Could be worse.  Could have been a Linkin Park concert, and some dude with his hands all over some Southwest Texas State cutie that worked at Subway, that he met a few hours earlier after breaking up with his girlfriend.

Or a high school kid taking turns making out with a high school girl he just met…and her mom…while they all drank from a canteen full of tequila at a Jimmy Buffet concert at Southern Star at Astroworld. Man, would be awkward if THAT was on camera.

No way. In this day and age of quick form video, memes are a dime a dozen.  This will blow over in a week.

Definitely a new entry on the Know Your Meme website!  Lulz.

Before they built Southern Star Amphitheater, they had a different place that didn't have a covered stage, and I missed getting to see a Molly Hatchet concert there at Astroworld because of rain one summer night in the 80s.

A group with an album titled No Guts No Glory canceled a concert for rain? Another illusion from my youth shattered

There's funny and then there is going beyond and intentionally fucking up and putting peoples shit on blast.

Going to a cold play concert shouldn't equal everyone you've ever known putting your shit on blast and being amplified beyond the funny part of it.

What happened here isn't just the funny incident it's the everything after that has gone way further than that. It's not cool here and it would get you a ban stop acting like it would be cool here.

Do you really think that in that instance the Coldplay guy was thinking "I'm about to put this guy's shit on blast" or do you think he was making a joke in the heat of the moment?  You're ascribing waaaaay too much thought to what went down there from the Coldplay perspective.

The hot chick who posted it said she did it because she thought it was kind of funny, she didn't know who those people were or that they were ACTUALLY having an affair.

At the end of the day you can't control what you can't control.  What the CEO and his HR sidepiece COULD have controlled was 1.  Not fucking around and 2.  If you are not going to do 1 not taking it out in public before they were ready to take it out in public.

Everything after that is fuck around and find out.

This is exactly right, but the shorter version of an appropriate response is:

I don’t think this meme will disappear.

Don't get your honey where you get your money.

Just got the phone with my best buddy, he's firing his GM Monday for dopin' and an office affair.  FAFO.

I didn't know the details of the meme until last night. I kept seeing it around but I had no idea what the hell it was about. Some CEO did something? Ok whatever, I'm busy I'll see what it's all about later.

7 or 8 pages, a dozen memes, one quixotic white knight quest by imma (seriously? THIS PAIR is who you're choosing to defend) and I think I am caught up.

All I can say is that I have a satisfactory level of schadenfreude this morning. This asshole, by all accounts, has left every company he's ever touched in worse shape than when he arrived. And imma thinks we ought to leave Brittany alone?

FUCK THAT and FUCK HIM. I hope he is forever enconsced as the representative meme of "don't get your meat where you get your bread". I also hope he's so toxic that he never gets another chance to pillage a company into the dirt. I don't feel sorry for him having an epic moment of FAFO. He ought to be the representative slide on the HR presentation that we have to sit through on behavior at work.

No, I don't think I will back off, nor do I feel any pity or shame or sympathy towards him in the slightest.

Saddle up bucko. This one is just starting for you.

The fact it was the chief HR officer he was banging sends it to the next level.

Sure, Andy...keep telling yourself that. 😉

the world will obviously move on. but he'll be forever meme'd to an affair at a coldplay concert. their image is tainted for eternity whether its with family or whatever familys left after this, future companies, personal friends etc. and the majority of everybody will always associate coldplay with a CEO caught cheating with a coworker on the jumbotron.
