Who doesn't get a little horny for some good falafel. Just thinking about it makes me want to shoot my tzatziki on a perky pair of kebabs.

Goddammit people, for the 10,000th time, we don’t kink-shame around here.
Now, for doing that shit non-consensually…shame away. But for the falafel bit…no judging.

So, yeah, this is kind of interesting.

In keeping with criminal justice norms, grand jury testimony is secret, and generally stays that way unless the presiding judge grants a motion to unseal it.  And the basis of such unsealing usually is some kind of imperative need, like that of another defendant, not overwhelming public curiosity and the judge tends to be obligated to redact it to protect unindicted parties.

Because no motion was made previously by Blondi/Patel, that shows that this was never going to be part of the disclosure, until now.  And it would seem to be a fundamental part of the disclosure.

Also, I assume this is grand jury testimony seeking an indictment of Epstein and/or Maxwell, in which case it would mostly be directed at them and not third parties, who were probably kept anonymous, even to the grand jury.

Yes, that's exactly what Anastasis has repeatedly referred to by name.

Y'all realize that he's on your "side" on this one, right? At least for now.

Ana “wants” to follow the money because he doesn’t think Trump paid Epstein to traffic girls.

It’s sort of like Garland watching Trump openly plan 1/6 and thinking “hmmmmm, we can nail him if we can find evidence that he paid for people to travel to DC,” except Ana knows that type of evidence isn’t there and when it isn’t found he can use that to distract from what’s practically a signed confession.

Trump is now ordering Bondi to release grand jury material only AFTER his name surfaces. We are no longer a country of law & order but the key point is that the federal govt is now structured to serve the personal interests and wishes of Donald Trump.

I don't know a lot about the law, but this sure looks like the administration is saying, "We have nothing to hide!  Release the evidence!" while making sure that what is released can't hurt them.

Is that about right?

Just interesting Epstein was helping politicians make laws for child trafficking. They were discussing the bill and "his name came up" so they decided to ask him what to change most in the bill.

To be fair, that doesn't really look like his signature.  But it has changed quite a bit or varies quite a bit.

Wouldn't the last administration have leaked everything about Trump they could?

No American admin can release the Epstein documents because of the implication.

There’s speculation that Epstein had ties to Mossad, which is why certain details haven’t been fully released.

One of the most notable connections is his relationship with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Between 2013 and 2017, Barak reportedly visited Epstein’s Florida and New York properties around 30 times, including a private flight in 2014. Barak also received $2.3 million from an Epstein-linked foundation between 2004 and 2006, and Epstein later invested $1 million in a partnership associated with Barak in 2015.

Epstein’s connection to Ghislaine Maxwell. Her father, Robert Maxwell, was a British media mogul widely reported to have had links to Mossad. Some sources, including former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashe, have claimed Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell ran a “honey trap” operation on behalf of Israeli intelligence, though these claims remain unverified. A lawsuit by a woman identified as Jane Doe 200 alleged Epstein claimed to be a Mossad agent, but this has not been substantiated.

Epstein also had financial ties to the Wexner Foundation, which promotes Jewish leadership and has connections to Israel. His main backer, Leslie Wexner, was part of the “Mega Group,” a network of wealthy philanthropists. Some analysts, such as former NSA counterintelligence officer John Schindler, have suggested that this group may have had links to Israeli intelligence, but there is no conclusive evidence. Epstein was also an investor in Carbyne (formerly Reporty Homeland Security), an Israeli tech company tied to defense and emergency response, which further fueled speculation.

While much of this remains circumstantial, these associations have been the basis for theories that Epstein may have been connected to Israeli interests or intelligence operations.

It is really strange that Trump would have written a note like that. It's even stranger that some random employee would have ended a note with "may every day be another wonderful secret," though. Trump must have written this.

What about the Biden administration makes you think they'd do that?  Particularly the Department of Justice?  Releasing pre- or post-indictment/conviction investigation information is not normal and is against DOJ policy, as well as most state prosecuting authorities.

If anything the Biden/Garland DOJ was too bound by norms.

For there to have been an unauthorized leak, the information likely would have had to be outside the DOJ, ie in Congress, but it wasn't.

Because Zeus thinks that everyone is as base and transactional as he and trump are. He can't imagine a world where someone would have incriminating evidence and NOT break all the rules and norms to release it

The wild thing is that we are now fully, 100%, in the “they’re just saying all the quiet parts out loud” now. We must revoke the citizenship of natural born citizens because of their political beliefs. We must stop, detain, and imprison people based solely on their ethnicity/ethnic appearance.
This is their American dream, and they are joyful and proud about it.
They are…and this is important…pure fucking evil. And we are 100% going to have to shoot our way out of this when all is said and done. If you aren’t a member of a favored group (and even if you are…maybe don’t count on staying there, this sort of regime needs enemies, and they won’t look hard to find them, they’ll just turn to whoever is convenient and close), and you do not have legitimate weapons for personal defense, you’re way behind.
The regime just funded the world’s third largest military (homeland security), entirely for INTERNAL use. You build something that massive, you WILL use it.
It’s coming. We can’t stop what’s coming. But we can meet it head-on, and when it all breaks down…as it will…kill it.

So maybe 20 years ago, he was a better wordsmith (certainly never eloquent), but I wouldn't know. He wasn't on my political/cultural radar until after he started with his racist birther conspiracy bullshit.

Imagine that's true, because it wasn't necessary to name names to indict Epstein or Maxwell.

It might get interesting to release transcripts where a grand jury no-billed someone like Trump if that happened.  Or they presented evidence but ultimately no indictment.  But the likelihood of a judge releasing that is zilch unless that person is long dead.

But, if you're going to do some allegedly transparent data dump on Epstein, grand jury transcripts would seem to be a pretty key part of that.

This begs the question. Lets say Trump is in the list and there are pics of him diddling kids, would that finally prove to be his downfall? It's insane that I have to even ask this question and even more insane to think that he, more than likely, could skate by something as damning as that.

Wouldn't matter. Assuming it only happened on an island in USVI, he would just pardon himself (probably already has).

I imagine that MAGA influencers are being told that the release of the grand jury testimony is more than enough because that is where the crimes were discussed by witnesses. And that release of any other investigation info would be unethical and unprecedented. Or that it would potentially identify victims and innocent people on the periphery.

It's a shame that the discourse seems to be focused on whether or not he specifically wrote the letter, and not that this is yet another significant data point detailing the closeness (and lewdness) of his relationship with Epstein.  Even if he didn't personally write it, he was viewed as a close enough friend of Epstein to be asked to contribute to this present, and he (at the very least) allowed this to be sent on his behalf.
