For those who haven't seen this picture, taken in 1967 at the Cowboys/Falcons game, this is former Dallas stripper Bubbles Cash. And in 1967, the response to this in College Station, Texas was "That's disgusting and totally unacceptable."

This moment in Texas history is credited as the inspiration for the decision to end the Dallas Cowboys having male cheerleaders on the sidelines and the beginning of what we know today as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Not a lot of aggys in the crowd at that game.

The reaction to Bubbles walking down the stairs at the game in a mini-skirt allegedly lead Tex Schramm to dump the male cheerleaders on the sidelines during Cowboys games and go with all females, thus launching the DCC. The next year, USC started their Song Girls to counter their all-male "yell leaders."

The entire nation was walking up to the sexual revolution. Well, the entire nation outside of College Station, Texas.

More than a half-century later, the ags still don't understand how women can be allowed on the sidelines during football games.

I haven't been to a Cowboys game in a few years. Do they still wear coats and ties to NFL games?

Will wonders never cease. Someone over in aggyland actually published a reasonably well-written version of their 1922 "12th Man" game.

"In actuality, the game’s events were far less idealistic. There is no doubt surrounding Gill’s presence at the Dixie Classic, nor does anyone argue that he was not called to the field by Bible to wear Weir’s jersey and act as a potential substitute. But the similarities end there.

Within the framework of the Dixie Classic’s actual progression of events, Gill’s involvement was less critical than legend suggests. According to December 1921 articles of both The Dallas Morning News and the Houston Post, A&M had a full roster of 25 athletes present at the game.

Based on all published play-by-play accounts of the game, only four Aggies had been pulled due to injury by the time Gill was summoned to the field. Barring one other player’s absence, who was hurt during the team’s pre-game practice, A&M would have had another nine healthy substitutes waiting on the bench to enter the game.

Instead of being the final man standing on the sideline, Gill was likely, at best, the final option at running back, especially considering he was wearing Weir’s number."

To show just how unimportant the aggy game was to the Centre team, attached is the write-up on the 1921 football season from the 1922 Centre College school yearbook. 100 years later the ags can't quit talking about the game. Five months after the actual event, the Centre College people barely thought the game worth mentioning.

An Aggie buddy who I do consider as a friend. But this had to be shared.

Watching LSU with only 38 scholly players get hammered by K State.  But they showed up.  I love that aggy just throws their hands up in the air and says, “There’s just no way.  I mean, it’d be dangerous!”  No, aggy, it would be a legitimate ass-whooping.  Maybe even a little embarrassing.  But honorable as far as ass-whoopings go.

Quitting nine days out is in its own class of stupid delusion.

It’s been discussed ad nauseam that aggy could have requested to back the game up to January 10th. The ncaa already stated that bowls could do that for player safety. Aggy didn’t even request it, they just cancelled. They just bitched out and didn’t want to play wake forest. Everybody who knew this addendum for COVID knows that aggy is yellow and didn’t want to take the L.

Just tossing the salad around at the tailgate.

How else do you prep for your games?

Pretty sure you’ll always be in the rear of any conference with your attitude. #2 at the most. You’ll need quite the turn around to be at #1. That being said, you’d face a new problem then. You’d risk the Shame of choking or having to wipe away the tears / egg on your face.

Needless to say, you need this kind of fan support if you want your guys to lick the competition.

Don’t despair, and crack a smile friend.

Just root for the homo team and get behind your guys.

I hear they own some property around Junction, this time instead of running off in the middle of the night they can hit the transfer portal.

aggy’s crowing about their No. 1 recruiting class got me to thinking about the parallels. They think they’re Bama, but in reality they’re Ole Miss.

In 2013, Ole Miss decided to open the checkbooks and get the best class money could buy. They landed the No. 1 class, headlined by the top defensive lineman, top offensive lineman, and top receiver in ESPN’s rankings. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/recruiting/football/story/_/id/8920409/robert-nkemdiche-commits-mississippi-rebels-national-signing-day

What did they get for that investment?  9-4 in 2013 (beat Bama),  10-3 in 2015 (beat Bama, but destroyed by TCU in the Peach Bowl), 5-7 in 2016, and Freeze forced out in July 2017 after text messaging indiscretions.

So aggy beat Bama this year. Maybe they’ll even beat them next year. Tshirt worthy in CS, the peak of their achievements. They own the Tide (in their minds). My prediction?  Jimbo will be out after 2023, with aggy having to eat all of that contract.

Should be fun to watch.

If the state fair organizers agree to push back the date, I'd be a hunnert percent for it. October may as well still be summer most years...but if the fair isnt going on the same time as the game, it's just a neutral site in a shitty old stadium. Shitty old stadium that I hope is never demolished. I'd rather the stands collapse beneath me than move to the Deathstar 15 minutes to the west.

They went from death threats against me for writing the truth, to having to publish in their own school paper the fact that their "12th Man turdition" was a fairytale.

And now they shift to damage control.

"With this, the flawless facade of the 12th Man was shattered. However, the decision to not focus on this discrepancy was seemingly unimportant, as the tradition enabled the university to grow in an otherwise-unattainable way." [An admission that if aggys were actually decent and honest people, A&M wouldn't be what it is today. Think about that.]

"According to Cushing Library curator Anton Duplessis, Class of 2003, the misconstruing of the story was not intentional. Instead, a general miscommunication helped spread the modified story, he said." ["Not intentional", but done nonetheless. Including the filing of the fraudulent trademark application under penalty of perjury even after the truth was known. Which means it was intentional.]

"Unfortunately for A&M, nothing is ever truly as good as it seems." [Something well known by those of us who understand "those who know A&M best, respect A&M the least"]

"The history of the 12th Man is marred by controversy, including multiple lawsuits both from the university and against it. The disagreements of particular importance stemmed from the likely fact of Gill not being the only healthy player on the sideline during the 1922 Dixie Classic."" [The disagreements stemmed from the fact A&M administrators have long known they were perpetrating a fraud and they knew the overwhelming majority of aggys were too dimwitted to ever figure it out]

"“The 12th Man is a concept that's made by people at Texas A&M, and that can be something that's different based on historical facts, so you might find that the idea of what it means to be the 12th Man changes as the university grows,” Rowe said." ["something that's different based on historical facts." Pure aggyspeak]

Mark it down: the wheels will fall off for Jimbo in 2022. Saban will be out for payback, and IMO the mid-tier SEC teams will all be improved. Arky and Ole Miss are solid. South Carolina is no longer a push-over—they will have Rattler and will play Aggy at home. Leach has proven he can beat Aggy nine times out of ten. Auburn should be better in year 2 of Harsin as well.

After 2-3 losses before the mid season mark, Aggy’s “greatest class ever” will be exploring exit strategies.

This statement is typically made annually. So I’m just replying to see if I’ll need lotto numbers from you or not

Players also anonymously told investigators that the coaching staff would show "videos of serial killers, drills entering eyeballs, and bloody scenes with animals eating animals" during team meals.

"Mr. Durkin maintains that horror movies were sometimes shown at breakfast to motivate and entertain players," the report stated.

Before he got a head coaching job and started killing kids, I recall a lot of posters on the other site were high on Durkin as an addition to the Longhorn staff in some capacity.

The Texas Bowl is a good reminder that Gen. Patton would have been better off with a bunch of LSU kids than the fake aggy army. #12Man
