ttom is wilding out on the purgatory board if you'd like to wander over there and observe him like some kind of animal at the zoo.
So sad. In real life I tried to help him when he got released from prison many years ago. He is a testimonial to the resilience of the human body.

Rather than redesigning pence needs to be drafting his 25th amendment declaration

Read the 25th.  That doesn't work.  Trump gets to reject it.  And then it goes to Congress, where supermajorities of both houses have to agree.

Impeachment is easier and faster.

Acosta just talked with a GOP source on this.  Source said it probably was out of the question, because so many lackeys were on the Cabinet now and wouldn't go along with it.

Awful lot of 2022 Senators in swing races would have to justify not removing a president who incited a coup

Is Mexico still using the Islas Maria for a prison? If not, we could maybe rent it, put all the Q folk on it, then they do whatever they want surrounded by their own kind. Maybe they know how to fish and grow food, maybe not. I say we have to give them a chance.

Democracy doesn't die tonight motherfuckers:

Lawmakers will resume counting Electoral College votes on Wednesday, hours after a mob of Trump loyalists stormed the Capitol, Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said as she vowed that the attack would not “deter us from our responsibility to validate the election of Joe Biden.”

In a letter to colleagues, Ms. Pelosi said she had reached that decision after consulting with her leadership team and a series of calls with the Pentagon, the Justice Department and Vice President Mike Pence. She made no mention of the president.

“We always knew this responsibility would take us into the night,” Ms. Pelosi wrote. “We also knew that we would be a part of history in a positive way today, despite ill-founded objections to the Electoral College vote. We now will be part of history, as such a shameful picture of our country was put out to the world, instigated at the highest level.”

So what tweet of Trump got deleted?

i assume this one:

These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!

6 fucking days into 2021 and we're already at civil war, this year is gonna be whack

Looks like it.  That's what struck me when everyone was saying thank God 2020 is over, bring on 2021.  I think everyone was so desperate for all the BS to be over they never considered that 2021 could be worse, far worse.  God help us.

Yeah--that's why we need to impeach him and make the Senate hold a trial.

Yeah, and then what do we get--an even crazier and angrier Trump back in power.

EnchantingExemplaryHoverfly-max-1mb.gif?

These weren't heavily armed radicals looking to decapitate the libs. That might be coming, but this wasn't it.

This was a bunch of dumbasses with no plan who meme'd it up in the hallowed halls of American governance. And in doing so they have humiliated the Republican cause and given us endless photographic and video ammunition with which to viciously attack their politicians for decades. And it further isolates and alienates Trump, who will be a thorn in their side for as long as he lives and beyond.

I'm sorry the woman died, that's terrible. But other than that... lol

The ONLY worrying thing going forward about it is how complicit the police were. But if you were awake you already knew the cops were hand-in-hand with the fascists.

What am I missing? Looks like you can suspend him for 21 days

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.
