If I didnt know better, I would guess this is a bad SNL skit making fun of Qtards. Nope, actual GQP politician running for office. Johnny Sacks is considering a move to MI just so he can vote for a rockstar like that.

I don't keep up with most of this, honestly.  But this did bring the lulz.

QAnon followers are now accusing evangelical leaders of child sex trafficking

While the QAnon cult has found its way into evangelical churches across America, the ever-updating and goal post-moving conspiracy theory is now targeting some of the most prominent evangelicals in the country, Right Wing Watch reports.

On July 12, RWW reported that MAGA pastor Jackson Lahmeyer, who launched a primary challenge to Oklahoma GOP Sen. James Lankford earlier this year because the Senator didn’t buy into conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and who openly embraced QAnon, is now a target of QAnon adherents who accused him of child sex trafficking after he posted a photo of his daughter wearing red shoes. Now RWW reports that other evangelical figures are being hit with similar allegations from the cult.

From Right Wing Watch:

Late last month, self-proclaimed “prophet” and QAnon conspiracy theorist Johnny Enlow posted a “prophetic alert” on his Facebook page in which he warned that “many of our most famous pastors and Christian leaders are about to be exposed as sexual deviants, pedophiles and worse.”

We had no idea what that meant at the time, but now it appears to be related to allegations being put forth by a woman going by the name Madyson Marquette, who claims to have been a former adult film actress who was sexually abused and trafficked by several well-known evangelical leaders, including Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, Rick Warren, and even the late Billy Graham.

In the last week, Marquette has appeared on several evangelical programs that regularly promote QAnon and other right-wing conspiracy theories to level her allegations, including a recent appearance on the “Up Front In The Prophetic” program, which is hosted by full-blown QAnon conspiracy theorists Alan and Francine Fosdick.

This is actually an interesting revelation as of late. That “agency” should be investigated.

Maine Republican insisted he was the real victim after his stalking arrest – then he got busted for child porn

Quote

After his arrest this Tuesday on charges of felony child porn possession, a Maine Republican who is also a member of the Bangor School Committee posted $1,000 cash bail and was released.

It's not known if Penobscot County Treasurer John Hiatt used a school-issued computer or tablet to download child pornography, but a department-owned tablet was seized by police during an earlier investigation into a harassment complaint against Hiatt, the Bangor Daily News reports. Sexually explicit images of children under the age of 12 were allegedly found.

"The affidavit in this case and the evidence, in this case, will show that this particular defendant had at least one still photo and two videos of a 5-year-old engaged in sexually explicit conduct with an adult male," Penobscot County Assistant District Attorney Chris Almy said.

Hiatt is already facing charges for the alleged stalking and harassment of a 34-year-old Bangor woman on social media and in text messages earlier this year. He was arrested on May 14 on multiple charges that included felony invasion of privacy.

Hiatt had said that he was the real victim, alleging that the woman had sexually assaulted him. But when detectives tried to contact Hiatt about his allegations, he reportedly refused to speak with them.

Before his arrest this Tuesday, Hiatt vowed to seek reelection in both his positions. He is also a member of the Republican State Committee.

"I am deeply troubled by the allegations against John Hiatt," Maine GOP chair Demi Kouzounas said Wednesday. "While John will have his day in court, he should do what is best for his community and resign from all political positions immediately,"

If convicted of either his child pornography or felony invasion of privacy charges, Hiatt faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if a bunch of evangelical leaders did in fact traffic and sexually abuse children.

let me tell you about the Duggar Family. Check out the most recent episodes of Behind the Bastards - they go into detail on the family's history and connection to child sexual abuse and how to cover it up while making a reality TV show.

edit: For bonus points, do some reading on Bill Gothard (yes that's his actual name) who was the religious leader providing cover for the duggars and raping a few girls (under 18) while he was at it.

The nerve of you to assume that I'm not current on Behind the Bastards. Though I haven't listened to the episode on Seagal's book yet...

Most events like that will have the venue somewhere on the marketing materials but that doesn’t , so I got curious and went to the web page at the end on an incognito window. Still nothing until you click on the book a hotel link, where I pinched this:

The speaking events will be held at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Caesars Forum (https://caesarsforum.com).
"The Forum" was completed in 2020 but had many of its booked events cancellend due to the plandemic. We are absolutely honored to be able to host our event there. (PLEASE NOTE: The Caesars Forum is NOT located in Caesars Palace).  Our host hotels for this event are three Caesars Entertaiment hotels: Harrah's, The Flamingo, & The LINQ, and are the closest Caesars properties to The Forum. Two of the host hotels are connected via skybridge to The Forum so no busses (YAY!!!), and no weather elements to deal with.

Also, the weekend of our event is a VERY expensive weekend in Las Vegas but Caesars Entertainment has generously offered us incredible rates at the these properties. Here is additional information about each host hotel:

Harrah's (our exclusive rate is $189/night): our main host hotel; connected to Caesars Forum via an enclosed, temperature-controlled skybridge (5 min walk); recent $200 Million renovation that includes all guest rooms and casino floor;

The Flamingo (our exclusive rate is $179/night): short Monorail ride from Flamingo Monorail Station to the Harrah's/The LINQ Station, then a short walk to the Caesars Forum via the enclosed, temperature-controlled skybridge; newly-renovated rooms; tropical, iconic pool;

The LINQ (our exclusive rate is $179/night): connected to Caesars Forum via an enclosed, temperature-controlled skybridge (5 min walk); located on the lively LINQ Promenade, offering shopping, restaurants, the High Roller observation wheel, and ziplines.

Those rates for those properties are laughable. Harrah's is a dump and needs imploded, Linq has an identity crisis, and Flamingo smells like cigarettes and despair.

Oh, and all three don't have buffets any longer, due to covid. Plus all the employees are masked up, so the attendees will have more than a few things to bitch about. But hey, Bacchanal Buffet across the street at Caesars is open at $70 a person.  Pretty sure this crowd will think that's a bargain.

Well shit, we should have done something nice for him then.  5 months ago?  Is it too late to send a gift?  What's the protocol/etiquette on something like this?

Is Trump registered somewhere?  I mean, not as a sex offender...but for like Candlesticks or place settings?  I'll tap into the wreath fund.  We'll send something special.

Holy shit! That's a name I haven't heard in years. My parents absolutely worshipped Bill Gothard when I was a kid. Had his books all over the house, had me read them. I went to at least two of his seminars in my early teen years. Didn't take I guess - I'm an atheist, left winger who believes women should have at least a little say over their lives and shouldn't be sexually harassed. Guess I'm a failure.

Jansen later tried to explain why his previous prophecies have not come to fruition, saying, “You need to understand that when the word of the Lord comes to a prophet, the prophet speaks the word of the Lord. Things can shift.”

“Not the goalpost,” he added. “I’m not shifting the goalpost.”

Lol.
