Don’t we have to know what kind of trans porn we’re talking about ?

I mean, is it a chick with dick fucking another chick or a dude?

Or is it a dude with a vag getting eaten by a chick or banged by a dude.

Seems like there’s some nuance at play here.

Texags probably has a two-hour-old thread with dozens of pages discussing which of these are ok and which would obviously be gay and unacceptable.

The pressure is on this biscuit to drop out. New scandal scheduled to drop soon. True to grifting nature, he will name his price, the GOP will pay and he’s likely to be history. The window for him to drop out closes tomorrow.

If the reports are true that his LTGOV office has already been cleaned out, his price has been met and he's gone despite what he said a little while ago about staying in the race.

@SydneyCarton Murdoch agreed in his divorce to give the then-living children equal control of Fox. Now he's trying to give it to just one of the kids. I highly doubt any judge will go with him on that. There are only very limited exceptions allowing one party to unilaterally change an agreement/contract and I don't see anything here that comes close. Not a divorce lawyer but that is what my spidey sense tells me. Then again, Murdoch is the kind of guy that might be able to buy his preferred outcome.

This may be great for the governorship, but I'm not so sure it isn't also good for trump, as other folks have posted. Robinson was getting out the vote against him. I hope this motherfucker doesn't resign from the race.

That’s what we’re all saying…this is clearly turnip’s team trying to get Robinson to get out and put in someone semi-sane that Rs would feel comfortable in voting for.

Even if he drops out, is there time to replace with someone else?

there's more than a few MAGAs defending him (Robinson).
Trump backed this dude and would have to admit he was wrong.
of course he could just say he never liked him...

It’s amazingly fucked up that the Holocaust denier was only trailing by 5 points prior to this.

My understanding is he can drop out and be replaced by someone else, but his name stays on the ballot and votes for him go to the replacement. Like if he died, they’d have to name a replacement

Straight dudes being into trans porn while being vehemently anti trans in public is something that hardcore right-wingers can really relate to, so my guess is that this actually helps the Lt. Gov

No, this is going to be a big deal. I have spent enough time around Baptists to know that they don't really care at all about any of the "wrong" things that you do, as long as you don't admit to doing them or get caught doing them. They pretty much all drink, but they also absolutely love righteous indignation, and anyone they know that gets caught drinking is going straight to hell.

It's amazing how much musk looks like sammy sosa'd Kim Jon Un there...

Well none of us are nevada trust and  estate lawyers and NV law governs that.

Nevada also apparently had a liberal estate code but I don't know what that means for altering what in all likelihood is an irrevocable trust.

It is an irrevocable trust

It’s hard to imagine a much more destructive comment than a black R candidate self-describing as a Black Nazi. This skeleton must have been squirreled away until the time it could produce maximum damage & chaos. Not quite exploding walky-talkies, but an impressive operation nonetheless.

Ha, that doesn't matter to Trump.  In fairness, he probably can't remember saying it.

"I think you're better than Martin Luther King Jr."

Such a Dotard way to say something nice about someone. Well he's black, so I'll just say that he's "better" than MLK.

I don't think that really will affect the people who planned on voting for him. The outright "I'd own slaves" comment might move the needle a tiny bit, but the people voting don't believe they would ever be the slaves, so it probably doesn't make much difference. He's "one of the good ones." The trans porn thing will absolutely cost him votes, though.

This.  I haven't a clue, and the linked article didn't shed a lot of light on his arguments for changing the terms of a presumably irrevocable trust.

That said, I'd place the odds somewhere in between the likelihood of two pair and that of successfully navigating an asteroid field.

It's just like Succession.  Ex wife is going to sign the docs and fuck over the kids in exchange for a villa in the south of France.

Hmm.  If I were black I would just want to be better than Marvin Gaye.

Imagine Harris talking about some crazy white dude running for governor somewhere. And she, seriously, says "I think he's better than George Washington".

As I understand it, Rupert has two arguments. All trustees will benefit because Lachlan will preserve the right wing tilt and Fox News will only do well if it's operating as a wing of the far right. Also, the lack of agreement between the trustees will lead to rudderless leadership which itself will degrade the asset. It doesn't seem possible that these arguments could fly but who knows, it's some NV probate judge making the decision.

i bet that’s exactly what he does: wait until after midnight so the statutory deadline passes and then burns the entire thing down by stepping aside in an act of retribution.

delicious it would be…

CNN brought the receipts that it's him posting on all of those sites. Unless he had someone intentionally impersonating him for 20+ years on these sites, well before he was publicly known, it's him.

Like others have said, I worry there is a chance that someone sane will replace him on the ballot, which may help Trump and get the GOP in the governor's seat. Too bad CNN didn't wait a couple of more weeks. Perhaps there was someone else about the break the story as well.

I'm sure the NCGOP is currently filing a suit in Judge Reed O'Connor's federal district right now to update the ballots ASAP. (Just kidding)

That reminds me of Waco in the 80s-90s.  As you crest a hill on the northern edge on southbound 35, first thing you saw was

25c ADULT PEEP

On this building that presumably contained same.

Austin had and probably still has a few of these places.

Ok but why wouldn't Stein's campaign sit on this until tomorrow just to be sure no dropping out??

i'm sure someone else has said it in this thread but just in case, very doubtful that this was a result of the stein campaign...much more likely the republican party in NC got wind of this and forced it out prior to the deadline to withdraw in an effort to try and get him switched up.
