They’re words used by pretty much everyone now days. Get with the times boomer

By everyone, do you mean young men under the age of 28 who believe every pass, either completed or not completed has to be called a "dime," and who are so desperate to find their own relevance in a world which cares increasingly less, that they naively (or stupidly) believe that if they invent new words like "tuddie" or "natty" they will be regarded as erudite and not beholden to terminology or ways of thinking utilized by their elders? (excuse the run on question).

Not everything associated with "the times" is necessarily better?  For example, See ex-Mrs. Lid the Sequel, fast food (which is only food in the technical sense of the word) and Jorge's margaritas (the ones in the late 70s/early 80s would destroy many today.

Ok... I have clouds to yell at and kids to get off my lawn.

Continue.

I'm only typing the following words, because henceforth I shant ever again.

Tuddies

Natties (Unless used to describe Natural Light beer which rarely comes up in my conversations, and then only with my WT connections)

Wifey

I'm going to quietly dislike and ignore all future thoughts from anyone who does.

You've been warned and you're welcome.

I don't expect you to celebrate our natty when Bond scores the winning tuddy.

One of the shows on Sirius College Football radio said Miami owns the tiebreak over Clemson, but they didn't say why.

Maybe overall record?  Probably a 30 second Google search would clear it up, but I don't care that much.

Update: apparently I do care, because I looked it up.  Record against common opponents.  Miami is 4-0.  Clemson 3-1.

Guess it is Miami then - I hadn't looked up the tiebreaker. (Assuming they beat Wake and Syracuse)

Also - re stupid fucking conference scheduling - how does Clemson just have one conference game left and SMU has three to play?

Florida State has already played all eight of their conference games.

The fuck are we doing here?

Like how we have 3 more and Georgia has 1 more?

I guess it's just fucked across the board because of all the end of season non-conference rivalry games.

Still it's WILD that FSU is done with their slate and there's still a month before the ACC CG. Everyone in the SEC is at least between 5 and 7 games played.

9 conference games would help this. Obviously.

Yes, so instead we will just make up a bunch of horseshit about how they will get boat raced and then all of the sudden when Indiana is good and plays Ohio state close and maybe even wins everyone in here just says oh no maybe they are good?

Watch some fucking football. Indiana is a good football team. They would fucking smoke Miami who is a bad football team with an insanely good QB.

Sagarin has them dead even. Miami has beaten two top 30 teams. Indiana has beaten none. Maybe they would 'fucking smoke' Miami, but I'm not so sure.

This would be the worst playoff game in the history of the first year of the playoffs. The only light I see is Ashton Jeanty gashing that shitty fOSU defense for 220+ and 4 tuddy's

Negged for use of stupid-ass terminology. And using it incorrectly.

But, that kinda tracks.

Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina, & Georgia all play their traditional rivals (Louisville, FSU, Clemson, & Georgia Tech) the last weekend of the year and those are non-conference games.  That part makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is P4 conferences letting teams schedule random cupcakes in November.

Georgia has their traditional mid November noncon patsy and then their intrastate rivalry at the end of the year with the wreck, so they have to start conference play early.

If that were true at the end (which would not be the case) only 2 of the top 5 could possibly get a bye in the 1st round.

2 of the top 6. It’s always going to be the case that only 1 team from the SEC and BIG each will get a bye, and they will pretty much always make up the majority of the top 10. Getting the 5 seed over the 6 seed will also be a big advantage since 5 seeds gets to play the G5 team.

Yep, and in that poll the 12 ranked team is getting a bye.

If you add preggers we would have an identical list.

She’s an IU grad, so give Heather D a break. She hasn’t had a reason to root for IU football since she’s been born.
I like the hype behind Coach CIG and what he’s done in year one there. Nothing but respect, as a CFB fan.

I don’t get the appeal

I actually watch his show each M-F during lunch. They actually bring great guests on a daily basis, even after you get “past” some of the regular show/staff characters. Over the years I’ve even grown to the the staff “schtick” and insight.

Pat’s staff/crew actually brings great insight into CFB/NFL, not counting his daily guests! Watch it with an “open mind” around 11-1 on ESPN and you might be surprised.
