So they are going to bring in a multiple, up tempo, explosive play hunting, pass heavy/run efficient play caller from a zone run, super simple terminology, high pass-efficiency background and expect him to mesh with the deep pass, run heavy, pull man/gap blocking scheme?

So either he is there to help Wiggins completely overhaul the Offense this offseason (have fun Reed) or he is going to be trying to learn Klein's system to help Wiggins call plays in... Yeah, this is a comfort hire or everyone else said "No".

Agree that it appears aggy likely keeps Klein's offensive system with a few tweaks...

They're working overtime down in the Texas A&M Fightin' Texas Aggie Strategy Bunker.

So slenderizing!

More on focusing on success:

The Aggies will try to abduct the Hurricanes and replace them with a bottom five SEC team!

* Elko never really sounds very sure of what he has done. No matter. Stressing what it takes to be successful is key here.

Starting a freshman QB in his 2nd game.  BTW, Mizzou rushed for over 200 years in that game at over 6 YPC when they were fielding a QB that everyone knew wasn't a threat.

This A&M team is getting more run for beating up on the bottom half of the conference than any team in recent memory.

ND was a good win.  It was game 2 and absolutely needed some fortunate breaks to get the W, but it was a quality win.  But that's the list.

I can't help but think that Miami wins by double digits.

ND was breaking in a new starter. And Mizzou was on their #3 QB in his first start. I don’t consider either game a good win, but ND is still their best win. They beat NO ONE this year.

Like really ever.  Even when they suck they run their mouths.  It is so on brand.  Biggest inferiority complex in college sports.

They were flapping their labia as they left our game early because we beat that ass. Again.

That’s impossible. The Fighting Texas A&M Aggies from Texas A&M are the classiest, manliest, least homoerotic group of classy manly men to ever show visitors to their stadium.

There’s a Planter’s Peanuts online poll that proves that 99.12% (Whoop!) of lesser college football fans and all Aggie guests who register to post on Texags about their super wholesome hospitality agree. Aaaaaaaaa-whoop! whoop! Caneck!

Zuhn is such a fucking goober. He's so emblematic of that whole fanbase. If I were a betting man (and Carson Beck/Mario Cristobal weren't involved), I would absolutely bet heavy on Miami.

What happened to that douchebag shot/discus thrower with an aggy mom who went there and sucked, ruined his track and football careers, and transferred? What school did he transfer to (speaking of goobers)?

Bryce Foster, right? He was last seen graduating at KU, I believe. We definitely won our half of the Katy-Taylor duo from that year

That’s the one. I knew he left after aggy turned on him.

Remember how giddy they were at getting the higher ranked, nearly 5-star OL from Katy that season? And we had to settle for his teammate, the measly low 4 star/high 3 star? That one worked out about as well as everything works out for them and Hayden Connor is still on an NFL roster

That’s what you want to see.  First you get a new offensive coordinator who has never called plays, then you look to hire another guy to teach him how to do his job.  Recipe for success.

This is the same school that hired a guy as their head coach for baseball who had never been a head coach. So, it tracks.

Holy shit ... a framed scoreboard from an overhyped win against a team that didn't make the playoffs and was widely shamed for refusing to play in their bowl?

Aggy and their fans: self-owning for umpteen years and counting.

Hopefully we'll see a game similar to the 1991 Cotton Bowl.  I'd love to see the 4Q crowd shots of 100,000+ Aggies who overpaid to see their team get shellacked.

Self-awareness. Aggy's strongest suit.

Yep.  Who could've foreseen that anyone would object to throwing cotton balls at a group of individuals with prominent representation by African Americans?

I have to admit that was a fun game to watch though only because it was snowing in Shreveport like it would snow in name your NFL Midwest/ Northeast city in December and seeing guys who never played in snow much less below 40 degree weather in some cases was entertaining

Hmm, as a white boy who worked every summer on my uncle's cotton farms chopping (hoeing) cotton, cultivating, spraying johnson grass, prepping the stripper, etc., I always laugh when people want to talk about racial overtones connected to cotton.

There was no racial privilege when it came to working the cotton fields I had to work.  People who have turned cotton farming into a race thing are just morons, in my humble, calloused hands opinion.

Well unless you're like 175 years old, of course there's no racial privilege NOW about working in a cotton field

But it has historical racial connections

A lot of things have historical racial connections, but in the past 10 years or so just the word cotton has become absolutely taboo, which is absurd.  Slaves were shipped by trains and barges back in the 19th century as well...that doesn't mean we now associate trains and barges with the slave trade.

Not everyone who grew cotton in the 19th century was a rich plantation owner with slaves in the deep South.  A lot of Texas family cotton farms (mine included) were worked solely by the family.  That's why my great great grandparents had like 11 children...they needed that labor supply.

The year has nothing to do with his looking foolish or being a dumbass.
