Maine’s delegation is 2-0 D currently. It’s more what happens if a delegation is tied 7-7. So they just abstain?

It’s not going to the House. Everyone had these same fantasies in 16/20 too. It didn’t happen.

Right, I was just trying to think of a state with an even number of House reps.

As it currently stands, assuming straight party line votes, we're looking at 24 Trump to 23 Harris. DCCC is targeting two AZ districts (AZ-01, AZ-06) which could bring it to a 23-23 tie. Minnesota and NC are deadlocked but those districts are all very safe R and most of the current reps are MAGA nuts and/or election deniers, the closest race being NC-11, 53-44 (Madison Cawthorn's former district). Patrick McHenry of NC-10 voted to certify the electoral votes of Arizona and Pennsylvania, but he isn't seeking re-election and his district was redrawn to be even more MAGA. That seat will be held by Pat Harrigan, who is loony and would not have certified the results.

Alabama (6-1) Trump

Alaska (1-0) Harris

Arizona (6-3) Trump

Arkansas (4-0) Trump

California (40-12) Harris

Colorado (5-3) Harris

Connecticut (5-0) Harris

Delaware (1-0) Harris

Florida (20-8) Trump

Georgia (9-5) Trump

Hawaii (2-0) Harris

Idaho (2-0) Trump

Illinois (14-3) Harris

Indiana (7-2) Trump

Iowa (4-0) Trump

Kansas (3-1) Trump

Kentucky (5-1) Trump

Louisiana (5-1) Trump

Maine (2-0) Harris

Maryland (7-1) Harris

Massachusetts (9-0) Harris

Michigan (7-6) Harris

Minnesota (4-4) No Vote

Mississippi (3-1) Trump

Missouri (6-2) Trump

Montana (2-0) Trump

Nebraska (3-0) Trump

Nevada (3-1) Harris

New Hampshire (2-0) Harris

New Jersey (7-3-2) Harris

New Mexico (3-0) Harris

New York (16-10) Harris

North Carolina (7-7) No Vote

North Dakota (1-0) Trump

Ohio (10-5) Trump

Oklahoma (5-0) Trump

Oregon (4-2) Harris

Pennsylvania (9-8) Harris

Rhode Island (2-0) Harris

South Carolina (6-1) Trump

South Dakota (1-0) Trump

Tennessee (8-1) Trump

Texas (25-12-1) Trump

Utah (4-0) Trump

Vermont (1-0) Harris

Virginia (6-5) Harris

Washington (8-2) Harris

West Virginia (2-0) Harris

Wisconsin (5-2-1) Trump

Wyoming (1-0) Trump

Even if the Dems take the house, I don't see any of the above flipping besides (possibly) Arizona. Much better to avoid an EC tie.

The Harris Walz yard signs have started multiplying in northern Allegheny county in the last week and I am fully chuffed over what I saw today. I don’t care if I’m being overly optimistic or not. PA is telling this mother fucker to fuck the whole way off.

The number of Harris/Walz and Engel signs has exploded in northern Tucson. I’ve seen a grand total of 3 Trump signs so far this year as well. (Seen a ton of Ciscomani signs, but Engel is finally up with her signs). In 2020 I saw a tiny handful, but you could tell based on who was or was not wearing a mask.

putrid numbers for a Republican nominee. If those hold through Election Day Trump will lose in a landslide. The kind that means he and his party lose Texas

Hell, just look at the lack of fundraising prowess compared to the Harris campaign.

It could be that donors are spending their money with down-ballot races because they don't want to fund Trump's legal expenses or a new addition to Mar-a-Lago, but still, that's pretty surprising at how much they are struggling versus Harris/Wallz.

I’ve been seeing more Harris-Walz signs (usually accompanied by Sherrod Brown signs).

Remember the Trumper I posted about? Well, the douchebag across the street from him took down his upside down American flag (soon AFTER the 4th ofJuly, traitorous motherfucker). The Trumper, apparently in a new line of work, painted his truck and put up a sign promoting his new business (owner or employee, I have no idea, I haven’t investigated it to see if I could cause him any grief by outing him as a MAGAt). Since I took this pic he removed his Trump signs.

I’m happy to report that on my morning walk yesterday I saw that he now has a For Sale sign in his yard.

I have noticed while walking my dog that there's fewer trump signs in yards than there were a couple months ago, at least in my part of Spring Branch

Dumbest fucking people - not only are the Republicans trying to keep the Haitian story alive in Springfield, you have somebody chime in from the audience with a story about their deployed American son, that makes absolutely no fucking sense.

During his #Springfield Town Hall, Vivek heard from a man who revealed that his son, deployed in Germany, is stuck there, because he was married over there, and has a baby on the way.

The man explained that his son will have to serve another four years in order to receive a Visa and Plane Ticket home.

Upon hearing this news, Vivek instructed the man to meet with him and his staff after the Town Hall in order to help spread this story. See for yourself:

Humor Boomer GIF

If you ask me, I think his son is just making up an excuse so that he doesn’t have to introduce his German, immigrant wife to his shitty home town and dumb family.

So It's now at the states "where it belongs", but he will ensure, from the federal level, that strict exceptions and controls will be in place to limit what the states do.

I cannot believe that there are women who read that rant and not see the contradiction staring at them.

And in a few years, that guy will be saying “And now the Army is sending my son to Schofield Barracks in Hawaii and they won’t give him a plane ticket and a visa to come home and he said after Hawaii they are going to send him to Fort Wainwright in Alaska and they threatened not to give him a plane ticket and a visa home and after that they are sending him to Fort Drum in New York with all those liberals and he said they probably still won’t give him a visa and plane ticket home then” and people will point out his son doesn’t need a visa or the Army to give him a plane ticket and the guy will say “I know, that’s why it’s all so confusing about what the Army is doing to him!”

LOL. Bret Stephens is a Republican and has been very critical of Kamala in his editorials. However, I do not think he supports Trump, so this rant sort of makes sense.

Donny showing his misogyny by calling Stephanie Ruhle a bimbo.

I watched about five minutes of this last night. Stephens think democrats shouldn't talk about Trump in terms like "danger to democracy" or "wannabe autocrat" because it will upset Dotardarians.

I finally spotted the first dotard sign on my street this week.  Of course dipshit had to break the local ordinance that states only one sign per race and put up three.  Back in 2020, at this point in the race the entire street was littered with dotard signs.  Not a single Cruz sign on my street, but tbh I don't recall many if any Cornyn signs back in 2020.  Usually my street shows out with signs but so far there is nothing other than the one yard with the dotard signs in it.  Hell, there's an asswipe a few doors up the road from me that would fly one of those cheap ass dotard flags pretty often; even he doesn't have his flag out.

What was 2016 or 2012 like in person?

I think Virginia made early voting much easier after 2016 so hard to compare with 2020 being Covid or 2016

Article I read said 600k voted early statewide in 2016 + 538k absentee mail ballots

Sarah Longwell and Tim Miller confuse me.  They're anti Trump now but we're Republicans pollsters/strategists before.

Both are gay.  How is any sane gay person a Republican?

I'm not judging trans porn. I watch trans porn. I'm judging your use of an ugly slur that is thrown at trans people on the reg.

I am torn...  On one hand I don't want to know what word it is, on the other hand I kinda need to know so I don't offend someone.

I assume it's the T word. I did not know that was a slur. I thought it was just a shortening of the longer word.

Thanks for the education.

Taxes, which just furthers the point that anyone who is Republican is either uneducated and therefore a moron or only cares about taxes and therefore is greedy and selfish or overly religious and therefore brainwashed

IIRC it was 2018, definitely under Northam.
