In the summer of 2008, Pearl invited high school junior Aaron Craft and members of his family to a cookout at his Knoxville home while Craft was on an unofficial visit to Tennessee. At the cookout, Pearl said that Craft wasn't allowed to be there under NCAA rules, but encouraged all those in attendance not to tell anyone about it. When the NCAA began an investigation of the affair, Pearl not only lied about the cookout, but also told Craft's father to lie as well.

For decades, Donald Trump has been at war with numbers. Some have capitulated more swiftly than others. His weight, his golf scores, and his net worth have long fallen in line.

The number to be wary of for the ball room is the $200 million price tag.

Paul Michael Levesque Is the real name of a real person.  He created a ring persona first known as Hunter Hurst Helmsley, who was billed as an elitist rich kid from Greenwich.  A Trump knock off really that was developed as a heel for the (now mostly maga) audience to hate. That became triple H and eventually transformed into a kind of halfassed motorcycle gang member looking all around unbeatable badass, presumably at the will of WWE content creators.

my questions: does Paul remember that he isn’t triple h?  Does Trump know that Paul isn’t triple h?  Did Trump hire Paul or triple h?  Because doing his ring entrance at the White house for social media makes one believe the triple h persona is what is wanted.

oh- and wiki tells me that prior to the triple h persona, he used the persona Terra Ryzing. That’s a girl first name so he was gender fluid back in the early 90s.

An auditorium full of adults reciting the pledge of allegiance is creepy.

The fact that the crowd yelled louder on “justice FOR ALL!!” made me smile.

Just like Russia is said to have a “vivisection morality” - the GOP can be correctly described as having “lapel flag pin patriotism”.    The assholes care nothing about their country or the Constitution or our citizens, so long as they can congratulate each other on being patriotic.   It is the secular version of Jesus noting the assholes who pray in public - who do so solely to be seen as praying in public.

There's a reason that Trump has been involved with WWF/E throughout his life, and it's because he's also a fucking carny.

Checks out

Back during the pandemic, a wrestling podcast did a full reading of the court record for Vince McMahon's steroid trial in the mid-90s. Absolute insanity the shit carnies will say and do in court, so Trumps antics definitely track there too.

Among many other debasing crimes. Brock Lesnar was also a huge part of it, may he shit himself to death.

Well, steak sauce shouldn’t exist. If your steak needs sauce, the correct thing to do to do is throw it away and try again.

Agreed. And I would say the same thing about AI.

I stopped reciting it in 3rd grade as soon as I learned I had a choice and didn't have to say it

I can't imagine being a grown ass adult pledging allegiance to a piece of cloth because I happened to be born within a certain geographic area

Well, bad and badly cooked steaks still exist.  I personally like a little bit with a pork chop or tenderloin.  And I am of the understanding that it goes well on a certain whataburger that is thick and hearty.

Well let’s call them burger sauces or pork sauces then so morons don’t think they belong on steak.

From wiki:

  • In May 2020, Grant, McMahon, and a personal friend of McMahon engaged in a threesome and at one point, McMahon allegedly defecated upon Grant. McMahon temporarily retired to the restroom to clean himself, at which point the threesome continued for an hour and half with Grant still covered in McMahon's feces.[10]
  • In June 2021, Laurinaitis and McMahon "cornered her and pulled her in between them, forcibly touched her, before ultimately putting her on top of a table in between them. She begged them to stop, but they forced themselves on her, each taking turns restraining her for the other".[10]
  • During the course of her employment, McMahon shared sexually explicit media with a "world-famous athlete" and former UFC Heavyweight Champion[10] – identified by The Wall Street Journal as Brock Lesnar[12] – to entice him to sign a new WWE contract, which the talent eventually did sign.[10]

Grant alleged that the misconduct continued until 2022, at which point McMahon's wife Linda – a former WWE executive and politician – discovered the affair and threatened to divorce him. After several months of negotiations, WWE, McMahon, and Grant signed an NDA in which Grant would be awarded $3 million for her silence; after signing the contract, Grant alleged that McMahon attempted to assault her again. Grant also alleged that key figures in WWE were fully aware of the conduct, and actively sought to conceal McMahon's wrongdoing.[10]

We hired a new receptionist at one of the clinics I work at recently. Her first day I convinced everyone to do the pledge of allegiance 5 min prior to opening clinic to mess with her. Didn’t tell her until eod.
