them more palatable, Republicans seek to erect more barriers to young voters, who have been tilting heavily Democrat, to keep them from voting. Despicable.

Motherfuckers. It puts the lie to the Republican claims that voter ID laws are necessary to prevent in person voter fraud, which almost never happens anyway. We already knew that but this makes it undeniable. Voter ID laws, both for and against, are solely intended to prevent people from voting if they are more likely to vote for Democratic candidates.

This woman's husband was killed in WW II. She tears the Republicans a new asshole.

I really wish my grandfather lived long enough to talk some sense into his son.  Republican through and through, but there’s no fucking way he would have been sucked into this shitstorm.  I would imagine most WWII vets would be the same, there just aren’t many of them left.  They’ve seen what this looks like and fought against it.  He died in 2016, but that last year was tough and he got worse around the time the bullshit got cranked up to 11.

“GROOMER!”

Never forget, folks…when we’re talking about “conservatives,” every accusation is indeed a confession.

Your kids are 1,000X safer around a drag queen than they are around a “conservative” (politician, preacher, leader, donor, etc).

15 will get you 20.

I think the Republicans are trying to get rid of those rules.  Maybe it's just child marriage. But they know their consent rules by state.

Ted fucking Nugent, a self confessed pedophile is somehow their moral compass.  Unfuckingreal.  As Brisket stated, every accusation is a confession with these folks.

Kyle Rittenhouse looks like a 45 year old from a lower tier Texas suburb.  Grand Prairie or some such.  Has a calf tat.  Drives a Jeep but never off roads.  T shirt Aggy fan.

We all know the type.

There is a preposterously long firework show at a minor league baseball game for the Nashville Sounds going on. Itching to see the Twitter reporters claim something else going at the Capitol.

The GQP is literally a Trumpist death cult. This is a 20-year difference in average life expectancy.

When I posted this I was thinking "where have I seen this before?"  Then I remembered: it's almost a perfect overlay of the results from the 2016 election.

I have to admit, a 20-year difference in life expectancy is astonishing.  I don't believe it.

Had I an ounce of motivation, I’d take a look at the % black populations of these areas, the avg life span of black vs white people, and see how much mathematical correlation there might be.

i don’t think it will work for Nevada and Alaska. I can come up with some ideas for Alaska (deadly fishing industry, oil industry, tougher life in general, etc) but Nevada is a puzzle.

that should permanently replace that internet meme of the poorly drawn guy who says one thing whilst cycling, then something gets in his tire, and he says something else while on the ground next to his bike.

Also, I wanna see what happens at the end because the guy does get up and starts running at somebody near the cameraman.  Perfect encapsulation of MAGA nation.

That was a pretty good shot by the guy with the skateboard, but damn that could have ended much worse. Assuming the guy didn't suffer any permanent damage in the fall. Well, not any worse than he had previously.
