While you are watching that, I’m watching Joe Biden attempt to call a nation together for thanksgiving and a higher purpose.

My favorite thing is him just ignoring Trump and his incompetent C-team lawyers and going about his business being President-Elect.

And taking on some of the duties of President, since we have one who isn't interested in doing any of that.

President’s team asking the PA legislature to revoke the certification of the election.

Claiming that they have the authority to do that outside of the purview of any judicial decision.

I love the “more votes than Reagan” thing. Yeah, unfortunately Biden got EVEN MORE THAT THAT.   Almost like the population grew in the past 40 years or something.

well their previous argument was "enthusiasm and boat parades" so this is at worst a lateral move in strategic approach.

Rudy making many claims of fraud despite the legal team repeatedly stating in court that they were making no claims of fraud.

I do not like nor think it wise that these repeated attempts and assaults continue. It’s normalizing this for the future and two to four years down the road. We can laugh about the sloppiness, but it’s having an effect in other ways. Stern pushback (not just defeat In the cases) seems better because those norms are being battered and who knows what the future judges will do?

Why is the GOP unsuccessful in their attempts to invalidate? Because they lack supporting evidence.

So what does the GOP take away from all this? Better have evidence next time.

They've got 4 years to manufacture it. Best get started.

I think that a hearing in the house, taking each specific allegation of fraud, and investigating it fully and laying out the facts, would help a lot.  And I'm confident that it will reveal two things:

1) of COURSE there's going to be a fraudulent vote here and there out of 150 million.  Find out how they occurred, and make recommendations to limit them.

2) there will be ZERO evidence of any large scale or orchestrated fraud or vote changing/interference.  And that needs to be communicated far and wide.

An end message of "no system is perfect -- we've investigated, and where there are weaknesses, we have recommended changes.  But in an election where 150 million votes were cast, no meaningful fraud that changed or even minorly impacted any race was found.  American elections are among the most secure in the world, and we'll keep working to keep them that way, and make them even better, so everyone who wants to vote easily can, and so they can be assured that their vote counts."

I didn’t realize at the start that this was a strictly GOP committee hearing when I started watching. It all makes a lot more sense now.

The people organizing this charade in PA today don’t give a fuck about anything other than being re-elected in blood red districts.

This comes down to “I was on the side of fighting for Trump when the socialists took your vote away from you.”

Yeah, I caught that early on.  Just an exercise in political theater of the absurd.  I'd be mad at having to attend.

Well, a hearing in the House? We had one of those a year ago and the GOP talking point media circus got them to how many million votes again this year? Not enough for Trump to win, but I don’t think they’re going to stop with their tactics.

Wait, wasn’t this “kraken day”? Did I miss it?!?

Or was the meeting in the Executive Board Room of the Gettysburg Super 8 the “kraken”?

That’s what I was wondering. I was told there would be the release of Powell’s kraken and her evidence of biblical proportions.

I think the Kraken filled up on the Wyndham lobby breakfast and has been snoozing ever since.

I know Rudy always enjoys the omelette station when he's there.  But Trump always feels like the omelette chef resents him.

Oh, fuck, been there, done that....but then, I’m much more Spaniard than Mexica, so....bring it on!

Well, since we have the pandemic before the Spaniards show up, that makes us more Peru than Mexico.

So brush up on your Basque, Basque mafia gonna be killing Spaniards who wander into the mining towns and don't speak Basque. I think they kill Basque too, so maybe just sit around and watch Ministerio del Tiempo.

I keep checking back here to see what kind of wreckage the Kraken has left in its slimy wake, and there's no wreckage, or smattering of litter, or even a slimy trail.  I am beginning to question whether that Kraken even exists.

No Kraken.  Quite a few skidmarks though.

It's right up there with Rick Perry touting the raw number of jobs he created while unemployment doubled from 4% to 8% on his watch.

Fucking numbers, how do they work?

I know it's hard to imagine, but doesn't the President of the United States have actual work to do? Like be president and actually do things? We had a citizen die every 40 seconds from the fucking coronavirus yesterday and he just keeps drumming up bullshit to satisfy his own ego. Why anyone is surprised that he got booted out by the electorate is the real mystery of 2020.

Oh he’s still working. Pardoning traitors and

This is seriously sick psychotic shit. Like, why?

i'm guessing trump asked if they were going to line them up against the wall and shoot them, and someone told him we don't do that anymore.  then he said something like, "the chair will do, i guess."  and the same someone said we don't do that anymore, either.

When do the dems start going on the offensive? This charade is the biggest takedown of our systems and form of government and history. For every stupid thing these idiots do we need 100's of voices in opposition. There needs to be consequences for this shit.  People need to be held in contempt or brought up for treason.
