Weird that Moore is slow at 10.9 and Johntay is considered fast even though he has no verified times and his jumps aren't just outstanding....

And I'm not say Johntay is slow, he looks fast as heck on the field. Just weird that it hasn't been brought up.

Maybe it hasn’t been brought up because it’s a stupid thing to say out loud and everyone knows it? Well, almost everyone

When he gets run down from behind like Pittman against Ohio State, it might make sense to question Moore’s speed. Until then, he seems reasonably fast.

Looks closer to 5, but the angle adds a few more.

Moore enters at the 30ish with the other guy at the 33ish. Pushes him out at the 12. Angle adds 3.78 (triangle would be 51 yards along sideline and he's about 20 yards inside (if hashes are 18 yards in)). We don't know where the pursuit actually started though. So let's call it 7 yards.

So, he made up about 6 yards… though I was only counting from the time they highlighted him on the video.

Hash to sideline is 53” and the other side of the right triangle is about 54 yards, again, depending on when you start counting.

Regardless, he took a nice angle and chased him down.

Surprise, the morons in the comments think Eli is giving out that advice to all incoming college athletes, and not specifically to his nephew.

I mean the advice is focus on getting better, focus on growing up and don't get distracted by the other shit. Not every recruit has that privilege of course

Turns out to 6.34 yards.  Great back of the envelope work, though.
