Openly blackmailing our allies ...

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised to keep the prison for terrorism suspects in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, open.

"We're going to keep, as you know, Gitmo, we're keeping that open," Trump said at his Nevada caucus victory speech on Feb. 24, 2016. "We're going to load it up with bad dudes. We're going load it up with a lot of bad dudes out there." (Feb. 24, 2016)

In March, Trump asked Congress for additional funding for the military prison, which the Republican-controlled House incorporated in a 2018 spending bill currently under consideration.

The bill would provide $115 million to build new military barracks for U.S. troops stationed at the base. It also contains language that would shield the detention camp from closure and prevent the transfer of detainees to the United States. (Jul. 7, 2017)

During his State of the Union speech, President Donald Trump highlighted that he kept his promise to keep open the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

Trump appeared to suggest that more prisoners could be sent to the prison in the future.

"I am asking Congress to ensure that in the fight against ISIS and al-Qa'ida, we continue to have all the necessary power to detain terrorists -- wherever we chase them down, wherever we find them, and in many cases for them it will now be Guantanamo Bay," he said.

The day of the speech, Trump signed an executive order that states that within 90 days, the heads of federal agencies and departments will recommend policies to Trump "regarding the disposition of individuals captured in connection with an armed conflict, including policies governing transfer of individuals" to Gitmo. (Jan. 31, 2018)

Didn’t watch SNL last night, did they have another Alec Baldwin Trump bit?

Hilarious and incredibly telling that he thinks satire directed at his administration should be regulated. I’m telling you, he loves Kim Jung Un and Putin because he craves their authority to silence people that aren’t nice to him.

The president of the United States just sent a message to the American people in all caps, saying "THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!" and no one bats an eye. Won't even be a news story, or really mentioned anywhere.

It’s a double edged sword.  If the media covers it they are just propagating the message, which is the point.

Trump is a dangerous troll, the media should treat him like one.

People stand on street corners and scream about the aliens probing them all the time and nobody reports on it.

That's the United States Commander in Chief declaring domestic citizens as the enemy.

In my opinion, it's (once again) an impeachable offense.  His oath of office includes his duty to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States".  That Constitution explicitly states that Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of the press, and by calling the press "the enemy of the people", he is quite literally questioning the 1st Amendment.
